The point of this post isn’t to discuss the popularity of the show. The point is there is a coordinated MAGA campaign to “review bomb” everything remotely “woke”. Republicans have billions in dark money and they use it everyday to try and reshape our society. They will never stop until they are forced to through severe measures.

I am feeling so so so normal about the fact that we get to see what everyone else’s eyes/bodies look like when infected with the Plagas EXCEPT for Luis. We get to see how Ada, Ashley and Leon react to the infection inside of them (especially in their eyes) and the only person we DON’T see is Luis. Like obviously it’s because he’s already healed himself ages ago. But could it also be because, on a more meta level, he’s afraid to face his own past?? Is it to hide his vulnerability from the first people he has the chance to help in years??? Luis certainly TRIES to keep up this confident persona but for a character who wears his heart on his sleeve he just can’t help but show it over and over again. So idk it feels very poignant to me that Luis is the only character who we never visually see at their absolute physical lowest like Leon, Ada or Ashley

Small neat detail I noticed: Vox's and Sir Pentious' use of their hypnotism kind of reflects their characters.

Vox actively uses his hypnotic eye to influence people into believing him and buying from him. And he uses it very often. To the point that when any kind of obstacle comes his way, the hypno-eye just seems to activate on instinct.

Pentious has only used his hypnotism once so far and it's when he's defending himself from Angel Dust. His hypnotism is also much weaker than Vox's. Whereas Vox seems to be able to brainwash people and the effects last for some time, Pentious's hypnosis only stuns Angel and Angel manages to break out of it after like a second.

I just thought that was really interesting.

I don't understand when ppl are like "what even is the point of vanny anymore if ggy is a thing" like vanny kills the kids. that's the entire point of everything happening at all. like the goal of the mimic is to kill kids and vanny is the one that does that. ggys role is to keep what vanny does under wraps and keep her under control as Vanessa because she's the one that does the dirty work. thats been the main goal of the bad guy throughout the entire series of events. that's very important lmao

Suggestion: Don’t settle on a specific superpower. Hero Scar has multiple, but they are extremely nebulous. Strength but it’s a question of if his emotions play into it- speed, but because he panicked- super hearing or sight when he’s focused, but also when he’s being distracted, this man is the hero of the city because he has learned how to operate himself like a misbehaving machine rather than a person

Panic and stress giving him a randomized and maybe-relevant maybe-not temporary superpowers would be honestly very funny and very on brand with Scar. This is more tempting than it should be.

He's inconsistent! He's all over the place! He's heroing anyway! He's good at improvising and taking advantage of changing situations! He can't rely on any of it at any given time! He needs a deadline and some pressure to make himself function! He might never get powers again if he keeps living a peaceful comedy romp life!

Back in the day he would have fully 'trained' Cuteguy to put extra pressure on him via Cuteguy describing/reporting situations they're in together while they were on the job as being Way more dangerous and down to the wire than they are.
