lovers: a fire started with gasoline, most of the times it gets out of control and burns so fast that you blink and its gone, doesn't give you time to really think about it. or it burns high and fast but also doesn't stop only on the gasoline, it burns your fingers, your papers and everything around. you're happy when is gone.

friendship: *you* wanted that fire to happen, collected pieces of you here and there to make it happen, took a lighter and lit it, burned your fingers a few many times before that little flame started to glint, but you felt happy about it. when you notice is flickering, you frown at it, pick up another little piece of yourself to put on the line, and maybe make it burn brighter. the flame increases, burns higher but not enough to burn you, just enough to make you warmer, it's comfy, better than your previous cold situation and you get used to it, happy with it. but sometimes you don't notice the flames starting to flicker, one piece turning into coal, others turning into embers, not so strong but still trying. then it vanishes and leaves you with cold loneliness. it hurts, makes your heart cold, and every time you remember that warmth, it gets even colder, hurting.
