The reason for my shortish meditation is my nearly 50 years old body. My mind, thankfully, has been blessed with a handful of meditational successes at 50.

It’s a good thing that I began my struggle with the meditation habit back when I was 25 years old. Without a steady struggle with the blessed habit, there is no way I would have received the kind of growth that I have at 50.

Despite a body that’s beginning to show the end of youth, I had a decent quality of meditation last night. The meditation was exactly the same as the 2 nights before it. The uninterrupted quality of these 3 meditations comes after decades of being interrupted with mind-generated imagery. It’s a huge blessing to be free of the mind related struggles.

As far as the body is concerned, it made 2 children in its youth. From the meditator’s point of view, I am ever grateful to the invisible forces that have given me life enough to experience some meditational growth.
