Before any romantic (or sexual) inclination they have in depth conversations about life, what the fuck they were doing with it, and things of that nature

The usual gossip spots are the sniper’s nest, camper (sniper’s real nest), and Spy’s smoking room

The fanciness of the smoking room deeply unnerves Sniper

Late one night, while they’re sitting and talking over culture shock coming to the US, Sniper mentions he grew up poor and feels like an imposter in bougie settings (which he says is more prominent in America)

That’s the last night they sit in the smoking room

Small gestures like that build the foundation for getting 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂. Spy is shockingly considerate and Sniper, while inexperienced, has a charming energy
