while I absolutely NEED to see the scene of two re-disheveling himself after being horrifically…cleaned??….for comedic purposes, it also really is so quintessentially the Doctor & everything the show is I guess. I never really picked up on this the first time watching the macra terror so maybe I’m just slow but already the obsession with this hard edge cleanliness shows the character of the colony so, so well. that the doctor is specifically singled out for being dirty because his clothes are unkempt; that they immediately try to remedy this; that the colonists - and ben, polly already! - loudly protest when he tried to go back to being himself, being filthy……..well.

Hi, I hate to be a bother but is chapter 1 of Paramour (hope I'm spelling that right) the only chapter you've shared or are there more posted? your writing is so good and I've fallen in love with the story after seeing your anniversary art. Also, do you post it anywhere outside of Tumblr? unfortunately, the color scheme of your blog and the size of the font makes it hard for my poor eyesight to read (No hate to you btw I just zoom in real close)

hello hello!! firstly you are not at ALL a bother <3 (also you're spelling it right lol) regarding my desktop blog, i bumped up the font size so i hope that's helped it be a bit more readable? i'm planning on changing up color schemes and the like at the end of this year, but i hope the size change makes it more bearable ;3;

secondly, hearing that people like my writing enough to want to seek more of it has me giggling and kicking my feet so THANK YOU for enjoying chapter 1 and the art so much--there's some details that may or may not get added in whenever i eventually make a third pass at writing this behemoth and i spent 6 hours slaving over that drawing LMAO SO i really appreciate you reading it AND telling me you enjoyed it im so EEEE

at this time, i'm not formally publishing / putting out paramour because its still very much a work-in-progress (essentially, i'm working on draft 2 right now bc i'm doing some major outline renovating, but tbh i'm thinking that when i DO feel like i'm at the point that i want to publish it, i'm kinda leaning towards a serial style like @/stjohnstarling's what manner of man... but those are details for several years from now, i'm just rambling at this point) BUT FEAR NOT!! its my main obsession at all times and i have posted a TON about it on my blog. but for your convenience, i've compiled all the 'main' writing bits that i've posted on this blog over the past several years into this ask so that way if you wanna just read the 'main' meat and potatoes that i've decided to release from the vault so to speak... then here they are.

Urraiy-Luera, World Anchor

An explanation of each panel, from left to right:

1 - A topographic map of a mountain range annotated to have been sometime in the past.

2 - Urraiy-Luera's hand holding sweeping 16 arrows into the same space.

3 - A shot of the mountains in the top left of the 1st panel emitting plumes of smoke, similarly in the past and labeled as belonging to Form Glutton Gierrot.

4 - Urraiy-Luera silhouetted by the sun while drawing a bow, a root like pattern flowing down into the mountain. The bow is comprised of the head of an Adamant pickaxe broken from its haft which was further broken into the arrows.

Central 5th Image - Urraiy-Luera releasing the bow, sending the arrows off as a shotgun blast which has quickly caused a sonic boom from its speed and caused plumes of dust to emerge from the mountain they are standing on. Gierrot's mountain is visible as the destination of the arrows.

6 - A cutaway diagram of the mountain Urraiy-Luera was standing on, demonstrating a series of faults in the mountain from the recoil of the shot. Text explains that the peak of the mountain is quarried for the magical properties of the stone.

7 - A repeat of the third image showing a massive plume of dust kicked up by the impact of the arrows on Gierrot's mountain.

8 - A trajectory diagram of the arrows shot by Urraiy-Luera, showing one exiting the atmosphere and becoming unrecoverable, while another plunged far enough beneath the ocean crust to enter the asthenosphere. Several are marked as recovered, with each individual arrow recovered later being forged into legendary weapons.

9 - A map similar to the first showing mountains in roughly the same position with the exception of a pair in the middle, the two maps can be compared below:

I’ll be upfront that I don’t make a habit of putting nsfw/smut content under a read more— sometimes I’ll do it out of the blue, if I feel shy about that particular post— And I’ll also gladly use them if a partner I’m writing with makes it clear they prefer for them to be used.

That being said— I do tag all (or at least a majority) of posts such as those with the tag {|Tonight's love affair is…: NSFW|}, and I also often make use of the content label for those posts as well (at least rp wise). While I won’t say either method is 100% adhered to, as we all make mistakes/off judgements— I try my best to at least stick to tagging what feels fitting.

Another thing I’d like to be clear about, is that I don’t often use trigger warning tags— simply because I either don’t often touch on topics that I feel need them, or because I usually don’t think about it— However, if you happen across a post you wish for me to add a tag to, then feel free to (politely, please) message me, and I’ll add a tag for you~.

The same goes for content we happen to write together, as if a topic you’re triggered by may come up when we write together, please let me know about said topic(s) beforehand— and I’ll do my best to be accommodating 💕

If I were to take Miss No More Landfills' and Mr. Zeppelin Boy's advice to walk Camo outside and shoot him, that wouldn't solve the pit bull problem. If I were to donate money to the idiots currently trying to raise money for Camo's old owner's bail (this man threw a dog on to concrete so hard that she died, then tried to hang Camo because his untrained dogs couldn't walk on a leash), that wouldn't solve the pit bull problem. Attacking people's pets online won't solve the problem.

It may make sick fucks online feel good, but it won't solve the problem.

You know what would?

Free spay and neuter. Mandatory insurance, licensing, and education on dog ownership. Strongly incentivizing breeders to breed for temperament and low prey drive in dogs. Not allowing rescues to warehouse and take dangerous dogs. Enforcing the dangerous dog laws already on the books.

But that's not as sexy as waxing poetic about how you want cops to go door to door killing people's pets or passing around trauma porn videos of dogs attacking people. That's actual work. That's getting your hands dirty and paying for the sterilization of another person's dog.

That's just not fun, but talking about how much you hoped it hurt when a dog strangled itself is.
