...yknow, i'm pretty sure jarthur either actually died, or were supposed to die, falling off that cliff into the gug's habitat in part 16. john explicitly says "there's no way we would survive that fall," and then they do fall and there's this moment where everything goes quiet and faroe's song plays (seemingly as a memory of arthur composing it?) and then they hit the bottom and are. not dead. which arthur expresses disbelief at. i think they were both right the first time. i think under normal circumstances that would have killed them.

I haven’t fully decided how the moment would go, there’s a lot of directions but I did decide to kind of do a concept doodle of this scenario, sort of. I was gonna send it with this ask but I think it deserves its own post for how long it is XD but know you were the ask that spawned it. But yeah I have lots of ideas on what could possibly happen, the biggest aspect of it that is subject to change is whether or not Clay is there in what would be this aus version of the Branch Floyd reunion from the movie, and then like what goes with that you know?

I’m more along the idea that Clay would be there, as would most of them, due to the circumstances having changed so drastically that they wouldn’t be separated by a fight, but you never know. This is pretty close tho to some of like my first thoughts, also sorry for taking a literal month to answer again the concepts I made were meant to go with this but I was going through so many drafts I legit just exploded.

An OC as a Moodboard

This is one of those fun experiments in 'how much can I bend that rule', because technically there's only one OC here... except in practical terms it's four. The tag (thank you kindly for it, @sermessmer), came at a great time because I had recently thrown more into their Pinterest boards (together they actually have the most of any of my characters on Pinterest now).

Corrupted!Data Shelby Baker ! She's perfect for when you're looking for a truly existential crisis of what reality is and isn't... but like, in a much worse fashion that the prologue of KH2. Cannot get a break, disabled the recycling bin so she can't die until someone figures that one out.

my worldstate for if hawke gets left behind depends entirely on if bioware does something interesting with it. i sacrificed stroud but if the fade martyr does have relevance in the game we are now being told will deal heavily with defending the veil, good on them/i’ll eat my words, cause i was genuinely skeptical anything would come of the hlta decision. and if it’s juicier for hawke to be that person in retrospect, that’s awesome and i’m glad the theories were right. normally i would just live with my choices if stroud is the more boring option and deal with the consequences, but i really don’t feel guilty at the prospect of maybe retconning this one specifically considering the behind-the-scenes decision was because bw wanted specifically to have the player make a hard emotional choice in hlta, not cause it fit the story or characters, and that rationale for game-crafting will always bug me.
