ALL the lesson learned into half of 2023 (part 1)

Several things happen, jujur banyak banget!

Tulisan ini bakal panjang banget, dirunut sampai ke Januari awal.

Intinya, aku mau cerita hal apa aja yang sudah terjadi dan lesson learned apa yang aku take notes dan jadi evaluasi kedepannya.

Juni 2023

Post terakhir aku, adalah waktu aku baru bertunangan, lagi sibuk-sibuknya sama pekerjaan, yang dimana untuk pertama kalinya aku ikut event beauty sebagai salah satu yang bertanggung jawab dari perencanaan sampai selesainya.

Pengalaman yang bener-bener berharga banget buat aku, tapi juga ternyata yang mendorong aku untuk burn out terlalu awal, terlalu awal dari rencana.

Rencana awalnya tuh memang, kontrak kerja harusnya selesai di bulan September, artinya aku udah kerja 1 tahun lebih 3 bulan di bulan September, terus aku resign dan mulai prepare untuk nikah, dengan perkiraan bulan November atau Desember.

CUMAN EH CUMAN, setelah event di bulan Mei akhir, kok ya ternyata banyak hal yang ngubah cara pandang aku...

Selain burn out, aku rasa gak bisa stay lagi lebih lama karena ada beberapa hal yang nyalahin prinsipku.

Salah satunya, atasan tempatku kerja sebelumnya ternyata bener-bener se gak peduli itu sama customernya sendiri, dari cara dia gak mau hadir atau banyak terlibat langsung di event pertamanya, sampai klaim bohong di produknya.

Itu adalah penilaian pribadiku, sementara aku selalu kerja dari hati, dimana aku bener-bener peduli sama customer dan gak melihat mereka cuma dari angka di metriks atau KPI aja. Karena itu, aku jadi merasa kerjaku pointless. Why should I care so much about the customers ketika the founder herself engga sepeduli itu?

Jadilah surat resign dilayangkan.

Sebenernya, aku sedih banget sampai nangis juga. Sedihnya karena aku merasa emotionally attached sama nama tempat kerjaku itu, dimana aku udah bangun hubungan sama customer dan audiensnya.

Tapi itu harus dihancurkan sama pandanganku yang jadi tercoreng karena masalah diatas itu. This is not the ending I want where i resented the founder, honestly. Especially when I worked so hard and dedicated to build genuine relationships.

Yaudahlah. So Do not get emotionally attached with the work you do because at the end of the day, we work for other people and we are just budak kapitalis.

Alasan lainnya aku resign, aku merasa rindu yang bener-bener gak tertahankan sama kekasihku. Dia jauh di Bali sana. Aku merasa sangat kosong dalam lelahku bekerja, atau ketika aku lagi pergi jalan-jalan menikmati hidup, dan waktu denger ceritanya bisa jalanin hidup tanpa aku.

Rasanya bener-bener sunyi memekakkan, di ruang hatiku yang harusnya ada dia.

Entah kenapa, sama kekasihku ini rasanya aku gak sanggup jauhan. Aku gak sanggup denger ceritanya mau nonton ini, mau jalan kesitu, rencana kesana, dan itu semua tanpa aku.

Aku udah coba buat list beberapa kemungkinan kalau perasaan itu semu dan sesaat aja.

Aku ngekost di kota orang sendiri, tanpa temen deket yang gimana atau keluarga. Jadi aku merasa kesepian

Aku kurang banyak kegiatan (???? kerjaanku udah cukup berat)

Aku kurang bersyukur (gatau sih ini)

Tapi ini udah memasuki minggu ke dua aku nganggur, dan FYI rumah lagi rame banget, yang gk ada di rumah cuma Mama aja. Dan apa? yak aku masih rindu setengah mati sama kekasihku.

Rasa rindunya bener-bener menyesakkan, pedih yang terus-terusan ada, tiap narik napas rasanya sulit, rasa kangennya itu kayak mandi waktu lagi gerah-gerahnya jadi setelah mandi masih kerasa sumuk lagi tapi mandi lagi percuma. Atau rasa kangennya mirip lantai yang abis ketumpahan sesuatu yang lengket, udah di lap tapi rasanya masih ada somehow, tapi secara fisik udah gak keliatan apa-apa.

Tau gak, tiap malem kita selalu videocall? Gak pernah sekalipun ada momen aku matiin videocall itu tanpa mikir, ‘Yah, kalau teleponnya mati, dianya juga ikut ilang.’

Tapi dari rasa kangen yang berat banget ini, aku bingung juga. Apa rasa kosong ini--Bener dari jarak? atau bukan nih?

Itu pertanyaan yang misteri banget buatku.
