“Yoonmi tagged you on Instagram.”

The statement caused Mark to choke on his juice as soon as it came out of Hannah’s mouth. The younger girl burst into laughter, going over to him and hitting his back to try and assist him.

“Would you relax, Mark?” Hannah laughed as she rubbed his back. “It’s not like you two aren’t friends, and it’s been over a year since you broke up. And she’s the one you talked to most about making a solo album before. Of course she’s gonna support you.”

Mark sighed, taking another sip of his juice. “I didn’t think she received the package. She didn’t message or anything.”

Hannah rolled her eyes then looked at Haechan, who happened to be sitting on the other end of the room. Knowing what she wanted him to do, Haechan threw a small pillow at Mark.

“She’s been in LA, you fool,” Haechan reminded him. “She flew there with Hobi hyung and she just got back earlier today. She texted me when they landed. We’re gonna have dinner together tomorrow night before she goes to the Philippines with Hobi hyung on Friday. You guys wanna come?”

Hannah simply shook her head, knowing she already had plans with the 01 liner in their own time. “We’re going out for brunch tomorrow because I have dinner with Yangyang. Mark?”

He took a moment to think about it. Though he and Yoonmi were finally on good terms after the break up (a year and one heartbreak album from her later), they had only ever seen each other in group settings. Groups bigger than three. 

Another factor is his slight mortification at the slightest chance she’d figure out he wrote “Journey Mercies” about her almost a year ago when he had gotten drunk after their break up, despite him being the one who initiated it. 

Maybe dinner with her could wait some other time.

“I’ll pass for now,” he smiled at Haechan while pulling out his phone to look at what Yoonmi had tagged him in, “but give her a hug from me, alright?”
