Design notes:

This took way longer to post than I expected mainly because of imposter syndrome and constantly thinking I could do more for his entry but, I'll keep this as Ace's main style anyway. It's pretty simple compared to previous designs, but to be fair, devil Ace's personality and shenanigans would stand out enough to compensate for that matter LOL

As I said on Deuce's post, I wanted to connect their designs in some aspects, so yeah! Complementary color pallettes! That's why they both have few shades that stand out of their main monochrome colors, Deuce is blues and greens, while Ace stays around red and oranges!

Fashion-wise now, I initially pictured him pulling a lot more references from 80s men fashion, but ig by the end I accidentally strayed away from that and somehow incorporated a more "modern" influence to it? Man I'm very bad at describing the creative process and vibes of my designs but what else is new 😭😭 ANYWAYS, off topic but I should mention that, as you can see I'll throw in a high heel in any characters that give me the opportunity to do so, this one especially, I had Cleo's "dawn of the dance" heels in the back of my mind while designing, ( I forgot to include in the image above again 😔) which fun fact, was my first Monster High doll I got as a kid, so-!!! That's a shoe style that I'm very fond of KWDNWKSNSK

LORE DUMP TIME, ok so given each characters unique scare-itage, the way the cast interact with each other and build relationships could somehow differ from how they interact in og twisted wonderland! For example, since MH!Ace is THE devil from THE bible (/ref) he probably shares a common background, or have met Vil and Idia before they enrolled in MH!NRC together! That's such a funny thing to think about for me. Who would have thought they'd ever be a trio of great childhood friends?

You were surprisingly popular for what you did. Makeup tutorials, reviews, grwms, ootd, vlogs. A part of your popularity was how it seemed you lived the dream life, inspiring teens all across Japan to strive for your aesthetic. (Wonyoungism lmfao).

You officially met Katsuki when you were asked to be the main interviewer on this year's annual Pro Hero Billboard Chart red carpet. When you read the email offering you this once in a lifetime opportunity, you slammed your laptop closed and sped walked laps around your bedroom. You were just a random person who posted silly footage of themselves. But now you were going to be on national TV, being on screen with the most famous faces of Japan. You were shitting yourself.

The company in charge of everything didn't really give you anything to prepare, not terrifying at all!! You spent days researching the heroes, trying to dig deep to find actually interesting things, rather than the repetitive "What made you want to be a hero?". A part of you really wanted to find embarrassing and creepily personal things to entertain the audience, but you quickly found there was a reason why you weren't a detective. 3 days straight, you attempted to stalk the heroes, and nothing. NOTHING!

The event was coming up quickly, and you had absolutely nothing. Your thick stack of cards, all decorated with the iconic design, were blank. You cried for 7 hours.

Eventually, you wrote down some questions, but rereading them, they were the most pathetic excuses for questions ever. You were spiralling. The next day, you were probably going to bomb, have no chemistry with any of the heroes, broadcasting hours upon hours of awkward tension, ruining your reputation and career, destroying the image you had spent years creating for yourself. You cried. A lot.

With a blink of the eye, you were at the red carpet, all dolled up, with less confidence than ever before. Great. The first hero you were stuck with was Deku. You assumed production noticed your panic and decided to throw you a bone.

"So, Deku, if you had to describe your pre-hero days with one word, what would it be?"

"Hmm," he took a second to think, "Bad."

Huh. No, Deku, No!! You were supposed to be the easy one! You cried internally.

[smut prompt under cut] I just saw this post on ig that was like “ur going on a roadtrip with svg, pick a car” and there was all of these options, but the last one was wonwoo, jeonghan and josh… and now I got an idea that’s clouding my mind so I might write it. But imagine a road trip with svt and their partners, you are all going somewhere so obvs you gotta divide but since everyone’s bringing their so you end up in the same car as jh and ww since you three are the only single ones. But in the way there you need to take a pit stop for some snacks when out of nowhere it starts pouring and you get a notice of possible floods in the area and to find shelter as soon as possible.

The rest of yours friends had already made it past the affected area so they were okay to go but you three were now stuck lord knows where and wouldn’t be able to keep going (jh insisted you could but ww said yall should be safe.) So now you gotta find the nearest shelter available (and you were NOT going to stay at a motel, yucky.) You managed to find a nice village (?) of cabins and decided to rent one for at least 2 nights. As you start getting your soaked selfa inside, you couldn’t help but feel a pair of eyes on you. Your light clothing slightly see through as it was soaked. Wonwoo offers you to shower first and get cozy but then you remembered your luggage is not here! It was in another car! So Wonwoo lets you borrow a shirt of his before jh can offer. And jh offers you a pair of undies (new dont worry) since you had nothing. You take a shower and blah blah blah… the boys take their turns showering and you watch tv for a bit, checking the broadcasting channel once in while before deciding to head off to bed. So, a couple hours ago, a fairly well known Gaylor creator on TikTok, SidneyBG, posted a screenshot of NFL on CBS, the official IG account of NFL games broadcast on that network, which depicted Travis Kelce at prom with a man. I assume it was quickly deleted as it’s no longer present insofar as I can see, but a few people mentioned seeing it and Sidney is usually pretty reputable.

(I want to make it clear that the NFL THEMSELVES do not run that account; the network prob has an intern or something who does, but there are likely agreements and stuff on how they’re allowed to represent the NFL and I do wonder if the Gaylor Intern at CBS may have Tross’d too close to the Sun and it was promptly removed when noticed. They usually get a decent number of likes, so Sidney’s screenshot only having 741 likes likely means he saw it soon after posting)

The photo is authentic, and is a crop of one from Travis’ own IG that was also shared by People Magazine in 2023, that originally depicted him with 2 men.

Now obviously… people get photographed with their friends at Prom. People go to their Prom with friends. But it is interesting that this is the only photo from his Prom we have seen, and not one with his Mom or Jason or a GF/female friends.

This is not any level of smoking gun.

But it is a bullet that showed up near the crime scene, so it should be bagged up and documented for further investigation.

This is *also* amidst the recent claims that “Travis said ‘we’ when talking about his living situation so he must be living with Taylor,” which with a little digging, it’s easy to find reports that he’s actually living with Ross Travis and a childhood friend who is his personal chef as he tries to get in shape for the upcoming season.

And *also* also amidst all the furor of interest around the AMAs and a lot of people thinking they’re getting Rep.

I have said many times that the best way for Taylor to come out and to not leave her hetero fans feeling deceived, is to increasingly point more and more at the holes in her own story in ways that encourage fans to critically think about the circumstances.

Audiences don’t like being deceived, but if they figure it out on their own and THEN are told about it, they’re more likely to accept the concept because they feel validated in “figuring out the trick.”

Over the past few months, that has seemingly happened. Taylor ghosting the end of Super Bowl while Travis and Ross both wear gold roses. Conflicting reports on where she’s at. Bringing attention to who Travis has been living with (and the fact that this is a living situation that seems to both predate Taylor and also be in place the entirety of their relationship).

Chapters Until The Story Ends Without The 143 Kiss Being Addressed Or Acknowledged: 2

Bizarrely, I feel like I don't have a ton to say about this chapter. Not because stuff doesn't happen in it but because… fuck, man. What do I even say. I can't quite 100% shake my suspicion that Akasaka has some asspull up his sleeve and that Aqua might come back in style form, even if altered to the point that he isn't the Aqua we know anymore, but this chapter is clearly set up for us to think he's dead and for us to see other character's reactions to this news, so I'll talk about the text with that assumption in mind. This one will probably be kind of all over the place so bear with me ig

That being said… this is all kind of dumb as fuck, huh

Like. There's just so many insane contrivances with this setup that it's impossible for me to take it seriously. Putting aside that there's no way on planet earth Aqua's plan should have fooled anybody, why in God's name are his family and friends finding out about this from a news broadcast and not, like… Being contacted by the police?? Or at least hearing about it beforehand??

I also really don't like that we're setting up to have a whole chapter focusing on Ruby's response to all this while Aqua's Literal Mother and all his friends get like. Two panels to be shocked at the news. If the series ends without giving them all the space to grieve I think I will be legitimately really pissed off lmao

The presence of 15 Year Lie in this chapter also makes me agonizingly aware that we know basically nothing about it to this day, even though the contents of the movie are what this final arc revolves around. Aqua's plan relies on Kamiki's crimes as exposed by the movie being heinous enough that Kamiki would kill Aqua to silence them but…

WHAT FUCKING CRIMES???

The Kamiki we saw in the movie was only ever portrayed as a victim in the scenes we see. Unless the story is trying to imply that Kamiki is somehow responsible for Uehara and Airi's deaths or that 15YL makes him directly responsible for Gorou's death or - literally I have no idea what this could be referring to.

I dunno, man. It's hard for me to really want to buckle down and analyse this because so much of it feels entirely contrary to the story that came before. I've always insisted that the one thing that we could guarantee was that Aqua and Ruby would survive the series and be happy because so much emotional weight is put on Ai's wish for Aqua and Ruby to grow into adults and be happy, and it really seemed like we were building up to an ending of Aqua deciding for himself that he wants to finally live for himself, so this sudden swerve into Aqua being told by God "actually your purpose in life is to nobly commit suicide for your sister" is uh, jarring to say the least.

Part of the issue with this is that I think Akasaka doesn't think of Aqua's sacrifice as being a suicide, narratively speaking, even though Akane literally acknowledges it as such. But the thing is, Aqua's "sacrifice" is emergent from all the same things as his suicidal ideation - his belief that his life is intrinsically less valuable than everyone else's and his continued guilt and self loathing as a result of his trauma. Aqua literally says to Ruby's face in 143 that he feels guilty just for being alive and it's literally never addressed again.

So it's very difficult not to read this ending as the story approving of Aqua killing himself, but only if it's for the right reasons. Not only is that an insanely irresponsible message to put into a story as widespread and visible as OnK is right now, it's also just fucking ghoulish.

Idk. Even if Aqua lived here, I just really dislike this idea of his whole life's purpose being Narratively Affirmed as being to uplift Ruby at his own expense. Aqua is very much like Ai in that he's a person who has spent basically all of both his lives in service to other people, unable to pursue the things that he wants and that make him genuinely fulfilled - an ending that parallels Ai, where he is denied this to the extent that it kills him, is not a bad idea on paper but the execution here makes it fall apart. Like, if the framing was that Aqua and Kamiki were both unable to move on from the past to the point that it kills them, I'd vibe with that or something like it. But as is, this shit is just baffling.

It doesn't help that Aqua's death is just completely unmoored from anything the series has been setting up all this time. I've seen people defending this as being what Aqua's revenge was building up to, but this very explicitly isn't about Aqua's revenge. It's about "protecting Ruby's future", but the idea that Kamiki was a threat to Ruby specifically is something that was introduced all of four chapters ago. Even then, it's deeply undercooked. Like, what it is about Kamiki that makes him SUCH a threat to Ruby that Aqua has no choice but to take the nuclear option and kill them both? Why is this the one and only way to stop him? We don't know - we basically know nothing about Kamiki besides "he's Ai's crazy ex" which is such a massive letdown for an antagonist who's been built up for this long.

Speaking of Ai…. where the fuck is she!!!

I know this is predictable background noise from the Ai Wife Guy, but it really is baffling to me that she's such a nonfactor when the climax happening right now is her son confronting the man who killed her. At best, we get mild lipservice as to her existence but the series is so all-in on this "protecting Ruby's future" framing that Ai's absence here feels jarring. It's not just that Ai should be relevant because I like her (but I DO and she SHOULD) but because it makes for a bizarrely deflated finale. Instead of the tragedy we've been building up to avenging for over 140 chapters, Aqua's death comes as the result of a plan he came up with on the spot to deal with an ill-defined threat that only came into existence 4-6 chapters ago.

It just doesn't really feel satisfying, especially when the series has been so wishy washy when it comes to focusing on Aqua and Ruby's relationship. If the series was going to make that connection The central axis on which this climax revolves, then it needed more fleshing out than it got, regardless of if the series went the AquRuby route or not.

Then @fromthedepthsandbeyond brought to my attention this estimate (are you the op?) of events and brand sponsorships from last year where it shows that FirstKhao as a CP are in fact extremely popular but not at all popular as solo artists. And unfortunately I think this is just reality - they work really well together but I was actually both their 'solo' fans before they paired up. More khaotung than First and they are unfortunately just a little too kooky for mainstream popularity. I genuinely think Joong is trying to help Khaotung with roping him into TikTok dances and constantly promoting him on his own channel and IG broadcast because boy do First and Khaotung do nothing mainstream on IG. its only happy birthdays, promo work, promo cp, promo each other and khaotung's blurry artsy fuckboi photos. What can I say, that's what I like, that's what the people who like them like. I hope they don't change (but I know they're trying to). What I was a little surprised by perhaps was this report by another fan who went to their building this summer (2024) and FK just had a mural on the second floor basement. I know that at some point they had some type of pillar on the ground level. Now, the events numbers are outdated and I follow them on socmed fairly close - they might not be getting sponsorships but they're not jobless. even at the times they're quiet or disappear when they resurface it turns out that they were series prepping or in workshops.

I don't know what to say, they're very queer coded, they take challenging jobs and are involved in projects and with creators that are invested in making some unique art which is rare at gmmtv something that everyone here loves to incessantly yell about (for good reason at times).

I don't know how to say this so that it doesn't sound totally insane but to be more popular they have to act straighter???? They actually have to look like they want to fuck a woman, like at least that they think about it instead of just each other. Like they tried so hard to make First's character straight in blacklist -A VALIANT attempt one would say and he still ended up having more chemistry with Drake and the 4 seconds he spent with khaotung on screen 😭 JoongDunk and PondPhuwin are just not like that??? I follow Joong and Pond on IG too and they are in fact able to breathe without their respective pair present. They are so so so so in love when together, bring each other up quite a bit when they're solo but they're not living inside the other's pocket if that makes sense? Sun, Moon, Cosmos, Terra, Solar, Solstice, KC, BM 1 (Bloody), BM2 (Harvest), Jack, Dazzle, The Creator, Taurus (not Gemini bc they’re considered a LAES astral), Old Eclipse variants, my girl Nexus, Monty, uhhh that’s all imna rate that’s already a lot💔

Sun, 8.5/10 - Overall great character, his trauma and lore shape him well and he’s got little traits and habits that top it all off. A bit quick to forget family members, which lowers his rating a bit, but overall a great character.

Moon, 6/10 - Pretty good character, his sass and personality brings up his rating a lot, and I absolutely love that he’s a foodie. While that’s all great, his trauma hasn’t really shaped him to do better actions, and he’s not that great when it comes to supporting his brothers. Good character, but sucks at the same time.

Cosmos, 8/10 - Gonna point it out straight, I loved how he had that whole depression arc after his death, I think they broadcasted his reaction to trauma extremely well and it was awesome to watch him slowly overcome it. Not much thought otherwise on him, but his depression arc was cool.

Terra, 7/10 - As much as I love my characters being absolute queens and not letting anyone bitch them, I did enjoy how she brought that motherly feeling more when Nexus was part of the family. She was sweet, considerate, and just. Motherly. I personally don’t like her new model all that much, it just doesn’t feel Terra, but you go girl.

Solar, 9.5/10 - May be a little biased (been a fan since day one), but I absolutely love how they portrayed his reaction to certain events, such as his Moons death, or talk of his past, etc. There’s certain parts where we can see he’s obviously an Eclipse, but then others when he’s just him. Just Solar. Although, I do hope the writers have him maybe face his past trauma a bit more, since he’s only talked about it with Nexus offscreen and nobody else, he’s a really great character and absolutely destroys with body acting.

DarkSun/Solstice, 8/10 - Really love how they portrayed “Sun who’s kinda insane and hates Moons with his entire being” but instead of going the “EHHEHEHAHAHHSHEHAHHA” side they went to the somewhat emotionless idgaf side, which I absolutely adore. The thing that takes his rating down a bit is the lack of knowledge we have on him and his motives, which kinda didn’t make sense? He admittedly drove Nexus off the good route he had going, so Sun could kill him and realize he actually hates all Moons, even though this didn’t go to plan. I just didn’t understand what his motives were and yeah.

KC, 9/10 - He was absolutely fucking awesome. I really loved that whole dad dig he had going and I wish they would’ve kept him around so he could just be that father figure to like everyone. Only thing that dived his rating down was him dying so easily. Otherwise I ate him up.

BM twins, 4/10 - They had one thing, and one thing only. Blood. Wasn’t a very interesting character to me, but more like a worm in my ear. Yeah, yummy blood ig? You do you.

Jack, 8/10 - OOUGH MY SILLY LITTLE GUY. I absolutely love him with body acting, it just tops him off. I love how he started as something like a robot, then descended into a child. Only thing I think can be improved is a bit more scenes of him still being traumatized after the whole creator shebang. Solid character who’s so silly.

Dazzle, 7/10 - Okay, hot take but she’s very infantilized. From what I’ve gathered she’s about 9, and they treat and play her like she’s 6. All the 9 year olds I’ve seen and known are still childish, yes, but not like Dazzle. But she is very silly and tiny and cute. Personally I liked her better in the skeleton body, she was much more eeby and stuff but yeah. Silly lil gal.

The Creator, 4/10 - Not because I hate him, but because his motives were so inconsistent and stupid it made me rage. One minute he wants to help Sun and Moon, the next he gives them a sister, and next he wants to torment them, then get star power, then idfk. It was just so inconsistent and it annoyed me, even when he became a dark star thing. Hated it.

Taurus, 5/10 - Uhh I don’t really know him, care about him. I just know he’s very Zeus-like.

Old Eclipse variants, 10/10 - Loved dude. Absolute asshole, portrayed the villian perfectly. Personal favorite was during his star arc when he was literally killing himself for reasearch purposes. Nothing more needs to be said. Easy 10/10.

Nexus, 10/10 (can I do 10.5?) - I absolutely fucking love her. I may be a bit biased because I’ve supported her every action since day one, but yeah. They portrayed her insanity perfectly, and I loved the way she was drawn to power so she would be seen. Her anger to Sun is so MMMM. IMO she’s the saddest character in tsbs by far. I actually wanted to throw up and cry during her corruption arc when she couldn’t control her body and AAUGHHH I actually held some resentment to Eclipse for a quick minute because HE KNOWS HOW TO FIX HER BUT WONT TELL AAUGHUFHSJ. Obvious 10/10 loved her as NMoon my cunty ass little guy, loved her as Nexus my sass ass girl with, and loved her as Void Nexus my poor abandoned little gal who fr just wanted to help her family🙏

Monty, 10/10 - Chill dude. Love bro. Money yummy. Well actually Earth is more yummy now. Loved how they were changed all because of love. Easy 10/10.

butter by asako yuzuki - i’m not usually a big crime/thriller reader, but this FLOORED me. read it coming home from a trip and i was so enraptured by the story and the dynamics. saw it won waterstones book of the year so! good for her.

brainwyrms by alison rumfitt - oohh miss rumfitt you’ve done it again …. such a viscerally brilliant and at times disgusting tale. i recced this to a regular at work and she messaged me saying ‘okay. what the fuck did you make me read’.

it came from the closet: queer reflections on horror - some of horror’s big queer artists talk about how they felt seen in horror media as lgbtq people!! so interesting. picked this up at gay’s the word in london.

a lonely broadcast by kel byron - this felt like reading a tma episode and that is a compliment. so unique and stunning. i want the next book now.

So there is this German crime TV show called Tatort (engl. crime scene) which is on TV every Sunday night. There are different casts for different cities in Germany, like Tatort Berlin for example. Every 90min episode starts with a crime/ murder which is solved by the end.

Now this show is usually very much not watched by younger people and is what you could call a boomer show ig. It is produced by German public broadcasting and thus doesn’t have the biggest budget and is not that well-produced lol.

Anyway, Spatort is the fan term for Tatort Saarbrücken - a Tatort that only has one episode per year and got a new cast a few years ago with four pretty young detectives. The past friendship between the two male leads was a very important part of the first episode and people started reading more into it and shipping them. By now people also ship the two female leads which is very funny bc Tatort and German public broadcasting are known for very heteronormative and not diverse television and some of the boomers that watch it would probs get a heart attack if they knew what people online think about Spatort haha.

So basically, now there is a huge fandom online for a boomer TV show and all we do is make queer headcanons about everything we see haha. The fandom is mainly active on Tumblr and every year when the new episode comes out it starts trending on here :)

(Also at some point the actors really leaned into the whole gay narrative and people had a lot of hope for a queer couple on a boomer TV show!! There were bloopers from the show where the male leads kissed and stuff, but ultimately nothing explicitly gay ever happened in the show. It’s also important to know that this is the most extreme slow burn ever since there is only one episode per year which is only 90 minutes long and most of it is just about solving a crime and not about character development…)

The reason I went back to read the old chapters is bcz my two adhd brain cells decided it was completely normal and essential to go through all the chapters to analyze Genos wardrobe and his fashion evolution (at midnight instead of sleeping).

I thought it was only in the anime, but in the Manga too, we see Genos style was more simple at first then it gets more sophisticated. At first he's wearing simple tank tops/sleeveless shirts with jeans, pretty smart casual, then he's into fashionable sporty and street wear, which is a quick reminder of his age. This makes me wonder if 1, they had planned this from the start or 2, they just realized they could make this character stand out even more.

From one side, Genos never stopped wearing the first type of smart casual clothes, but from the other...

I feel like Genos was a strong asset of OPM from the start, he's the first character I saw on screen when Opm was broadcasted in a French channel called Game one (it's the best dub for me, mind you I don't always like French dub.) and I was automatically hooked, not that I'm into handsome cold blond characters or cyborgs, but idk his design was just it, I changed the channel at first (I had no idea it was a parody anime) but then I quickly came back for him, only to discover this is so much more than a cute blond cyborg anime, and more like a completely insane top tier shounen anime. Still, putting aside the fact that we all know how amazing Opm is, the first season was pretty slow paced and there weren't many characters to flaunt around, I mean ofc besides Saitama, Still back then when I showed Saitama around to my friends they'd laugh at my tastes and only consider Genos the decent looking character (I loved them both I didn't mind). What I mean to say is for a while, Genos was the runway model in opm before more characters were properly introduced.

So maybe just maybe, the producers were really like oh wow that's our trademark hottie, what if we upped the game with him? What then? And everything, from his cyborg parts, his hair and clothes were meticulously designed to look effortlessly more sublime every time.

Maybe I'm biased bcz I love characters who change clothes in shows which is tightly linked to me as a person ig, (they feel like my dressing dolls with all their accessories and variable wardrobe options) I love that Genos's body (?) isn't just a super powerful weapon but it's also breathtakingly gorgeous, I like thinking that Dr. Kuseno wanted to give that to Genos at least, again reminds me of his young age, he probably thinks 'young ppl like looking cool and mysterious, right?.'

I can't realistically tell tho, I haven't consulted One webcomic and I don't know how the planning of the Manga goes, either way it's just fun to think of how fashion works in Manga and any type of media.

Omegaverse content but adding in the seraphim and Omega Buggy content

• Buggy probably wouldn't really like. Broadcast to the world that he's an Omega. I genuinely believe the Roger pirates and other previous era crews were semi old fashioned insofar as Omegas Are To Be Protected, a sort of Don't Ask Don't Tell type of deal. It was never a shameful thing but a safety thing, and if you were secure with your crew, it was fine. But it's a Need To Know Basis and based on personal discretion. Buggy, as the youngest on board, was the baby on top of being the only Omega so the protective urges were compounded.

• some in Buggy's crew knows, I think. He's very adamant that you do what makes you happy but you do NOT judge another for things beyond their control. Any primary and any secondary is welcome with open arms and intercrew relationships are fine so long as everyone keeps it from impacting the crew by and large in anegative way. He doesn't give a single flying fuck. But that said, he also doesn't have a large scale Secret Reveal. His closest people know bc he just vibes on a need to know basis.

• Mohji and Cabaji are Betas, and Alvida is an Alpha. While Buggy's Heats are essentially like menstrual cycles, he also gets slightly needier - it manifests as his temper being shorter, his tears coming quicker, and he's constantly On Edge. He demands SNUGGLES and AFFECTION /j ((honestly he almost never asks for it, but they offer it regardless. While pheromones are slightly lighter in Betas, Cab and Moh are His Pack and Alvida joins the Pack too, so between the three of them, he just kinda goes boneless. It's prime real estate for a lion to snuggle into, too. Win-win))

• When the cross guild starts rolling, Buggy absolutely does not offer information on his Secondary. Mihawk and Croc are both private people as well so they never ask or offer their own. Tensions are high for a while before everyone starts warming up and settling down

• everyone has hit Friendly Status ((pining stage 1)), when the seraphim show up. Rumors start absolutely FLYING because the Big Three are basically co-parenting these kids. Someone makes a remark that "captain Buggy must have blessed Sir Crocodile and Hawkeyes with children to deepen their ties", and it spreads like wild fire. Nobody ever mentions the logistics of it, because what is logic when you worship your clown god.

• S-Hawk (Birdie but open to options ig) and S-Croc (name pending but I like Angel for some reason) overhear it and go "oh papa and father and so of course Buggy must be mama".((Bonus points for cute kid logic of "you read us stories and moms in the stories do this, and you do that so obviously you're our mom"))

• Crocodile and Mihawk, while Angry (read: flustered) at first, eventually warm up to the idea and even begin seeing Buggy in a better light (pining, stage 2). It's a dramatic hot mess. Bets are being placed on the wedding date.

• Buggy actually eventually feels comfortable enough with them that he doesn't feel like he has to hide 24/7/365. So he winds up casually coming out to them, in a manner of speaking, for a stealth thing. They're trying to acquire backers, they're planning on the best method for infiltration, and Mihawk mentions off hand how majority for this sheltered branch of nobility only acknowledge Alpha and Omega couples. Croc just sighs, because his own scent could rarely be mistaken for an Omega, let alone Mihawk, and they don't want to leave it up to just any other person who happens to smell nice enough to pass and-

Buggy just arches a brow. "So I'll just go with one of you. I can Chop my nose, use a prosthetic. It's uncomfortable, but I've done it before."

• the kids btw ADORE Buggy. And Buggy loves them!!! Both the seraphim and other kids. And the kids at the locatipm of the undercover mission. Croc almost chokes on his cigar when he catches a glimpse of Buggy giggling with a noble lady and holding a baby in one arm while cooing over another with the other Omegas.

THE EX-MORNING Q15: OHM! CAT! BEACH! BOAT!

This was an exciting and mysterious day for The Ex-Morning production! First of all, it was the longest filming day yet! They started in the morning as usual, but they didn't wrap until nearly midnight, and they had a ton of stuff going on throughout the day.

Let's dive in, shall we? (Get it? It's 'cos they were at the beach again.)

First and most importantly of all, we had our little SOTUS kitty Sosay back!

Tamtawan's beautiful cat Sosay (named after a SOTUS-era song) joined our heroes on the beach in Pattaya! Which has me asking all kinds of questions. How many scenes is Sosay going to appear in? Where did Sosay come from? Does Sosay have journalism training? Does Tamtawan have a social media account for Sosay? Can I join it? How many T-shirts of Sosay can I buy?

I continue to be ever more convinced that Sosay was the inspiration for at least one (1) impending piece of merch. Likely more. People love cats. (Me. I love them. I want Sosay everything. Sell me Sosay elephant pants, GMMTV.)

Oh, also, before we continue:

I just saw this shot of them on a rooftop today, but I thiiink this was from the other day, so let's just consider this a delayed crumb from a previous Q.

Anyway!

We also saw evidence of the long-awaited presence of physical human perfection and embodiment of sweetness itself: Ohm Thitiwat!

Granted, his IG story was the only indication he was there, but I'm pretty sure the scenery matches, and I don't think he's filming anything else yet. So, let's assume he was there. For fun. Yay!

We had Jamie and Earn back again, but no indication of what they were filming, sadly. :')

I believe the bridge in the background of Lit's story on the left was also filmed, shown in Koei's story on the right. It's a pretty striking location, and with the lighting there, I think it could be either romantic or suspenseful. Or both! Isn't it fun knowing nothing? :D

I've compiled the videos shared by cast and crew as usual! Ohm, Jamie, and Earn's are at the beginning, with locations in the middle, a birthday message from Krist to one of the crew, and some birthday stuff toward the end.

The scenery was absolutely stunning, and I can't wait to see how it translates on film. There's so much we don't know about the story yet, so we're still largely guessing.

When it got dark, filming moved out onto the water to this boat:

Mysterious indeed, yes? No indication of what's going on out there at all.

One of the fun things about following the crew accounts is that they're all consummate professionals about keeping just enough secret that it's enticing and spoils pretty much nothing. And part of the reward of keeping track of the production process will be looking back as the series airs and matching scenes with these little crumbs we got along the way.

Filming wrapped around 11:30pm, and we even got a date for Q16!

It seems Q16 is scheduled for March 25th, likely to give KristSingto time to prepare for their upcoming PeBaCa concert on March 22nd. During that time, I'm sure the editing team will be working on postproduction for the footage already shot.

Our most recent update from Krist on his last TikTok live was that The Ex-Morning is meant to air in mid-late April, and I still think it'll be taking over the Saturday slot once Us the Series ends.

So, April 19th. (Probably.)

In the meantime, remember all the times in this post I said we don't know anything about the story so we can only guess? WELL SOON WE WON'T HAVE TO.

At the International Book Fair on March 29th, they'll be selling the novel adaptation of The Ex-Morning! (Since the story is completely original, the novel is based on the series, not the other way around.)
