Hello everyone,

you are now talking to a 30 year old.

Do I feel wiser? No. I have always been wise.

I had the most wonderful birthday in the longest time. Thanks to my beautiful partner. He encouraged my brother and my cousin to surprise me. And we went to Sula for one night. If I could put all pictures I would, but I respect my privacy a little too much. And I kept saying I wanted to do one thing for my 30th birthday, was to sip a drink by the pool. And thats exactly what I did. I wanted to be in the pool too but because of my ear infection, I couldn't't.

I did get some decent pics out of it. And I honestly had the best time. I was and am so grateful. I was and am humbled. It reminded me of my wedding when I was showered with so much love. I am feeling so positive about this now. I am so positive about everything. The Universe and I are aligned. I am so lucky, I get whatever I want. I am on the right path and I can feel abundance coming my way as I type this. Everything is working out for me. The right family, the right partner, the right career, and the right kind of life. LOVE ALL THE WAY.

don't get me wrong I see the fun in like using "girlie" as an affectionate nickname or the idea of reclaiming your girlhood or whatever. but I am begging young women to refer to themselves (and others) as women, not girls. even just some of the time. even if it's just pausing to consider whether you could say woman or person in that sentence instead. you are not "just a girl eating girl dinner after my lazy girl job 😌💅✨️" you are a self sufficient grown adult with a career HAVE SOME SELF RESPECT

I'm just going to say it. the attitude I'm seeing in the Silmarillion fandom from those who have never watched the ROP show, but are enjoying gifsets of the Annatar/Brimb scenes and expressing that it has them interested in those portrayals, while continuing to loudly assert that the Celebrimbor casting is atrocious because he's 'old and blond' fucking disgusts me.

An alternate universe I feel is severely underused in the RWBY fandom is "Ruby Rose is the next incarnation of Ozma"

I've only seen it used like, twice, but it's so much fun. Ozpin and Ruby originally had this "wise but distant mentor and his plucky, innocent mentee that gets through his walls" vibe. It's both having unreasonable expectations placed on them that they suffer consequences for not measuring up to. It's suddenly having your favorite teacher around 24/7 to watch you do dumb stuff and commenting on it. It's Qrow, sobbing into a bottle because one day his niece is going to dissolve into the amalgamation that is Ozma. It could be so good guys.

OH! I do want to clarify, I mean the heads of the company, the business decision makers. not the people working on actually making the game. props to all the Voice cast, and the crew behind the actual creation, on making a game that definitely resonates with people, just not my thing.

as an almost-30 y.o. adult with a cat, i hereby hc that aizawa's back is fucked up bc sleeping with cats is a game of fitting on the bed around them. they don't care that you have work in the morning, they're gonna lay right in the middle of your mattress and you just have to deal with it.
