Regarding the recent slowness/500 Errors
Hey there,
I just wanted to make a post about the recent errors some people may have been experiencing on Catbox when uploading a file. You may receive various errors, including a 504 Timeout, 500 Internal Server Error, or ID A:FF:FFFFFF. The root cause of these issues is primarily traffic and throughput.
What's been done recently
Catbox has moved inside it's datacenter to a half cabinet colocation. You may or may not have noticed the downtime, but the perks of this new location is it is has 10 Gbit/s fiber. The downside is that the current server for Catbox is only ethernet at 1 gbit/s. For perspective, here's what Catbox's average traffic graph looks like:
On average, Catbox pushes it's 1gbit pretty consistently. In response to that, I've purchased a new server capable of 10gbit/s, with additional storage, as Catbox is also having issues with disk space. I expect this server to be ready for production by the end of the year, after which these types of errors should be less common.
Additonally, I just wanted to thank everyone who has been a patron with me on Patreon. The bills are no longer inconsequential to me, so even taking 50% of the bill will help massively. You the real MVP.

Wanli cable, 3A fast charging type c port more convenient
The general data cable is rarely dedicated, the general phenomenon is that a data cable can be used for a variety of mobile phone models, some models of data cable is more exaggerated, a cable can be used for 30-40 different types of mobile phones.USB is a serial bus standard that connects computer systems and external devices, as well as a technical specification for input/output interfaces, which is widely used in personal computers and mobile devices and other information and communication products, and has been extended to photographic equipment, digital television (set-top boxes), game consoles and other related fields. The latest generation is USB 3.1, the transfer speed is 10Gbit/s, three-stage voltage 5V/12V/20V, maximum power supply 100W, the new Type C plug is no longer divided into positive and negative.
USB is an external bus standard used to regulate the connection and communication between computers and external devices. 127 types of peripherals, such as mice and keyboards, can be connected to the USB interface, which is plug-and-play and hot-swappable. The USB version has evolved over the years to version 3.0 today.
USB devices mainly have the following advantages:1. can be hot-swappable. It is the user in the use of external devices, do not need to shut down and then boot and other actions, but in the computer work, directly plug the USB to use. 2. easy to carry. USB devices mostly "small, light, thin," known for the user, carrying a lot of data, very convenient. Of course, the USB hard drive is the first choice.

SanDisk Professional G-Drive range overhauled with 10Gbit USB 3.2 Type-C
Malcolm Owen | Aug 23, 2022
The SanDisk Professional G-Drive range of high-capacity external drives now includes a hard disk-based option that connects with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C interface and has a modernized appearance.
Sporting a new look to differentiate itself from others in the range, the SanDisk Professional G-Drive Enterprise-Class USB 3.2 Gen 2 external hard drive is packed inside an anodized aluminum enclosure. Measuring 8.27 inches long by 5.24 inches wide and 1.61 inches thick, it has a finned motif that can help with cooling.
Unusually for the G-Drive range, the USB-C is enabled to work with USB 3.2 Gen 2, giving it a maximum speed of up to 10Gb/s — which is overkill for a single hard drive. Of the other professional-listed G-Drive models, only some of the SSD-based units use the connection, while hard drive-based units use either USB 3.2 Gen 1 or Thunderbolt 3.
Buy at B&H
Like some others in the catalog, the storage accessory uses a mechanical hard drive to maximize capacity at a reasonable cost. Inside is an Ultrastar enterprise-class hard drive for reliability, spinning at 7,200RPM and with a maximum data transfer speed of up to 250MB/s.
Preformatted to APFS, the drive is ready to roll with Mac desktops, along with Apple's Time Machine for backups. It can also work with Windows systems, but requires a reformatting beforehand.
The stackable case also has a pair of anchor points for securing it to a DIT card or to a mounting plate. On the back is a button to control the brightness of its LEDs, a power switch, a power port, and the USB-C connection.
Available through B&H Photo as a preorder, the SanDisk Professional 4TB G-Drive Enterprise-Class USB 3.2 Gen 2 External Hard Drive starts at $209.99 for a 4TB model, with the five models capped off by a 22TB version priced at $649.
Arguably the most recommendable capacity option is in the middle with the 12TB drive listed at $379.99.

Know about WDM in Fiber Optic Communication
Wavelength Division Multiplexing is WDM. Into several discrete wavelengths or colors, it split the light in an optic Fiber. Running at data rate at 100Gbit/s, 10Gbit/s, 2.5Gbit/s or 40Gbit/s, each wavelength (color) is an independent channel. So we get a total of 40Gbit/s x 16 = 640Gbit/s rate if each wavelength is running at 40Gbit/s data rate after the light in the fiber is split into 16 wavelengths. In ultra-long-haul and long haul fiber optic communication links, this is especially true.
Also on the market, fibers carrying 64 and more channels (wavelengths) are available now. In a single fiber optic cable, how about 48 fibers? That gives us an amazing 2,560Gbit/s x 48 = 122,880Gbit/s link. Of course for Internet backbones, this kind of high speed and high fiber count links are usually only deployed.
You can see the shocking truth about WDM from the aforementioned samples. While minimizing fiber optic cable and equipment costs, it increases the capacity of a fiber optic link dramatically.
DWDM
Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing is DWDM Mux. Here "dense" means the wavelength channels are close to each other and very narrow. The interval between adjacent channels for 100 GHz dense WDM is only 100 GHz, (or 0.8nm). For example, the adjacent channels could be 1531.90nm, 1531.12nm and 1530.33nm.
For the 1550nm band, DWDM is widely used to leverage the capabilities of EDFA (Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifiers). For the 1570nm ~ 1610nm (L Band) and1525nm ~ 1565nm (C band), EDFAs are commonly used.
Importance of DWM
In transmission capacity, the exploitation of DWDM has fueled an explosion. There is now a glut of available capacity as the amount of information that can be sent over the fiber cables that span the world has increased very much.
In practice, by spacing wavelengths more closely, typically at 50GHz, or even 25 GHz or by extending the upper or lower bounds of the available transmission window, more can be wrung out of DWD systems. Suppliers can triple or double the number of channels in doing this. For higher data rates at 100 GHz spacing or transmission of light pulses at 10Gbit/each optical channel can currently be routinely used. Data capacity of several hundred gigabits per second is provided by a pair of fibers with the help of WDM.
Of the fiber infrastructure that has been put in the ground, WDM technology does not need any replacement or upgrade. Hence by reconfiguring or upgrading terminal equipment and repeaters, we can upgrade links from one capacity level to the next simply. The CWDM Mux is also reliable.
The raw transmission capacity is provided by WDM technologies. So that it can be routed where it needs to go and carry user traffic, this has to be structured in some way. The next layer of network protocol comes to play here.
