Yesterday I sat a Maths NAB in school and then today I sat an English NAB. I think I did quite well in Maths but definitely failed the outcome on 'line of best fit' because I couldn't remember anything about that. English today was ridiculously hard, the text we had to analyse was not the meatiest thing and I found it difficult to come up with much to say about it. 

I have a break from school starting next wednesday that I'm looking forward to. My plans are to re-write my biology notes, hopefully meet up with friends at some point, read, and watch Twin Peaks or Supernatural!

I spent a lot of time a couple of nights ago reading about dolphins being involved with midwifery and birthing in the ocean (when I should have been writing my English essay). It was incredibly interesting and I intend to research further into it. I also found out that apparently water-births are supposedly better for babies because being born into water helps to support their brains at the most vulnerable time. All the while I was narrating these discoveries to my friend Rebecca who was busy annotating her copy of 1984 which she is determined I should borrow.

I also learned today that Scotland's suicide rate is 80% higher than England and Wales. Apparently it started rising in the 70's and then rose higher and higher then peaked in the 90's and by then a huge gap had developed between the numbers and now it's falling a lot slower than the other countries. Oh well, I can't say I blame them.

Finished reading Batman-The Black Mirror. I really want to like It, but there is something off about it. I guess its not mainly because of Scott Snyder but an overexposure to Batman in the last few months. I was able to leave work early and spent some time with the Wife. The postman told me that my S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider W figure is waiting for me at the local post office. And i put my Hot Toys stuff on ebay.
