I've never been a Daisy is Wapeach truther, but today I came to two separate damning realizations.

I've always thought it would be a clever design choice to switch the gem colors on Peach's crown for Wapeach (which they actually do in the cut mario tennis Wapeach design) and I noticed today that they also do this for Daisy's crown (as if just maybe she's Wapeach)

then later in that train of thought (I couldn't sleep so I was laying in bed thinking) I got to thinking about how they could do a wapeach design, and I was like "if Wario is Purple and Yellow, and Waluigi is just Purple, then Wapeach would have to be Yellow" and guess who's yellow and mostly a color swap of Princess Peach? wtf (wait they even kinda have contrasting personalities)

welp it looks like Daisy really is just Wapeach . . . (and I don't blame them for going down this route, do you know how hard it would be to design an evil looking character who's primary color is yellow)

(while looking up images of the there I even saw that Daisy, Waluigi, and Wario were all added to Doctor Mario at the same time . . . Coincidence?)

in the notes of the relationship-with-your-parents post someone was talking about the concept of having a family group chat or not which was interesting to me bc like. we have one but it’s all either like effectively management or life update type stuff (like ‘we are going out of town on may 2nd’ ‘can someone pick up [name] from [place]’ ‘remember to file your taxes’) or pictures of our dog (truly the glue of this entire family not even joking) so does that count idk. like we are not buddy buddy gang gang besties who chat happily about our personal interests as an entire group but we don’t not talk to each other idk

I've been super into repotting all my propogating houseplants and growing seeds from grocery store fruit for shits and giggles this summer.

Pictured are my many lil jade plant babies, my red currant tree that has survived and regrown from someone (not me) putting it into a storage unit for winter while it was still green and leafing (pro tip: make sure ppl caring for your potted trees while you are off in a different town for college know not to heckin do that), and my lil baby dragonfruit cacti in their Humidity Bins because it is dry as a popcorn fart where I live.

(Another pro tip: don't forget to open the bins, as pictured properly here, when placing them outside in the morning sun for some good good UV -- this avoids literally steam-cooking your poor innocent baby cacti. That one's on me. I won't show you a pic of the resulting carnage, but suffice to say about half survived. Luckily dragonfruit seeds are super easy to germinate like this and can be bought in the literal thousands for the low low price of 7.99 per a single fruit at safeway.)

But by far the most consequential of this summer's fucking around and finding out is this:

Context: So the downstairs bathroom where I live has a dried flower arrangement in it (i live with a lady in her 60s, it is her house). Said flower arrangement includes these:

These are lotus seed pods, for those who do nor know. Large ones. These ones are only a bit smaller than the palm of my hand, and they come from this flower:

Five days ago I found one of the seeds from these pods on the bathroom floor, idly looked up some how-to instructions, and I think you have all you need to put the rest of this story together.

After only two days in water, I was forced to confront what I, primarily a succulant and cactus grower, might have gotten myself into.

Some people are born great, some acheive greatness, and others fuck around with seeds from a tropical water plant that have been known to still germinate after 200 years without thinking of what exactly they'll do if it actually grows, and find themselves unprepared for the responsibility of what will become the water-garden version of Jack's fucking beanstalk.

I'm naming it Audrey II. Updates will follow.

i'm just having fun interpreting the way Peach acts on the couch during ep. 4 as the practiced nonchalance of a man who fucked Home sometime between the last episode and this one and told Home that it was a one-off that he didn't care about. Home is doing the same thing.

But neither of them believe the other, and the whole couch situation is part of a series of intricate rituals to make each other break.

Just realised the personalities I assigned the Neo Swords match them up very well with the Mario Princesses their energy panels match (Leaves and Peach, Boulder and Daisy, Crown and Rosalina). Also I tend to order them the same way (given I consider Leaves to be the leader of the Neo Swords and Peach is much more important than the other two put together I put the pink ones in the middle rather than at one end)

Edit: as an extra bonus, Rosalina and Crown are considerably taller than the rest of their trios. I’m not sure about how Peach and Daisy scale but I’m 99.9% certain Daisy is shorter. While officially Leaves is the same height as Boulder Terrakion is shorter than Virizion and I think we are supposed to see Boulder as being slightly shorter than Leaves (just the difference is so small they’re both listed as 1.5m)

If I had a penny for how many times I've paralleled a Avatar Peach AU character unintentionally with a SMG4 character that they aren't originally based on, I'd have two pennys, which isn't a lot but it's weird it's happened twice.
