Random Yexi Facts: Part 4

When on tour she tries to donate to organizations on the local area while she's there

On her birthday she always donates to charities in Korea, China, and the US since all have been part of her growing up.

She has two other names she has writing credits under for songs she does personally that have no ties to seventeen.

In 2020 she was inducted into the KOMCA

In 2025 she is in consideration for being inducted into the MCSC which is China's equivalent, but under a pseudonym.

Her first date with Jaehyun was actually orchestrated by the 97 liners by planning a meet up and no one else showing up but the two of them.

Yexi had content planned where before each member went into the military she would make their favorite meal and reminisce about trainee life and talk about the future but her first episode with Jeonghan most of the footage was her crying so the project has been shelved for now.

On her off days she will go to random studios (she tries to make them smaller ones) and sign up for a class and wear a mask the whole time to stay anonymous because she wants to enjoy a class as just a pupil, but that way if she is found out later on social media maybe it will help out smaller studios.

During be the sun tour she tried to meet choreographers at each stop to film content and she submitted but the company still hasn't posted it to this day begrudgingly

She's taken to following Jungkooks rule of if she wants to talk to carats she'll talk to carats, even at 3am.

She started forcing herself in situations where she didn't have her members to lean and was forced to be less shy and more sociable. Umaga, Edward 'Ekmo' Fatu is a potential candidate to join the WWE Hall of Fame 2025 class. It would be great to see Umaga join the WWE HOF even after how his ending came to be with WWE, being released due to violation of the Wellness Policy.

His time with WWE was huge, and he had key feuds with top stars like John Cena, Triple H and CM Punk, but sadly was never able to win the big one, though I believe it would have been received well with fans. The question remains however, who would likely induct him? Rikishi? The Usos, Jey and Jimmy alongside Rikishi, or maybe the bring his son Zilla through before hand so he is known on the WWE side and have him induct his father.

Mayblade 2025, Day 7: Hope

Yuriy was haunted by every single face that crossed the threshold into the living nightmare after he had.

Lined up in uniform rows on the cracked cement slab in the dreary courtyard. A threatening silence loomed as every boy remained still and quiet, like statues. The monastery guards and older students circled the group like vultures. A ceremony to induct the new recruits they’d say; but it was actually the first culling. The first ten or so children that made a noise deemed too loud, became restless, collapsed from exhaustion, or were otherwise selected based on the capricious whims of the staff and senior students—

would have their future extinguished.

He had adapted quickly, from his own time standing lined up like an animal waiting for its slaughter, to the recruit Volkov himself said had the greatest potential. So he had easily ascended the ranks and become one of the vultures, prowling the orderly rows of boys not old enough to be considered young men, memorizing every feature of them. As long as he lived, someone would remember those destined to be forgotten.

There had been four of them for most of it. Sergei from a much earlier group of boys, a couple years older with a couple extra years of trauma. Dimitri from the year before them, and he and Boris from the same recruitment cycle. 

It was unexpected, as they’d never before allowed two from the same class to ascend the ranks. Not when the entire system was designed to breed contempt and distrust between peers. But while he had been the standout, the lengths Boris would go to survive, had caught everyone’s attention.

Even when he was beaten and unable to walk, kneeling before Yuriy with the cold metal barrel of a gun pressing between his eyes… he continued to utter derisive statements, about how worthless Yuriy was, how unwanted he was, about how he should turn the gun on himself because there was no place for someone like him on this planet.

Boris had a propensity for seeing right through him, from the very start.

Yuriy clenched his jaw and pulled the trigger.

The magazine was empty.

Volkov clapped in delight at the display.

They had both passed his test.

He had completed his quartet.

Until Ivan.

By all accounts he was unremarkable, younger than most the rest, frail, scared. Yuriy ignored the shaking of his knees when he drifted by him. He had no interest in signing the death warrant of someone who probably still had most of their baby teeth. Dimitri didn’t share such sentiments of course, Ivan’s body language was blood to a shark wanting any excuse to go on a frenzy.

So he descended on him in an instant, grabbing a fist full of his matted, greasy hair and pulling him out of the formation. He threw him onto the ground in front of the rest of the apprehensive boys, with an excitement he could hardly mask.

If Ivan had been quivering before, he was now trembling like an entire aspen tree, as he rolled off of his wounded knees to see his assailant. Dimitri grinned with a madness better suited for an asylum than an orphanage and stalked towards him, each step slow and exaggerated. He used his feet to slide himself backwards, ignoring the sensation of his skin scraping against the broken concrete, determined only to maintain the distance between them. Until his back collided with something solid, a guard's unmoving figure.

The funny thing Yuriy learned about hope that day is you can watch it drain from someone’s eyes.

He hardly remembered the words Dimitri taunted his prey with as he slowly closed the small gap between them. Too focused on the way colour drained from Ivan’s face and eyes, on how hollow he looked as he accepted his own extinction.

Dimitri took one last step, there was less than half a meter between them. Ivan glanced up at him, and attempted to bring himself back to a stand. He was partially kneeling when the taller boy's foot made contact with the side of his head, throwing him face forward into the steadfast guard. He collapsed back onto the ground.

Yuriy and Boris exchanged silent glances from across the courtyard, noticing the brief reflection of sunlight on a familiar silver object that had inconspicuously made it into Ivan’s hands.

Before Dimitri could deliver a second blow there was the all too familiar crack of a gunshot. The pistol in his hands fell to the ground with a silent thump, overshadowed by the much louder thud made as his assailant's body fell backwards onto the cement.

A perfect entry wound, right between the eyes.

Volkov smiled from where he had been observing the scene.

Four of them still remained…

On Saturday, I had the privilege of attending the 2025 US Astronaut Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Kennedy Space Center. The class of 2025 included Bernard Harris and Peggy Whitson, two truly incredible people. The ceremony was presided over by former CNN space correspondent John Zarrella.

Harris, a Space Shuttle astronaut, flew on STS-55 and STS-63. On STS-63, not only did the mission accomplish the first rendezvous of the Shuttle with the Mir Space Station, but Harris became the first African American to perform a spacewalk. Since then, he has founded The Harris Institute, serving "socially and economically disadvantaged communities locally and across the nation." His work focuses on motivating young children of color to reach for the stars, and providing educators with resources for STEM education.

Whitson, who was unable to attend the ceremony due to quarantining for an upcoming flight to the ISS scheduled for NET June 8th, began her career as a Shuttle astronaut specializing in long-duration missions to the ISS, and has since flown on Shuttle, Soyuz, and Crew Dragon. She holds the current US record for longest cumulative time spent in space, with 675 days thus far. On her last mission, AX-2, Whitson became the oldest woman to orbit the Earth, and holds the record for number of spacewalks completed by a woman, having accomplished 10 during her NASA career. Since leaving NASA, Whitson now works for Axiom Space and has commanded two missions, AX-2 and the upcoming AX-4.

In attendance at the event were numerous current and former NASA astronauts, including many Hall of Fame members.

Yes, OutKast, the hip-hop duo consisting of André 3000 and Big Boi, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as part of the 2025 class. They are the first Southern hip-hop artists to be inducted. Their induction ceremony will take place this November.

2021's event was not held due to COVID, 2022 we skipped because of the Omicron spike and 2025 we missed due to being sick

I grabbed their shoulder and pulled them in, focused my gaze on theirs and began talking. Rapidly. My eyes are locked on your eyes, nothing imaginative. And oh how their eyes fluttered as I shook them, how their chin tilted down and their body became so limp swifter than I could possibly imagine. They looked adorably vulnerable. Open and easily guided back onto the sofa, drifting down even further... so easy to let go and.... if I take your shoulder and look you in the eyes again, you can imagine that tunnel vision, the whole world caving in to that one spot. Veeeery good. Good kitty. Because my gaze in that moment is permission. It's intention and your good good mind knows to skip the steps and go straaaaight to the destination, easy to just drift and---

Apparently 16 years of imaginary training does work just fine.

With my spirits renewed and my power as a top established it was time for classes again.

I should note, the next class at 4pm is Mazirian, MindTheBaron and Velvet's hairplay class. I have been WAITING for this.

So yeah, I got a hair stroking induction. My first time going into trance for a human interacting solely with me during the convention. It was a down and up and she admitted that her ring caught in my hair. I was so so so so so embarrased. I just wanted to crawl into a hole and die.

I have done that to myself about 5 times a day every day since the convention. I'm obsessed with it.

2024 Charmed Exert -

And we found the room we would teach in. Hybrid. So Miss took time to do blocking for the camera so that the online audience could see us.

They could see us just fine and it was SO amazing to scroll through and see an online contingent

One need only look at the Discord Channel and see the vibrant thread of people reacting enthusiastically to our energy, our chemistry, Precious and— our matching outfits

Miss was wearing the Poison Ivy outfit— the one she wore at Beguiled the day I first asked to kiss her– one of the many times during that event that my heart became hopelessly smitten.

Miss showed off her repertoire of non-fixation tricks. Touch by fixating on the feel of Precious’ fur on my fingers, the sound of the audience in the room next door (a muffled and senseless sound that lets us dissociate more and more the longer we fixate), she described scent fixation (and noted that it can backfire due to sensitivity) and reminded me of the rose scented rag she had used on me in [the past] and allowed me to be a good little demo bottom and DROP for her, she described the strawberry story from the past as the taste fixation (save that anecdote, it comes up later) and then said that people had more than 5 senses.

Cue the wallslam.

I am a somft sweet little thing and Daja is so strong and loving and can Handle me.

We went into Q&A mode and the audience were sweet enough to prompt some other ideas and Grinch is so lovely.

He asked about The Takedown Induction.

Daja weighed her options and she said that later on she told Turq she only knew she could do this because she threw me on the bed the previous night. She also needed to make sure her ankle could handle it, the weather had been doing havoc on her ankle that weekend and it had impacted kneeling.

OH OH OH! DAWN! EDIT IN THE KNIGHT KNEEL TO THE PRESENCE CLASS. DO IT.

She decided to go for it.

I watched the VOD before it was taken down and Daja had me focus on my balance, on space and on the anticipation and then.

WAH!!!!

I was taken down in a heartbeat from standing down to the floor and it happened swiftly and flooded with trust towards Miss’ control, strength and agility.

What a beautiful moment…!

I blushed and hid behind Precious and for much of the class just looked at Daja as she taught, love in my eyes. The Discord chat reflects my affection all too well.

I also added some good questions to be a cute little assistant and help the class along.

I cannot wait to see the feedback from this class <3 Daja did so well and though the Core Content was not long enough to exist in an environment where people had experience with hypnosis. Luckily the Q&A was lovely and we filled the hour with ease.

This was the morning of Many Classes. So there was hardly time before going in to do the second Daja/Tenn class. This time it was actually Topping. I sat in the 4th row because I didn’t enjoy having someone sitting behind us sniffling and using tissue behind us at Bottoming and thought we’d get to sit away from people. No luck. People sat near us anyway. Ah well.

The class is one I’ve sat in a number of times and I wanted to just see the discussion and back and forth and enjoy how well Daja speaks. She makes for such clear and firm speech. I recall at a point in the hybrid class it was joked that Daja didn’t need to speak up and clearly because she does so by default.

There was a moment where Daja was saying how we all steal and share ideas saying ‘No one has ever accused anyone of stealing ideas” (Daja steals from Dawn a lot <3) and I joked “Unless you’re Serbone” and I realized afterwards that the 7 Plus or Minus 2 script is copyrighted, Secret’s amazing read of it isn’t allowed to be public for that reason.

Accordingly we begin with the life of Henry Ossian Flipper, the first Black man to be commissioned in the U.S. Army and also the first Black cadet to graduate from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, in 1877.

Born enslaved in 1856 Georgia, Flipper's earliest years were working in a wood shop with his father, himself a skilled shoemaker and carriage-trimmer. After the Civil War he pursued his education, first at Missionary Schools and then at Atlanta University (today known as Clark Atlanta University) in 1869. His dream, however, was to attend West Point. Determined to make every conceivable effort, he wrote to his state Congressman, James C. Freeman, asking for an appointment. After some back-and-forth exchange of correspondence with Rep. Freeman, to his great surprise, he secured his appointment and was inducted in 1873, along with four other African Americans. He was the first to graduate as a member of the Class of 1877, though his time at West Point was of near-total social isolation due to his race. One of his first posts as a newly-commissioned second lieutenant was with the 10th Cavalry (the famed "Buffalo Soldiers") at Fort Sill, Oklahoma --this was also significant as Flipper was the first-ever Black officer to command regular troops. (Previously the all-black regiments such as the Buffalo Soldiers had been commanded by white officers.) The unit later served with distinction (if one may call it that!) in 1880, against Chief Victorio and his Apache warriors.

Unfortunately Flipper's career later took a downward turn in 1881, while he served as quartermaster in Fort Conchon, Texas: a nearly $2,000 discrepancy was discovered in disbursed commissary funds, and Flipper attempted to pay the shortfall out of his own pocket. Despite this ill-advised effort (and even with his fellow troops contributing their own funds to what smelled like a setup), the discrepancy was still discovered by his superiors and Flipper was court-martialed, receiving a Dishonorable Discharge in 1882. He remained in the region and established himself as an Indian translator and also as a surveyor, working for the Department of Justice's Court of Private Land Claims, even providing expert testimony in several land grant court cases. He later became special assistant to the Secretary of the Interior, from 1921 to 1923. He pursued a brief mining career in Venezuela, but returned to the U.S. in 1930. Over the course of his life he published two memoirs, "The Colored Cadet at West Point (1878)" and "Negro Frontiersman: The Western Memoirs of Henry O. Flipper" (published posthumously in 1963). Both publications are regarded as definitive, indispensable accounts of life on the frontier from the vantage point of a Black man.

The U.S. Army reviewed and corrected Flipper's case to an Honorable Discharge in 1976, concluding that his 1882 discharge was unnecessarily harsh. President Bill Clinton formally pardoned Flipper in 1999.
