Stalkers and Cryptids
Incorrect Quotes #3
Tim: There is no future. there is no past. do you see? Time is simultaneous, an intricately structured jewel that humans insist on viewing one edge at a time, when the whole design is visible in every facet.

Danny: All I asked was if you wanted to cut your birthday cake first.

Danny: An optimist sees light at the end of the tunnel.
Bernard: A realist sees a freight train.
Wes: The train driver sees three idiots standing on the tracks.

Danny: You were stabbed. Do you remember anything?
Bernard: Only the ambulance ride to the hospital.
Danny: That wasn't an ambulance, I drove you.
Bernard: But I heard a siren.
Wes: That was Tim.
Tim: Sorry, I got nervous.
0000000000
Bernard: What if people had food names and food had people names?
Danny: Hey, spaghetti, we're having Wes for dinner.
Wes: What is wrong with you people?
Tim: Shut up, chocolate.

Bernard: Can you reach comfortably for the cupboards?
Wes: We live in constant fear of the short ones who, in my experience, will climb four chairs, two boxes, a small coffee table, and six oddly placed stools to get what they want.

Wes: Christmas is cancelled.
Tim: You can't cancel a holiday.
Wes: Keep it up, Tim, and you'll lose New Year's too.

Random compliment but, you're so good at building!! đł and the decorations always look perfect/lived in without being too much either.
If you feel like answering, how do you get inspiration for your builds? Interested in your thought process đ€
This made my day. Thank you so much. Although I do have one or two builds that are a maximalist wet dream, I know that decor style is for a small niche.
I think back to model homes I've visited and keep them in mind when cluttering for builds I'm uploading for the public. For my personal builds, I consider the sim's personality when building. I do use Pinterest, Lemon8, and IG for inspiration though. I follow a lot of Artists, home decor, and food blogs. So I get to see all kinds of beautiful rooms, kitchens, etc, and use them for inspiration. When I start a build I may or may not look at a floor plan. It just depends on what it's for. When decorating I go in and add all the basics for spatial awareness. Then from there I pick a room and focus on it until it's complete then use it as a base for the rest of the house. Color is the main driving point though. I pick one or two colors and run with them. That's pretty much it.
Side note I really wish more build buy cc creators would use bold vibrant colors in their color palette, for those of us who don't like the muted colors. I also love patterns, prints, and textures. Give me jewel tones, primary and secondary colors, and a true black swatch #000000.

Whatâs your favorite color?
i don't really have a favourite colour so much as favourite colour combinations, though purple is pretty much a winner in every shade/hue, and phthalo green is enchanting. favourite combinations include #f2a4d3 with #646464, #730000 with #000000, and #000d55 with #f3f355. i tend to prefer cool colours as jewel tones. warm colours are split between floral palettes (which i prefer pastel) and autumnal palettes (which i prefer rich).

D&D au: The fighter joins
(And so we get our next party member The fighter Wayne all the way from @nightwonder7 .Iâm having fun with this au. Think I might sit here a bit longer.XD)
She sighs. âAnd can you tell me why we are camping outside of town now?â
Waylyn just grinned like what just happened wasn't that big. âProbably because I stole that ladyâs jewels. I did leave her some nice flowerâs though.â
She could only laugh nervously considering what happened. They barely got into town before she had to get Waylyn out of the stockade. He actually would have gotten away with it too if he didnât leave that note.
I didnât even have time to ask about Vincent or even about the kingdom. He means well...I think.
âLook, if you get the urge to take something come to tell me. I can point you to some really grumpy people you can take from.â
He just looked at her with eyes almost as wide as a puppy. âAre you really ok with this?â he asked.
She just smiled as she passed the blanket. âItâs your habit. Besides, I know others who have worse habits. Itâs that bad.â
We can just have him sneak back into town before moving on. If he keeps out of sight from the guards then it should be fine.
She looked up and heard something off. It was quiet, almost like something was scaring the animals.
Itâs like something scarier is making its way through. Letâs just wait it out. We should be ok still this close to town.
0000000
They both woke up at dawn to something growling very close by.
âHey back off!â
They didnât have to go far to see a massive boar though what was really impressive was the blond man trying to attack it with a shovel.
She whistled as she took out her bow and really took in this pig. This was way bigger then she was used to. Makes her wonder what else is different in maxwellâs kingdom.
âSo what do you think Waylyn?â She asked her companion as he got out his daggers.
He grinned. âIâm thinking we got breakfast.â
âI honestly donât care. Can at least one of you help?!â
Right I forgot, heâs fighting this thing with a shovel. I should get him looked after once this is done.
She fired off a few arrows to distract it so its attention was more focused on her. Though she instantly regretted not finding a good perch first. It was good she was able to dodge before it tried to ram her.
Remember, I shoot arrows. Find a place to shoot your arrows first.
It didnât last long before Waylyn grabbed on to itâs back and started stabbing with his daggers. He was drooling the entire time.
The blond man smiled as he saw the pig fall dead. âWow, you guys just make it look like it was no big deal.â
She just grinned as she put away her bow. âI think we just got lucky, but I think this was more of a fact to not underestimate his stomach.â
Waylyn just grinned as he heald up the boars head. âCan we eat it?â
000000
As they shared the cooked boar with the man He stopped to tell them what exactly happened before they found him like that.
It was a good thing that I picked up a little magic. No serious injuries have been a blessing in disguise.
âI was just trying to finish my work and then that thing came out of nowhere. It was weird, the animals never used to act aggressive like that before.â
So things are weird even by this land. What is Maxwell doing to this place?
She sighed. âWell, you ok now. Do you have anywhere you need to go? We can help you get there if you like.â
I mean we have time. It wouldnât be too much trouble to have him come along for a bit.
He smiles. âReally, that would be great. Iâm actually traveling to meet up with my friend Whyatt.â
âWell the more the marrier. Iâm Veronica and the hungry teen over here is Waylyn.â She points over to the rouge as he was still eating.
He does know he can swallow right? Though we might just want to save some of that meat for later.
âIâm Wayne, thanks for letting me tag along.â He extends his hand and she shakes it.
Well, Iâm just meeting people left and right. Though I have a feeling things aren't gonna be that easy from this point on.
I have gotten myself into quite the mess with this trip, havenât I Wil.

Jewels of Indian Royals Chapter 2

Mir Osman Khan, the last Nizam
Jewels of the Nizam of Hyderabad
At the time of its annexation, Hyderabad was the richest of the Indian states. It was ruled by the Nizam-al-mulk ie order of the realm. The Nizams were descended from two of the most prominent families of the Mughal court.
The last Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan , was widely believed to be the richest man in the world in his time. His collection of jewels is the most expensive collection in present day india.
Some of the most renowned articles include 173 peices of jewellery comprising 347 individual peices including finger, toe and earrings, arm bands, belts, buckles, bracelets, necklaces and unset gemstones
The Jacob diamond, 184.75 carats, oval and flawless, reputed to be the 5th largest diamond in the world, is worth approximately $57, 000000 in the international market. Legend has it that the last Nizam used the Jacob diamond as a paperweight. The diamond was believed to have originated in the Jagerfontein mine in South Africa.

Duchess of Cambridge wearing Nizam of Hyderabad necklace
Satlada, a seven strand necklace , Burmese rubies and an emerald headpeice called Chintak Zamarrud are other worldfamous jewels of the Nizam's collection. Baglus Almas , a turban peice, is an exquisite jewel belonging to the Nizam's unfathomable treasury.
The Nizam of Hyderabad necklace is a diamond necklace gifted to Queen Elizabeth II on her wedding by the erstwhile Nizam. The Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted wearing the same on a couple of formal occasions
After the last Nizam passed away, the Government of India acquired the famed collection following a long legal tussle with the heirs. The entire collection is currently with the Indian government and lies in the vault of the Reserve bank of India.

Diamonds in the Rough
Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Donât be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows (Luke 12:7).
I wonder what God sees as He walks around you.
Iâm sure He sees beautiful things in you, but you are believing what other people are saying. People say: âYou are no good. Youâll never be somebody.â But God is saying: âI see a jewel.â We are diamonds in the rough. Just keep on believing that. Keep on moving forward to your goal. Remember that there is something in you more precious than what others have said about you. The sculptor never gives up until he gets out of the rock what he sees.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
I have a sculpture in my home that isnât what I intended it to be because as I was chiseling, part of it was knocked off by too much pressure. Consequently, I could no longer create the image I had intended. So I walked around it thinking, âIâve gotta change my concept a little.â I had to rethink how to retain the beauty of the sculpture though I had lost an important part of the wood.
"God can bring beauty out of your mistakes."Â Â -- Myles Munroe
Eventually, I modified my design. But I am the only person who knows that. People have admired that piece of wood saying, âWow! This is beautiful.â And I never tell them that what they see is not what they were originally supposed to see.
That piece of sculpture sitting in my home reminds me of your life and mine. Parts of our lives have been knocked off by our past. Weâve done some dumb things that have messed up the beauty God intended. But look what God has done. Heâs saved us. Instead of discarding us because we have not turned out like He intended us to be, He has taken usâincluding our marred and chipped and rusted and knocked off pastâand formed us into something beautiful.
When people look at you and think you are the best thing that ever came down the pike, donât tell them what you used to be. Just say, âThank you very much. The Chief Sculptor had His hands on me.â

Zac Brown Band Talks Bourbon, ZZ Top Celebrates Beer Drinkers And Hell Raisers As Bourbon And Beyond 2019 Comes To A Close

Zac Brown Band closes out Bourbon and Beyond 2019. Sunday, September 22, 2019 in Louisville, Kentucky
As summer time winds down, the Hometown Rising, Bourbon and Beyond and Louder Than Life music festivals carry renewed vacationer curiosity to Louisville, Kentucky throughout three consecutive September weekends.Â
Bourbon and Beyond drills down on meals and beverage along with nice stay music, however options just a little little bit of the whole lot thatâs carefully related to the âBluegrass State.â
âWe love finding ways to reach out to folks and sort of interpret baseball through all sorts of different lenses, especially to sort of broaden the story of it a bit. Whenever thereâs some type of pop culture way to draw baseball in, weâre all about that,â defined Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory Vice President and Executive Director Anne Jewell.Â

âWe are so proud that the cityâs name is in our name. We know that we are ambassadors for the city and we donât take it for granted,â mentioned Jewell. âOur factory tour is the real deal â this isnât a fake factory. We are the only place in the world where these baseball bats are made and youâre walking right through the heart of our production line. We just renovated our factory tour, so itâs a whole new experience. And our next stop is renovating our galleries and our store. Even if youâve been to our place before, itâs a new experience if you come back. You donât have to be a big baseball fan to enjoy it.â
Bourbon and Beyond entered its third 12 months in 2019 and Louisville Slugger has partnered with the music pageant since its inception, creating distinctive mementos and experiences for followers and artists alike.Â
âWe give each act in the lineup a black and silver Louisville Slugger bat thatâs customized with the Bourbon and Beyond logo in silver. Then itâs personalized with their names. For some of the real iconic performers â the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers and so on â we also create customized bats. Theyâre real works of art that sort of fit each artistâs vibe and groove and style,â Jewell defined. âWe ask the artists to sign those and then we add them into our music superstars collection, which features musicians like Bob Dylan and Stevie Wonder and Carrie Underwood. Then we bring those out for our guests. When they come visit us, we have them out on display and folks get a chance to hold them and know theyâre holding something that was in the hands of their rock and roll heroes.â
Baseball was on full show Friday night time on the Bourbon and Beyond stage as John Fogerty carried out his baseball targeted 1985 hit âCenterfieldâ on a baseball bat formed guitar, a model of which has discovered a everlasting dwelling within the Baseball Hall of Fame.
âWe made an amazing bat for John Fogerty this year. Itâs sort of outfitted with a traditional look but has a smoky, flame brand to it which really brings out the deep wood grain. We had sort of a red, white and blue stars and stripes logo for him with his arched John Fogerty logo. We canât wait to get our hands on that after heâs signed it and put it out for folks to see,â Jewell mentioned. âEven folks who arenât that big of baseball fans but are music fans, we get a chance to tell them a little bit of the story of baseball too.â

Anything you use white wine in, almost, you can use bourbon in,â Hamlin advised Forbes backstage Sunday afternoon. âLately Iâve been taking different barrel ash and using it for curing fish or turning it around and doing brines with it. You can incorporate that ash into a brine and it really, really helps to bring out the flavor. But, when it comes to infusing anything from sauce to ice cream, you can definitely use bourbon.â
Hamlinâs cooking for the band options bourbon in a wide range of methods and Zac Brown Band multi-instrumentalist John Driskell Hopkins and bassist Matt Mangano are each followers of the spirit.
âIâve been hanging out today with Angelâs Envy and with the Pappy Van Winkle group. And theyâre friends and theyâve got a long Louisville history together with families stretching hundreds of years making these amazing whiskeys. Itâs great to see the families come together and this unity behind a product that everyone all over the world can enjoy,â mentioned Hopkins backstage.Â

âI enjoy the bourbon,â Mangano advised Forbes. âHaving a bourbon is historically a gentlemanâs drink and it sort of brings people together who might not normally sit together. You can sit down at a bar next to somebody and strike up a conversation about your bourbon. Itâs just a fun social idea to hang out and have a whiskey and to be surrounded by so many different craftsmen too,â he continued, noting the pageant environment.
Zac Brown Band was a success Sunday night time working up their fiddle-fueled tackle cuts like âKnee Deepâ early, finally working in covers ranging anyplace from Charlie Daniels Band (âDevil Went Down to Georgiaâ) or Kings of Leon (âUse Somebodyâ) to Dave Matthews Band (âToo Muchâ).Â

Jewelry-Making for Beginners: Cords, Ribbons, and Laces; a Guest Post from Divya N
As I work through this series on Basic Jewelry-Making, there are going to be subjects on which my knowledge is limited. When I covered materials for jewelry-making, cording was an area that I left somewhat open. Divya from Jewels of Sayuri has kindly offered to guest post and fill in some of those blanks. Thanks to Divya! Here we go!
Of Cords, Ribbons and Laces
The secret to unique jewelry designs is in how you select and put together materials. Apart from beads of various shapes and sizes, supplies that can significantly alter the look of your designs and add pizzaz to them are stringing materials. Stringing materials can be majorly classified as wire, cord, ribbon, lace and thread. Hope had previously covered wire classifications. In this post I will be covering those that come under haberdashery trims.Â
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 14.0px 'Trebuchet MS'} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 14.0px 'Trebuchet MS'} span.s1 {font-kerning: none} span.s2 {text-decoration: underline ; font-kerning: none; color: #0433ff}
Before we begin to source these materials, we must understand the difference between cords, ribbons, laces and yarn as these words are commonly interchanged.Â
Cord
A Cord is a strong linear yarn like material that is normally round or square in cross-section. A cord can be plain or braided and it could be with or without stitching on one side. Cords could have a core material that is enveloped by an outer covering. A round leather cord or Regaliz (Portuguese Cork cord) enveloped by cotton fabric are good examples.Â
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 14.0px 'Trebuchet MS'} span.s1 {font-kerning: none}
Cords are used to string beads and pendants or used as tieups. Popular jewelry making cords include cotton cords, hemp cords, satin cords (rattail), and leather cords. Paracord (Nylon Parachute cord) is often used to make bold macramé bracelets. Newer entrants to the market are denim cords, velvet cords and silk fabric cords.

Lace
A Lace is a flat (sometimes ruched) elaborately decorative trim that could be woven, knitted, or made using non woven techniques like crochet or needlepoint. It is a lightweight openwork structure patterned, either by machine or by hand. In Jewelry, laces are typically used to make Victorian Chokers and cuffs.Â
Leather Lace
These are tapes that are ironically referred to as Leather Lace even when they have no openwork pattern in them. They can be flat with a colored edge, braided or even simple lengths of suede. They are great for making wrap bracelets.
Braid
Braids are trims that come under the non- woven category. Braiding is a technique that can be seen in cords and threads as well. Soutache thread is a narrow, flat braid trim in a herringbone pattern.
Ribbon
A Ribbon is flat and flexible mostly woven band often used in making bows and other small embellishments. Velvet ribbon, organza ribbon, satin ribbon or grosgrain ribbon are some commonplace examples of finished ribbons. However, you can cut any fabric into narrow strips to make ribbons. Sari Ribbon and shibori ribbon are made that way. If you want your fabrics ribbons to stretch and fray less, you can cut them on bias (45 degree angle). Alternatively, for a professional look you can get a ball hem, pico or overedge finish for the edges. A Rik-Rak (RicâRac) is a zig zag band that also comes under ribbons.
Tape
Tapes are also flat trims much similar to ribbons. However, they are usually narrow unlike ribbons which can be even 3â- 4â wide. Tapes are also thicker and could be edged as in the case of leather tapes.Â
Thread & Yarn
Threads and yarns are fine string like materials that are used to create cords, ribbons or tapes. But they can also be used by themselves as stringing material or to create embellishments. Silk beading and knotting thread and transparent filament yarns are often used in beadweaving and beadwork. Yarn can be used to knit or crochet trims like rosettes. Pompoms can be made using woolen or acrylic yarn. Embroidery thread or silk thread could be used to make tassels or to wrap cords for bracelets and necklaces. Zari thread (combination of metallic yarn with silk or cotton thread) can add shine to your piece and make it feel luxurious.Â

The world of fabric and fiber jewelry is vast and is waiting for you to explore. I have only written about the tip of the ice berg here. Though the wide array of available trims can make it confusing for a beginner, working with them can be truly pleasurable. As you embark on this journey, I invite you to visit my blog Jewels of Sayuri, facebook page, and Instagram handle for eclectic inspiration.
