Dominant Hand: her original right hand, her extra limbs, even on the right side, do not have the motor skills to write and such  Scars: a jagged cut on her primary left arm from factory work at the age of 13, a couple burn scars peppered along her primary arms, and she has scarring in her genital area (I’m not comfortable getting descriptive). Manner of Birth: Betty was premature by 3 months, her mother went into her labor during one of NYC’s acid rainstorms (a regular occurrence in the city), as such her mother hadn’t been checked into the hospital. It was a miracle both mother and child survived

Parental Involvement: Absent. Betty’s mom was planning to leave her dad while being pregnant, but she was stressed and gave birth prematurely. So the mom just left, she figured George could at least find a nanny to raise Betty (the Branstons were a rich family). George panicked when his wife left and he just dumped Betty at the first orphanage he found. The orphanage director was a firm believer in ‘Children are to be seen not heard’ basically raised Betty to be silent and obedient, before selling her off to a clothing factory at age 12. The director also instilled a good amount of misogyny and fucked religious ideology that Betty will have to work through later (classic women are only servants to men and you have to do everything your husband says. Also if you get sick or are born in a bad situation it’s your fault actually)

Adult Life

Occupation: vigilante and occasional stealer of rich people money

Current Residence: NYC

Close Friends: Kamala Khan (Ms Marvel) and Ben Grimm (The Thing) (I really need to write Betty and the fantastic 4, I have ideas I’ve yet to write/draw out) Pavitr Prabhakar (I kept it simple and stuck to canon characters she’s closest too)

Criminal Record: Bethany has a clean record..Spider woman however..Murders in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Degree, Assault and Battery, Breaking and Entering, Destruction of Property, Tax Evasion (in her defense she didn’t know about them) There are definitely more but those are the ones I can name off the top of my head

Vices: cigarettes, beer, formerly a sleeping pill addict. If she ever got back into pills or started doing harder drugs she’d go to downers rather than uppers.

That separation did a real number on Betty..so now she is way more verbally quiet about how much she cares. She is however very ready to do any physical thing (whether it’s sex, gifts, manual labor whatever) she thinks will keep someone close by. Eventually someone has to want her too right?

Hobbies to Pass Time: If she has the materials she does embroidery, she’s very good at sewing in general. She feels guilt doing hobbies that aren’t ‘useful’, embroidery makes her feel the least guilt. Sometimes she steals books from the public library to read, she’ll read about anything she can understand. Which isn’t a lot, but she tries

Mental Illnesses: none, has been mistaken for someone on the autism spectrum by people outside of her dimension though.

Physical Illnesses: Anorexia, not out of a want to appear more beautiful. She just feels a lot of guilt around eating food.

Self Confidence Level: It depends, typically Betty is under the impression that she’ll never see someone again. That their meeting was a one time thing or she’ll be dead before she can see them again. So she says and acts without any second thought to how comes off..however..after two years of being Spider-Woman and not dying, plus gaining some friends that haven’t ditched her. That care about her. Shes becoming more nervous about her social interactions. First time meeting she’s short to the point and confident in what she says and does..meets you again on friendly terms? She’s uneasy and second guessing herself

Vulnerabilities: generally being insecure and (she’d never admit this) wanting attention, over confident in her abilities (in a potentially hostile dimension with no way home? Unless Betty’s being directed otherwise by the spider society, she’s gonna pick a fight with whatever ticks her spidersense first), anger issues (she gets violent if set off), prone to passing out after fights where she’s taken a lot of damage (her body doesn’t have the energy to heal itself while awake, if she ate healthy this wouldn’t be as big of an issue. She’s basically in a coma for 1-3 days, depends extent of the damage)
