dc / marvel verse. sabrina is a protagonist in her early days, monikered as vesna and helps the main group a handful of times since her mid teens. she carries within her a core made of pure magic energy, making her the literal personification of magic. they say it is passed down from mother to daughter through birth, unfortunately killing the birth giver. however, as she grows older, starting around her mid 20s, her father's ( greed ) blood poisons it. it kills her from within, until it consumes her as she takes her last breath in her early 30s. on that bed, is born morana, master of a corrupted magic core. she poisons the earth she walks on, and is sealed away, but too late as her magic has already infused itself into the earth's center. it rots away at the energy, until it extinguishes its life. when will that happen though? she laughs in the heroes' faces, and swears to never tell.
