I have been doing everything but playing WCUE like I planned to. I will now play WCUE and make new morphs.

Welcome to my Australian fanclan Bottlebrushclan! Back, back, back when I was first coming up with these characters there was actually three fan clans Gardenclan, Hollowclan and Duneclan but the other week I had this idea instead!

Basically each of the three camps have roughly the same population size as a clan in the real series but these camps/clans work more as neighbouring towns then warring factions.

Moving freely between the clans territories and having relationships is normalized, loyalty is still a bit of a thing but in more of a “our football team is better than yours” or a “our towns food is the best” kind of attitude.

I also started using that one leader naming convention that I’ve mainly seen used in rewrites, Star “name” cause I think it’s neat! Also the healer’s are called Doctors now cause I like the sound of it! The Leaders, Deputies and Doctors are part of the Bottlebrushclan council that work together whenever needed.

I actually have already drawn the characters of Gardenclan/camp years ago if you wanna see, a few names changed tho. Another thing is that Bottlebrushclan is located near the Coast of Western Australia!

The Camps of Bottlebrushclan

The Gardens camp is situated in and around an abandoned house with bush to one side and fields to the other. The house has a massive garden all around it including fruit trees, garden beds and the garden camps most important source of food and trade, The Chicken Coop, where the cats have been farming chickens and eggs for generations now.

The Dunes camp lives right next to the beach and source of food and trade is ocean related such as seafood, seabirds, seaweed and salt, you have a flea outbreak? Get in the ocean. The main thing all the cats sleep under is an abandoned old wooden boat, I might make it two boats or maybe a canoe. They make a lot of contraptions to catch fish! They even collect and use bait.

The Hollows camp is located in a dense section of bush a bit away in a protected forest, its main camp is a carefully planned area to protect them against things such as bushfires, snakes, birds of prey and feral pigs. I haven’t fully thought their camp through yet tho, but they do live near a road which they check almost daily for road kill, if the animal is too yucky to eat they use the meat to farm maggots, which they eat and trade to the other camps (Garden camp for the chickens and Dune camp for fish bait.)

Tuckerpaw (she/her) - Named after the Tucker tree! She’s an only kits and her mum Rosemoth is very protective of her since her father died a little bit too protective and it’s starting to get on the nerves of Tuckerpaws mentor Minteyes.

Palepaw (they/them) - Doctor Darkrose’s apprentice and adopted kit! They fit right into the family and are loved very much. Palepaw has a love for magpies and will often be found feeding them. They are the oldest out of the apprentices.

Fairypaw (he/him) - Fairypaw is named after fairy penguins! He was born with out his left front leg because of complications his mother Skippyfoot had while pregnant, his original name that I gave him was Mistpaw but the I decided I wanted to make the clan Australian and I couldn’t pass on the chance to name him after the fairy penguin.

Pipipaw (she/her) - is a quiet but not shy little cat, like her brother she was born smaller than average, her original name was Sardinepaw. Her design is the one I’m most unsure about so she’s still on the drawing board.

Star Honeytoes (she/her) - Is the youngest of the leaders and is a bit of a nepo-baby oof. Her mother was the leader before her and so was her great-grandmother… and her great-great aunt… but she doesn’t really want to continue this tradition and her only living relative in the garden camp is her grandmew Bumblepatch, if she ever has kittens she probably wouldn’t encourage them to become leader.

Peaclaw (he/him) - is mad Honeytoes was made deputy and then leader over him, Honey isn’t the best at planning but she has the personality and good people skills, she made Peaclaw the deputy for his planning skill (and because she felt bad) but truth be told he was never good at working cooperatively with clan mates, his two littermates aren’t the closest to him on account of his nasty attitude lately and we don’t talk about his history with Potatopad…

Peachleaf (she/her) - Peachleaf is probably my oldest warriors OC! She is my baby <3 also she is girlfriends with Darkrose! Her mother Cloversong lives with her in Bottlebrushclan the Gardens camp, while her father Momo and two littermates Cupcake and Muffin live as house cats. Is good friends with Honeytoes before and after she became leader.

Star Numbattail (she/they) - Runs a tight ship in her clan, there are many dangers living in the bush and she refuses to let her clan be eaten up by them. Gets along with the other leaders but the camps of the Garden and the Dunes are far away from the Hollow camp so it’s hard to ask for assistance all the time.

Coppershine (xe/xem) - Snarky little shit but unfortunately xer good at xer job, there’s no getting rid of xem lol

Darkrose (she/her) - Comes from a very big family, adopted Palepaw as a kit when she found them on the side of the road wrapped in a green cloth, has a parent/older sibling relationship with Palepaw.

Star Coralskip (he/him) - Old man Coralskip! A jolly old man and is the oldest leader, his mates are Pinkshell and Gullweed and his daughter Sandmask just had two kits!

Tussockwatcher (he/him) - looks scary but is actually a great deputy, his mother Jellyfisheye is very proud :3

Gullweed (xe/him) - chill guy, is Coralskip’s hubby. Would probably smoke weed if he was human.

I have been thinking about this for some time and I would love to hear your opinion about this : if Saeran's MC was male, would he experience some form of internalized homophobia? I'm assuming neither in the Minteye or at the Cathedral he has seen any type of same sex attraction or just any type of queer existence, so I wonder if this would later on make him feel like he is 'different'? Or would it make him hesitate to come out to Saeyoung or anyone in the RFA? Maybe if they're not being already treated like a couple as in canon, just seen as friends throught the AE? I know Saeyoung is queer and a lot of people (me included!) headcanon other members to be queer, if he had no knowledge of this, how would this realistically affect him?

That is quite the long ask, I'm sorry for that but I just love the way you analyse characters and how much you care about them. Also, if there's any mistakes or typos, please excuse that, english is not my first languege. Thank you so much

That's an interesting question to think about. Would he experience some sort of internalized backlash?

Honestly, in my opinion, I don't think so. Internalized homophobia stems from being forced into a world that constantly hammers home that you're "bad" for not fitting the mold they want you to fit. If you're not taught or shown the bias these people experience, you're far less likely to experience any internalized shame. How can you feel bad or ashamed if you were never taught to feel that way? If you don't know about the bigotry, why would you ever feel bad?

Just speaking from experience here, I didn't begin to experience any shame or fear about my sexuality until I reached middle school and I had to deal with different kids slinging slurs at my head that I didn't understand and hadn't ever heard before. I didn't know what any of the words they were calling me meant, but I understood they thought those words were "bad" and used them to hurt my feelings because they didn't like me for one reason or another, and figured using those slurs would hurt me because "other" is bad.

I hadn't even figured my feelings out yet but people began to single me out and call me words I won't repeat. It took me until a little later to figure myself out but having kids pull my hair and call me slurs did not help. They made a journey that should've been safe for me into a difficult experience that made me fearful for my safety. Unlike other kids who were "allowed" to have crushes and experience all kinds of firsts, I felt singled out. Othered. I knew I would never be able to have a "normal" experience like teenagers did in the movies and it crushed me.

All because I wasn't straight. All because I was "different". The world makes young people feel like they're "wrong" if they don't fit these bullshit molds based around bigotry, homophobia, and misreadings of the bible used to further someone's hate agenda. The more you're forced to live in a society where you're told you're "wrong", the more you might start to feel horrible about who you are as a person and I'm angry we still live in a world that does this to young people. I'm angry it's happening to our trans family as we speak.

Kids are not born with biases. They are taught these biases at home, even if they don't understand them at first. Bigotry is TAUGHT and it comes from their guardians and the people around them who talk all about other people in monstrous ways in front of them. These things are normalized for the kids over time and they learn to be just as cruel as their guardians.

Saeran was not raised around these biases. He spent so much of his life locked up in a room with his twin brother where the world could not reach him. His life experience is so much more limited than the one his brother has experienced. Saeyoung got to experience a lot of the world because of the deal he made with the agency, and through that, he was able to learn more about his own sexuality!

He had the language he wouldn't have had before because he got to go out into the world and learn more about himself. I'm sure having a word for his bisexuality felt like such a relief. He had a word to finally describe his heart. I'm glad Saeyoung was able to get that even if he's the type of person who holds himself back when romance knocks so much of the time because he's self-sacrificial. But, it will never change the fact that he's bisexual and his MC could be anyone.

For Saeran, I've always imagined that he has fantasized about having a prince, princess, or a knight to come and save him. It felt as easy as breathing. He wasn't taught to believe otherwise. Nothing in his diary implied the cathedral he was attending was spewing homophobia at the front door! He went there for classes and to play in the gardens... and in my mind, was never exposed to people saying that it would be wrong to love more than just a princess. (I HC him biromantic demisexual, btw).

In fact, it's probably stranger for him to see someone be a bigot.

Why are you angry about someone loving another person? What's wrong with love? This isn't to say Saeran hasn't come across hate speech before. I'm sure in his time studying the RFA and more about the world they live in he's never been allowed to know, he's seen and encountered things he never expected to learn about otherwise. That could cover any subject. That could be any piece of information in this world. Bigots exist everywhere in this world, unfortunately, so it's not impossible to say Saeran's seen someone be cruel.

But, Saeran has a very kind, gentle heart. He has no reason to feel ashamed about who he loves or who other people love. It's people who bring hatred to the world that bothers him. Even if he did feel internalized shame, that shit would go out the window once he knew who he was and that his MC would always love him. Nothing will ever make him feel like he's wrong for being himself after he has the day of peace where he reclaims his sense of autonomy.

Bring on the fight if need be. He isn't afraid of fighting people who have wicked hearts. You will not tell him he can't be himself because you don't like it. He's already fought that battle his entire life. He can handle your nonsense and tell you to screw off if you think he's a bad person for loving his partner. He's kind to a fault but he will not put up with hatred. He's not a pushover.

I don't think he'd hesitate to tell the RFA that he's with his male MC romantically, either. The RFA is accepting. Contrary to what I see from bitter homophobes who think they have the "right" opinion on the RFA, the RFA is a found family that loves one another no matter what. If you're queer, you belong with them. It doesn't matter what you HC the RFA as specifically, at the end of the day, you being queer will not stop you from being a part of their family. You'll get support down to the letter. No hesitation.

The only bigotry I think you're going to encounter is from Saejoong Choi, but that's to be expected because he seems like the type as a noted conservative politician who prides himself on "family values". The game makes some of his politics and views pretty clear as you're playing through Another Story.

Oh, and another thing, just because people try to erase our existence as queer people by attempting to eradicate any mention of us being ourselves and simply existing doesn't mean they'll succeed. You can attempt to raise a child "far away" from queerness but that won't stop them from being queer if they are. Being queer is not a thing you just choose one day. We're born this way and there's nothing wrong with us. But! There is everything wrong with people who think we need to change to suit their bigotry. They're the ones that need to change.

You can try to withhold language and history from someone but that won't stop them from being who they are. Even if you don't have the words to describe what you're feeling, you'll know what you're feeling isn't what they're trying to sell you as "normal" and that can never be erased.

For Saeran, I can only imagine his heart breaking when he realizes how deep this world is coated in hatred but he will fight every day to be kind to counteract this hatred. That's his strength, after all. To be kind when the world says otherwise. That's his act of rebellion to the people who want him to lay down and die. No. He will choose to be kind and continue on his way because he deserves to be happy and alive, just as much as anyone else.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get Rika to work either. "Rika", "Serena", "SerenaKim", "Mina", "Saviour" and "Mika" all did nothing.

Using the other characters full names "HyunRyu", "YoosungKim", "JihyunKim", "SaeyoungChoi" also does nothing.

And mentioning the cult "MintEye", "Magenta" also leads to no new achievements.

I'm curious whether there are any I've missed.

OK SO apparently if you change your name in The Ssum to a certain something, you get an achievement in the Trivial Features.

Hi, i think i have sent this ask before, but I can't find it on your profile and I'm not sure now if I have actually sent it or not (if youre not answering for a reason or have posted it already and I can't find it, I am sorry for sending it again)

What would happen in a scenario where a child suddenly falls into post-Saeran-AE!Choi twins and MC's life? Maybe a kid (perhaps a girl? Saeran would be such a girl dad) who was in the Minteye and knows Saeran, or a kid who magically appeared on their doorstep, perhaps a lost third (half) sibling. I'd enjoy anything, if theyre not MC's and Saeran's biological kid and they meet when the kid is already above toddler age (I'm thinking around 6-12).

Mint Eye didn't take in young children as far as we're aware. They target people who feel like they're at their wit's end, the lowest of the low, looking for a place that will accept them when the world won't do that. At worst, some of the victims are likely young adults, barely able to call themselves adults at all, considering Saeran was roughly 18-19 when Rika whisked him away from the cathedral. So, any idea of that nature is not remotely plausible to me.

The number of members in Mint Eye can be anywhere from triple to quadruple digits depending on the timeline you're in. There are more of them in Casual and Deep Story, whereas there's a smaller number in Another Story because she's still in the process of building the cult to the place it would be if MC hadn't been directly brought to Mint Eye. As far as the identities of the victims, like I said, you can assume the victims are across the board.

My assumption has always been a huge pool of people from the ages of 18-60, both in members and in people Rika has employed to help her run the damn place. Rika doesn't discriminate, she just... wants people who would follow her to hell so she'll never have to be afraid of people abandoning her for not being an "angel". Most of the people she's brought into Mint Eye come from the pool of those that she's encountered while volunteering and doing work for the RFA.

There is no common denominator between believers except "societal outcast" and "preys on the vulnerable". Either you're helping Rika hold people down because she asked for your muscles, creating the elixir at her side since she couldn't do that alone, or you're someone stuck in Mint Eye's system and can't get out now that you're trapped. It's... not a pretty picture.

Now, we've never had confirmation of this outside of assumptions and bare minimum game data, but it's widely assumed in the fandom that Saeyoung and Saeran have half-siblings. I don't believe that they have siblings that were fathered similarly to them, however. We are all familiar with how much Saejoong detests the "stain" both of his sons bring to his "picture-perfect family man" identity.

It's implied that he had a fling with Mother Choi somewhere near the start of his career in politics. We sincerely don't know the who, what, where, when, or why of it but we do know he wasn't deep enough into his career where he considered this a problem he couldn't just throw money at. He threw money at Mother Choi to keep her quiet, but he also had enough means behind him to have people follow her around just in case she slipped up and he could get rid of her and the boys.

It's hard to assume a lot of details here, but what I can say is he's not the kind of man to repeat something he considers a "mistake". I have assumed from the start that he married someone who fit the lifestyle of his career choice, a woman of status and means, who was willing to bow her head and have children with him to ensure her means of success as well. He isn't the kind of man who marries for love, we can tell that from how he scoffs at Saeran and MC in the RAE.

So, I think he has a marriage of convenience that works for him and his official wife. People assume he's a nice, orderly family man and it helps the bullshit he's trying to sell. He likely has one or two children he considers his as well. These children are younger than Saeran and Saeyoung, but as to how much younger, I don't know for sure. I would assume the oldest they could be would be younger than them by a few years, so think (14-17.)

I've considered how Saeran and Saeyoung would feel about those kids in the past. Saeyoung wanting nothing to do with them because they may be sympathetic to Saejoong. He doesn't hate them, but he can't risk being around anyone who might see Saejoong as a man who deserves anything but hatred. Saeran wanting to understand him to find closure is one thing, but he doesn't want to risk being told that Saejoong was a "good father" by someone who will never understand what he and Saeran suffered.

Saeran is far more willing to open the door to his half-siblings because he can stomach certain things his brother can't. He knows they experienced a different trauma from him, and he wants to be there for him if they want to be there for him. Saeyoung wants the door closed because he feels nothing but hatred for Saejoong, but Saeran is willing to crack open that door for other victims. It doesn't make one twin "better" than the other, it just shows they have a very different mentality on peace of mind. Good for them for establishing boundaries.

However, considering what I just mentioned about the kids Saejoong considers "legitimate"—I think they'll be okay as long as their mother isn't an entirely bad person, too. I don't know if the mother would be okay with the twins interacting with them, or if she would ever let the group interact in any capacity. I can't imagine these kids would end up in Saeran or Saeyoung's care, that's for sure! It's nothing on these boys, but they just earned established identities, and deserve time to exist freely on their own. No court would shove these kids at them.

However, I will say out of these scenarios, Saeran or MC can stumble across a child in a difficult situation. He already mentioned that he wouldn't mind adopting or fostering in the future if that's something you would be interested in! So, of course, if you want to imagine this outcome, you've got canon to back you up here. Saeran comes across as a girl dad, but even if he had a son, he would be the best boy dad, too!

I'd say there would need to be more specifics to say what would or wouldn't happen, but I assure you Saeran and MC would make the most wonderful parents together. Saeran sneaks them extra scoops of ice cream after dinner, MC pretends not to see that, Saeran gives them every blanket in the house to make a fort, and MC brings all the pillows so it's comfort, and so forth. There's no bad outcome here.
