I think I saw this asked before, but I must have missed it somehow.. how would lair games in cc! go.. do they even do it at all? Would Donnie always win and feel babied by it?

i actually cant say for sure, because cc!donnie is afraid to put himself out there and get confident, these days. they'll try and push if they think he can take it, but winning makes him feel exposed and losing makes him feel insecure. he tries to lock himself into his own comfort zone and hunker down instead of attempting to prove himself, especially for sillier friendly competition (god... he just like me fr). he's afraid to be Perceived, mostly. i dont even think he would want to participate in the lair games at all at first. he might be happy doubling as a referee with splinter if they cant manage to get him to do it, and that might be the case the first time around. (he might have fun with that though!)

but i think eventually he'll want to participate, maybe in their second year post-curse. they're not going to go any easier on him but they're gentler with their ribbing. i cant say if donnie will win, prolly not, but i dont think he'd get last and what's most important that he'll have a good time. eventually they'll manage to coax his old competitive side out of him, and they go out of their way to give him a lot of support and encouragement. he's not gonna gloat in their face when he wins a challenge, but he'll be really giddy and proud of himself and that's what they care about.
