Another thing I’ve been thinking about, that I need: A Love Actually type movie, with a similar structure, a similar tone, and with a bunch of cool British actors, but everybody’s gay. And happy and alive in the end!

#ollie's log #I've already put together a cast from my lists #dames julie andrews and maggie smith as two ladies who've been married for 60 years and have a hobby of matchmaking #pythons john cleese and michael palin as two guys who worked together for 40 years and have lived together for over 50 but are not official #although everybody else sees it - still they don't need definitions to be basically 110% married #john hannah and colin firth as two guys about to celebrate their 25th anniversary when tragedy strikes (or so it seems)#(I really want that because I loved their scenes in 'the last legion' AND they've both played gay men who lost their partners #and everything was sad - I want an antidote for that)#jenna coleman and billie piper pining for each other but not initiating anything (and finally being brought together by the dames)#I haven't found stories for my other four couples yet but I'll think of something #(they are emma thompson/miranda richardson and jason isaacs/alexander siddig and keeley hawes/olivia colman...#...and rufus sewell/charles edwards with maybe another appearance by rowan atkinson as an angel)
