Where's that post about how absurdly dirty DA2 did Anders? The one about the writer shoehorning their ex into the character instead of studying the existing work in depth? Because I am seeing comparison between DA4 and DA2 and I need y'all to know how much character drift happened between DA Awakening's interpretation of Justice!Anders and DA2's. Because the difference in direction was wiiiild. And I'm not even talking about the end of the game. Even with the same conclusion. I mean in the details, where it matters.

No shade. I haven't gotten to DA4 yet and probably won't for a while (one of life's many horrors), but this is me recommending Awakening again because it's worth a play. Weird, but they're all weird, right? It's worth it! :D

#also for anyone considering playing it I know it's hard to find #but I heard a rumor most modern copies of Origins (steam etc) offer it as an option if you press New Game #AFTER you've completed Origins at least once #like a hidden feature #so it's worth checking if you've recently gone through Origins like I know some folks have #especially for a cousland origin #(Nathaniel Howe my beloved brother in bitterness)#because THEY DID MY BOY ANDERS SO DIRTY #(possibly important to point out that the last time I played these games was probably 15 years ago)#(so take all this with a massive grain of salt)#(and uhh... disregard if inapplicable)#da awakening #ainulindaelynn
