SearchingForElris did a great video on LABOUM’s career up to late 2021 before and this one is really well-researched too and even took 10 months. It’s a much needed watch and good to share, bc too many youtubers are on the side of one of the two abusive companies (ATTRAKT) and spread disinfo that the CEO and his incel fanboys made up.

unfortunately, i keep going back to the boys' relationship with jype. not that they are in danger, but simply the promises made last year are in vain. they will not happen and the company, with apologies, lied to their faces. it is possible that something will be revealed and learned in this direction, with things heading more towards personal disappointment towards the boys than towards some terrible public scandal. if i had to compare their situation with that of other groups, 1) with newjeans things are completely different, because i felt terrible, terrible whining. it is possible that stays will come to terms with the circumstances, and not be divergent left and right. with stray kids i also don't see the abuse of the media in korea, as there is with hybe/mhj/nwjns. 2) with fifty fifty there was terrible manipulation on both sides, of course, before the rebranding of the group/redebut of 3jeong. there was also abuse of the media there. compared to newjeans, the situations are like.. almost the same. the difference is that newjeans has the support of mhj, and fifty fifty, or at least the girls who formed ablume now, whether they had support or not, it was as if you didn't know. with stray kids things don't turn out that way. 3) with loona things were completely different, since they collectively experienced mistreatment from blockberry creative and after chuu's rebellion, which led to her "kicking" out of the group (de facto things are different), the other girls slowly left the company legally and nullified their contracts through the courts. in the case of the boys from stray kids, i definitely see some mistreatment, and things can be compared to vcha and what kg went through, but i don't see all this escalating drastically. it's possible that things will just go like that and not even be paid attention to. therefore, it's unlikely that they will go to court.
