Not a culture ask, just wanted to chip in with my opinion ;-; (made small so it isn't a wall of text, sorry mods ;-;)

We're not against people using AI (like c.ai) in private for like coping mechanism stuff, its when its for publically posted fanart or like publically posted fanfics of stuff that it bothers and annoys us, does that make sense?

We have a lot of friends who use AI as coping mechanisms because they struggle with good interactions or rp's with people, or want it completely private for whatever reason, which is fair, but its when its posted publically like art or whatever that we personally are against, AI is bad for the planet and economy and artists/writers (especially fan-artists or fanfic writers), we arent arguing that, but when its in private for coping mechanisms, its *understandable/forgivable*. its when you're using it in place of actual artists and writers in public fandom spaces that it crosses the line imo, like, i understand it for getting ideas/inspiration but also like, use and idea/inspiration generator that *doesn't* use AI? Theres tonnes online?
