ROUND III PART I: Dragon and Weapon

ROUND ||| PART ||: Dark and Shadowed

So glad the @voice-of-the-sexyman championship exists. It's a wonderful way to unite the community under a few weeks of fun :D

I thought I might as well share my thoughts and analysis down here cause yall are definitely following me for my opinions /j

For part 1, trying to pick who to vote was pretty clear cut (I voted for the Dragon, so unfortunately, no puns)

I find it to be rather funny that in both of the matches you've got one complex and one simple design.

The Dragon falls into the complex role within this part of the semifinals. It's certainly a design that you can easily over complicate (see me referencing bat bones and not just doing basic lines). They are the most inherently Tumblr Sexyman as a result of the (subconscious?) Sans Undertale inspiration. The two forms makes them a slightly more diverse competitor, giving you thin wings, small body or large body, many feathers, and taking the wings of their base form and placing them on their head. And the uniquely shaped scar futher separates them from their competition. It's mostly vibes that made them my favorite, and I will reccomend you vote for them as a result, but I find it to be a good design that has some nice flair that feels rather uniquely @stoned-frog

The Weapon, on the other hand is the simplest design in the championship. Through that simplicity it becomes the most approachable design. Where it lacks in a lot of flair, it more than makes up for in one of the most recognizable sillouhetes among colds. Although at a first glance the blades could remind you of the Razor and henceforth Cheated, I find the choice to portray a different side of Cold allowed this design to shine amongst it's competition. Thank you for letting me mess around with a few shades of blue @spupulum

Part 2 on the other hand was a PAIN for me to choose who to vote for.

The Dark is another one of the simpler designs in the championships. This design sticks closer to the long quiet, and is notable for its two head feathers and curved beak. (Noting how both the Weapon and Dark use a similar curved beak) I ultimately didn't vote for this design because it's less of the design and more of the OUTSTANDING skill of their creator(s?), @phantasmatoucan that makes this voice as appealing as it is.

The Shadowed on the other hand excels in its combination of popular traits within Cold designs. Primarily playing off of a mourner with its skeletal design hidden underneath plauge doctor inspirations. Although an earlier competitor the Mourner made this design seem less unique, I feel the way it incorporates other ideas has contributed to its placement in the championship and growing place in my heart.
