Y’all…… I rewatched A.P Bio and….. OMG I FORGOT HOW MUCH I LOVE IT!!! Grace, Devin, Jack, Mary, and Heather are my favorites! I wish they delved more into the whole Grace-Devin secret romance thing tho😭😭😭. Like when the whole class is shouting at each other about the chaos Jack caused(he’s just a little silly ok) you can hear Devin say ‘I don’t know what this is!’ To Grace and I need context rn! Soo… if anyone out there writes fanfic about A.P Bio…. PLEASE WRITE ABOUT THEM. WRITE ABOUT THEM AND MY LIFE IS YOURS 🧎‍♀️🧎‍♀️. Also Jack was such a cutie patootie, when the kids steal his bullies toe, he says ‘my babies! My sweet babies!’ And like-like-like AWWWW!!!!! Also the whole evil villain-sidekick dynamic between Jack and Heather was to DIE for!! And Heathers crush on Dan! And the way Heather seduced that Prarie Hick dude during the mechanical bull scene😱😱😱 Last thing, my ship name for Devin and Grace is Psychos Fear, because Grace is like a clinical psycho and Devin is like a Jonathan Crane-esque fear, darkness, anarchy nerd. It’s also a play on the Psychosphere line from ‘True Detectives’. Like just imagine Grace says some deranged thing and the whole class is like freaked out and Devins like ‘me too dude, me too’

Anyways all in all, an amazing show more people should watch it.

I keep seeing people call magenta a hitman or an assassin, which he is but. You don’t want to acknowledge he’s a fed too. There’s no proof of him being anything else but a fed, but there is also no proof against him not being some hired gun. I think it gives him more depth to see him as the assassin they called him.

Like, why’d he take that job? How did he GET it? Is he that loyal to the us? Is he doing it for protection? What’s his deal. This post revolves around Magenta being a REAL federal agent, not just a hired gun.

Ima be honest I have no confidence in my portrayal of any character ever so please don’t hurt me. I HAVE ONLY READ SBR ONCE, SPECIFIC CHAPTERS MORE THAN A FEW TIMES. Half of this was done under psychosis and over the course of a month, so some of this might not make sense or deraiiilll or repeat itseeelf. Ima keep this short for now.

My theory/headcanon is that he was just a really good sharpshooter, maybe where he grew up he ended up really desensitized to blood/gore/whatever. Maybe they caught him doing something, maybe he broke out of prison multiple times, maybe they tried to put him to death, maybe he LIVED (stando powa) and maaaybe they were like. Hey sign up for us, assassinate for us.

Listen, he’s in a position “people like him” very much usually aren’t. I like seeing him as a hypocrite. He was given the opportunity to leave behind the life he had, along with whatever he belonged to, and he took it. I haven’t seen people talk about who they think the “people like him” are, canon implied maybe lower class, uneducated people, the kind elite, upperclassmen like wekepipo weren’t, and the kind that Valentine has stated he hates multiple times. However, if I asked someone here in the fandom what they are, or more or less what magenta is, we’d all probably go ‘queer’ or ‘neurodivergent.’ During their fight together, Wekepipo constantly rips into Magenta for being whatever tf he is. The full quote is “that will stop you from treating people like me like shit.” Why does magenta assume Wekapipo does that? Is it because he is (or was) part of an elite? Magenta is a hypocrite, because so is HE. He’s a guard to the president, he’s part of the government that oppresses people like him. That’s the biggest trait of his, he’s a SUCK UP.

Howeverrrrr that “nothing to lose” line is EXTREMELY ambiguous, though he is one of the most ‘show don’t tell… or don’t even explain’ kind of characters in jojo. In canon, its probably because he lost his eye; he’d probably lose his job as one of the assassins, and then any other kind of hitman job is off the table. The exact same thing happened to Johnny when he lost mobility in his legs, so I’m gonna guess that’s where Araki was going with that. Taking everything else into account that I just said, he also has nothing left to go back to.

But THEN AGAIN he DID have something to lose, and that was Diego. Maybe in this moment he really did have nothing to lose or HELL nothing to live for, but the reason he didn’t try to free himself or kill himself in the river was because Diego might come save him. This honestly is evidence to him being very gullible or even desperate, just to be liked. Obsessive over validation and positive attention from people who are above him. “Easy to trust, horrible judge of character,” I’ve heard that phrase thrown around a bunch for him.

Diego was using him, maybe magenta knew this by now when he said he had nothing to lose, but then slipped back into denial when he got lost in the river. I don’t wanna break out the old “Hurt people hurt people” line (he’s doing it on purpose) but that’s a big thing with Diego too. He grew up poor, now he’s trying to be as elitist as possible, that includes manipulating Magenta. He did the same thing to Soundman, too. I read that somewhere in a Diego character study, the one post that ended up in the Magenta tag. If wanted I’ll find it and link it.

Going back to Magenta, all his stand does is protect HIM in the end, I think that’s a mindset he has, protection, and I think he assassinates for Valentine cause he wants protection. Something gave him a survival mindset, where he could only shelter himself. It only protects him, and being an assassin under Valentine brings him up to an important, less likely to be hurt level; hurt by other people, by the government, so he joined on the side of the government.

This is my big thing; Magenta is a class traitor.

In a way, he traded spots with Wekapipo. The other half of that, though; Magenta puts people on pedestals, and then believes all they can do is look down on him. They do, he just makes it even worse for his own perspective. Even though he’s finally up there in a respectable position, they still won’t respect him, THATS the thing he’s so fucked up over.

so i had my halloween party in may instead of october. because i figured, if people can have christmas in july, then why can’t i have halloween in may? it was a blast, to say the least. we had 18 people in the house, everyone came in costume.

i was thinking just now: “wait, if i had my october in may, then what month would be be right now?” so i ran the numbers and figured out that it is currently march 22nd, however:

because my february falls on real september, i can’t progress to march until real september finishes. this means, however, that my july gets a couple of days chopped off at the end.

alternatively i could just let my march continue at a normal pace? but then i would be off by a couple of days for a few months while the real world catches up.
