hc time: jigsaw puzzles were probably NOT a calm family activity in the lab growing up. I'm definitely projecting a little, but doing jigsaw puzzles quickly isn't about being a genius, necessarily. it's mostly speed and memory. that being said, bree can easily finish a 1000pc puzzle in like 20 minutes, so donald realized early on that he had to start buying two identical puzzles every time: one for bree, and another for chase and adam. (adam usually lost interest quickly, but he liked feeling included anyway, and chase would finish them in about an hour, but he'd let adam help when he wanted to. bree just sped through them without letting anyone else help)

Yo Pheebster! Are you a fan of jigsaw puzzles? I've done a few in the past but I don't actually have that many, despite it being one of my better pastimes. I'm pretty fond of the 1000pc puzzles, never tried anything above that, but I'm planning on it.

Secondary question, have you ever tried one of those 3D jigsaws? I've never had the chance to myself but they sound sick as hell!!

If I had more time, maybe I'd make an actual attempt at starting one. My experience is mainly the time my Mom tried to make one at Christmas, and got bored very quickly. I ended up doing most of it myself, until I kind of forgot about it. They seem like a fun pastime, though.

3D jigsaws sound a lot cooler than the regular flat ones. I'll see if Ray has any lying around, maybe. They seem like his sort of thing.
