Yes she was still working two shitty jobs to make sure she was paying rent of the apartment she and her sister are living in. It wasn't easy, then again when was her life ever easy. After yet another ghostface attack that they survived, Sam was working at a bar and it was close to closing time. With her back to the door she heard the door open as she was cleaning some glasses and putting things away, slowly cleaning evertyhing.

After she and Tara killed the Bailey family they all went to the hospital to get checked up. Sam was done with the check up soon as she told Tara she was going outside to take a smoke and she will be back soon. Once she was outside she was leaning against the wall, grabbing a cigarette and was lighting in. Once again the survived a ghostface attack, she wiped out an entire family with her sister and she wasn't even sorry about it. The woman would do anything to protect her sister and the people she cares about. It was just a lot for her knowing it's all her fault that it happened once again. Gale, Chad and Mindy all three almost died even Kirby.

When she then heard someone as she looked up and saw a man approaching him as Sam frowned and then was taking out the lighter out of her pocket and handed it over to him. "Here."

Somehow his face looks familiar in a way and she just couldn't place it. Then again she was more focused and worried that her sister would be okay and the friends. And of course Gale, because she was the one who got hurt a lot and almost died and same for Chad. How he survived what he survived is beyond her. She sighed as she just doesn't know what to do, she doesn't want to leave New York because she wants Tara to get her degree and get her diploma.

The wind was blowing through her hair as she put her foot on the wall while she was smoking. God she needed a drink right about now.

the smell of cigarette smoke reminds him of jennifer.  it's a strange thing, the way old memories resurface with familiar circumstance. hell, the scent of blood in the bailey family murder-shrine by the time the carpenter sisters were done with them had brought back the memory of the taste of blood behind his teeth more strongly than he'd felt it in the last two and a half decades.

he watches sam closely for a moment, though much of the detail is lost by the darkening sky and the fact that she's backlit by the too-bright fluorescent lights of the hospital, looking for details, looking for billy. he'd seen the angry teenager he'd once known in that abandoned theater, albeit briefly. now, however, aside from the general cloud that reeked of troubled youth and trauma that hung over from her, it seemed that her heritage had retreated into the shadows.

the sensation of the cigarette filter against his teeth makes him cringe in displeasure, but it's a necessary evil, a plot device designed to get him closer without her throwing her guard up. after all, there's an inherent understanding when two people share a vice.

he steps out from behind a concrete column, looking somberly into the street, before making a show of patting down his pockets, before half turning his face to her,  "got a light?"

Two years ago she found out who her real father was, two years ago was when her 'dad' walked out on her and her sister. Her mom hated her at that point for some reason. Sam started to act out and started drinking and using drugs whenever she could and just partying, Sam was on her way home as she was at a party last night and it was a long night so she stayed at a friends place, knowing once she got home her mother would be pissed. Then again she had to watch her sister anyway since her mother had a work thing out of town. The moment Sam got home she was right about her mother being pissed, she couldn't be mad for too long, since before the teen knew it her mother told her to behave and left.

She sighed while rolling her eyes, making sure she was taking a shower first and then getting dressed. Tara then asked if she could go hang out with her friends, which she said was fine and her sister left. Not long after the teen heard the doorbell, getting up from the couch and walking up to the couch. "Tara, if you forgot something you know you have a key to the house." When opening the door she saw a man standing there as the brunette looked at the man standing there. "Can I help you? My mom isn't home, if you're here for her."

The woman was aware that today is her birthday and yet she didn't really think much of it. For her it was a normal day and didn't really wanted to celebrate it, don't think she has properly celebrated it since she turned thirteen probably. After that she didn't really celebrate it or didn't feel like doing so. Luckily, Tara understood and didn't made a fuss about it. It would be a little celebration with cake and that's about it. She still had to work, Tara had to go to classes. Her mother wouldn't even bother texting her happy birthday. Not that she cares about it, Sam was just doing her own thing today.

Collecting everything that she has before heading out to pick up the cake that Tara had ordered, Sam only had a short shift since they were short staffed and she just volunteered to help out for a few hours. Realising that she could maybe pick up the cake after her short shift, which she might be doing. When she heard her phone ring and saw it was an unknown caller ID as she sighed. Answering the phone. "Who's this?"

"Sidney asked to look after me? You know I am not a little kid or a teenager right? I'm an actual adult who can take care of herself. I am only here because my sister is in the hospital because she got stabbed seven times." Sam said to Randy when she was looking at him, tired of adults like him treating her like she isn't in her mid twenties. "Just because you're a horror movie expert doesn't make you an expert in this." The brunette said to the man, yes she knows he's the uncle of Chad and Mindy, she isn't stupid.

"It's Sam." she said as she didn't really like it when people call her Samantha as people has been calling her Sam her entire life, at least what she can remember. Rolling her eyes when she was looking at him. "I didn't needed to hear your whole life story, Mindy made sure everyone knew about it. Funny how you said you're Mindy's uncle, did you forget about Chad? Or is it because he isn't really into the horror movies."

She frowned as she folded her arms over each other, all Sam wanted was to be there for Tara and protect her. She already feels guilty that her sister go attacked after she hadn't seen or spoken to Tara in five years.

"that guy in the gorilla costume has been following us now, for ten blocks." (older randy to sam carpenter)

Sam was looking behind her to look at the guy in the gorilla costume as she was this close to just ask what that guy his problem was and to be fair she didn't even know why she was with Randy walking around in the first place. Sam then stopped walking turned around to look at the guy in that costume. "I don't know what you want, but stop following us. You have been following us for ten blocks now, do us all a favor and leave us alone." The guy was looking at them and then turned around and walked away. "That's what I thought." Sam then looked at Randy. "I don't really know you, why are you walking here with me? What I heard you couldn't stand my father. How do I know that can't stand me either because I am the daughter of Billy."

Folding her arms over each other while looking at the man, she wasn't afraid to just say what she thinks.

After the whole killing an entire family with her sister she was in the apartment cleaning and putting Quinn’s stuff in boxes to throw away. Tara was at the hospital visiting Chad. She just doesn’t know how to feel about this all, that with what everything they went through and it followed them to New York City. Hoping they could at least have a breather. Who was she even kidding, like that was going to happen. The feeling she felt when she killed Bailey was something else. It felt so good, and no she doesn’t want to be like her father. She can’t, she has to take care of her sister since they can’t really count on their mother. Mainly since Christina cut her off and Tara cut Christina off. 

Scratching the back of her head when putting the last thing in boxes and close them. When suddenly she heard her phone which made her jump up a bit. Taking her phone from the table as she picked up. “Hello?”

Sam was hanging out with Hayley since they’re best friends and since she had found out who he real dad was which means for her and Hayley to be sisters they were overjoyed. Then again she wasn’t really the greatest influence at times, Billy wasn’t home and that was also the reason why Sam was over there. Only for tonight to end up drunk as hell, somehow when Riley came home and saw his sister and Sam hammered he called Sam’s mom from her phone to ask if she can pick her up. “Dude, why did you call my mom. She and I are not on good terms. You know that.” Rolling her eyes as she sighed while keep on drinking. Not knowing that Billy would come home soon while she was here waiting for her mother to arrive to pick her up. 

Walking to the kitchen to grab another beer as she couldn’t find the stronger alcohol and she had the last beer. “Okay, you’re out of beer.” Opening the bottle of beer and taking a sip of it. Hearing the front door open as Sam was never here when Billy was or came home. The teen was looking at the man as this was awkward and not knowing how he would react to it. “Hi.” Was the only thing she said and right after Billy her mother arrived. ‘Samantha Carpenter’ Oh here we go. ‘At times I don’t know what to do with you.’ When then Christina saw Billy and didn’t know how to react. “I’m coming jeez.” Finishing the beer and put the empty bottle on the table. ‘I didn’t know Hayley and Riley are your kids. or that you and Sidney had kids together.’ Sam laughed softly. “Oh if he only knew.” She mumbled and saw the look her mother was giving her. “Wait my phone, I will meet you at the car mom.” With that her mother turned around to walk out the building to the car. 

Sam then went to the living room to grab her phone and jacket to put it on. “Sorry for drinking all the beer.” With that the teen walked out of the apartment.

Dewey still felt weak. But he also had felt a lot worse before so he thought he was doing fine for now. looking at Sam, he gave a small smile. “Can i give you some advice? Get the hell out of this town.” he said, a little sigh coming over his lips. He should’ve done it years ago. When Gale asked him to come to New York and he tried his best to adjust there. Well, he should’ve stayed at her side. He may would be able to still walk then. “I had the chance, but I came back. See where it brought me.” not only was he a total mess ever since the break-up with Gale. He nearly died too. Again. 

“I did. Gale was a little mad at me for going with the story but it seemed better that way. Letting the killer believe they did the job right.” he spoke. He smiled  a little more but nodded. “It’s my job… or it was. I couldn’t just leave you to your own.” he spoke. No, he would always help if he could. “Just don’t let any random boy into your life again. Could be a killer.” he said with a little grin. 

“Tara is going to college, so don’t worry. We will get out of this town.“ They only talked briefly about it, and Tara told her that Sam didn’t had to come along with her, then again where else would she be going. She laughed softly when Dewey said that. “Don’t worry, I don’t tend on dating anyone anytime soon. Call it trust issues. My main focus is Tara.” In her life it wasn’t going to be with boys. No she has learnt her lesson about that. Sam sighed as she was looking around in the room and then back at Dewey. “What are you going to do? I mean when you get discharged from the hospital? I am sure you have to be laying low.” 

Folding her arms over each other as she really was thankful for Dewey that he had helped her out, he didn’t had to and yet he did it anyway. Helping her out with making sure Tara was safe, would things ever be normal again, probably not. did she even expected to kill Richie? No, but somehow it also felt right in away.

To think whatever she had been going through a year ago would follow her and her sister to New York City. Yes she followed Tara to the city when she went to college and all the woman wants was to protect her little sister, did she expected to find someone after Richie? no she absolutely did not and then she met Danny and things just led to one another. Of course the rule, never trust the love interests, and somehow her sister and the twins weren’t surprised when she told them about her and Danny. She doesn’t want to bring other people into it, starting to believe it herself that this was all her fault.

“I keep on thinking, maybe this is all my fault.” Sam just couldn’t help it, it was taking a toll on her and of course everyone is dealing with it differently, and she can’t force her sister to go to therapy. At times like these she just really doesn’t know what to do anymore.

Sam was at work still at the damn bowling alley as she turned around and saw Letty standing there in front of the bar as the brunette frowned, while folding her arms over each other.

She wasn’t living in Woodsboro anymore and lived somewhere else together with Tara. Thinking they would be good to go from Ghostface and couldn’t she be more wrong. One night the Carpenter sisters got the infamous phone call and later they got attacked in their home. Sam right away grabbing the phone and quickly dialed in Billy’s phone number. Not quite sure if she could speak or whatever but it was the first thing to come up. Waiting for him to pick up. Hearing Tara scream. 

  “TARA!” Samantha ran up to the living room to jump in front of her sister and then she got stabbed and Sam screamed it out as she told Tara to run. Not noticing or knowing that Billy could probably hear everything that has been going on.

“The boyfriend… fuck I’m sorry that just hurts. It wasn’t the boyfriend for me but I guess the boytoy I strung along a bit too much.” Kirby says with a sad smile. She knows she shouldn’t say that it wasn’t her fault that Charlie had done all this shit. He made that choice himself he decided that instead of just making a move he would kill her for not agreeing fast enough. Now look which of them was dead.  “Well you came back for her and that’s all that matters.”

She shakes her head, “Sure no multiple person massacres but I’ve had some real freaks come after me. I’ve been attacked a couple times had a few people I thought were friends be freaky fans. I pretty much just hide at home these days. No one can figure out I live in the town if I don’t even leave my apartment right?” Getting groceries delivered having everything done under a fake name and working from home there was no way anyone even knew she existed let alone who she was.

“Yeah, it wasn’t really a fun thing. At least I made sure and told him before I killed him that he shouldn’t mess with the daughter of a serial killer.“ Sam chuckled as she just wished she could have seen the signs of Richie being the killer and only was using her. It was just a relationship that meant absolutely nothing. “When it comes down to my sister I would do anything.” Which was true even tho before she came back for Tara she hadn’t spoken or seen her for years. Which she still regret that she didn’t kept in contact with Tara. “You got that right for sure. I did hide too when I turned eighteen and left Woodsboro.”

it was the first time that she got attacked with the whole Richie and Amber stuff. And the fact it all brought memories back to Sidney and Gale because Amber’s place where Stu used to live. “But did even your parents didn’t know where you lived or?”

It had been some hectic years for Sam and she was actually glad the moment she turned eighteen was also the moment she left Woodsboro and her mom and sister behind. She didn’t regret leaving her mother but her sister yes. Sam couldn’t bare hurting Tara with the truth, the moment she found out who her real father was just hit her. She became more rebellious, breaking the law. Once she saw the opportunity she left, not wanting to stay in Woodsboro anymore. Besides it’s a town and people talk you know, still hoping no one would find out that she’s actually the daughter of Billy Loomis. Not something you would want to scream from the roofs right. Sam was working at a bowling alley as she was standing behind the bar. “Anything I can get you?”

She took a deep breath before she looked at Billy. “I wanted you to stay sober! I get it I don’t have any say in it because you are a freaking adult.” It took her back when she tried to get her hands on any drugs she could find the time she found out her dad wasn’t her dad at the age of thirteen. “I don’t need two parents who can’t stay sober. One is enough already.” Not that she cared about her mother since her mom hated her anyway. Sam also knew that well, it just happened that they came in each others lives. Sam can’t even remember how it all happened and yet here they are. “Do it for yourself, don’t you want your life kind of back on the rails again? I appreciate you stopped with the alcohol but come on, weed?”

All she wanted was to keep her sister safe and she was just at work having a late shift and making sure she was closing it all. Being back in Modesto was just weird especially since she left with Richie and came back with Tara. It still was something she had to sink through. The young woman did decided she will just stay single and focus on taking care of her sister.

“Go, I got this. Just need to clean up a bit.“ Sam told her colleague as he nodded and left. It took longer to clean up. When she suddenly heard the door opening and close. “We’re closed. Come back tomorrow.” Finishing her drink when she kept hearing noise. “Who’s there?” Placing her empty glass away.
