hey everyoneee sorry for not being too active on tumblr these days.. for those of you who didn’t hear the news yet because you don’t follow my twitter or smt, I’ve been working hard the past 3 months to study for the Jakarta round of World Scholar’s Cup.

at first I signed up just because it would look nice on my CV and for experience. yes. for the alpaca. I’m sorry. but sometime later I found out that the global rounds would be at Hanoi, a.k.a my gf’s hometown, lol, and that they will be back at Vietnam during the global round.     whoa

so, naturally i,  started to get serious about it ajknjksfnkdjn my team (and practically most of the ppl in my school’s senior division teams) is all completely aware that I am very gay for @pistachiosoda so we worked together for it

anyway World Scholar’s cup’s Jakarta round ended yesterday!! I went through WSC trying to not expect so much, but after pretty much falling off my seat to the floor and crying like a dumbass (including my whole team wwww) during the announcement after the awards ceremony I can finally say that I was qualified for the global rounds!!! 

I didn’t think I worked hard enough to go but!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaa y’all I can meet my gf!!! sorry for writing long paragraphs but what the heck!!!!! I’m going!!! to get a large alpaca and I can!!! physically poke sol!!!!!!! I’m so sorry for rambling but I’m so gay!!!!!!!!! for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CHERELLE’S BUNDLE OF AWESOMENESS [Xmas Gift]

Ok, so as all of you know, I’ve lost my laptop for a month. This was a long and tedious period, where I could only have my phone to communicate with the outside world. Near the period it broke (right in this period actually), a letter came, and it was wonderful, and it was from the megaawesomeincrediblenice

And I spent about a month with Cherelle’s package neatly closed and could hear it calling for me. Oooopen me, ooopen me... Yet I wanted to give it EVERYTHING it deserves and more. So I went in and created an unboxing video (only for Cherelle), which was supposed to be 10 minutes. Yeah... Supposed... to... be...

The first one to encounter was this masterpiece. I think, if Cherelle saw the video, she knows my exact thoughts (read: hug the artpiece and sit with a blessed expression), but I want to share them anyway

LOOK AT THAT LEVEL OF DETAILS Its incredible

Its... Simply BREATHTAKING how wonderful this is. I spent a great deal just looking, touching and enjoying. As I said in the video (I will mention this video a lot xD), when you hold the ACTUAL drawing, you can feel the layers of coloring, the texture, you can imagine the artist actually drawing it, imagine their brushes touching the paper, imagine how they wait until the colors dry, imagine everything... And now I hold the same paper that the masterpiece was created on. This... Is a wonderful experience.

From the moment I saw the first panel, realization hit, and I screamed. I won’t write lenghthy comments to every page, so that people will be able to read it, but I will summarize it at the end.... And I’m extremely sorry for my picture taking, it might cut some lines, but I was hurrying, so that Cherelle will see it sooner ;_; I will retake it if needed, or maybe Cherelle has scans of good quality, so that the world will see it’s awesomeness! 

Anyway: this is MY. OVERHEARD. BEING. TURNED. INTO. MANGA. I can’t contain my emotions, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaa ;_;

This became a symbol of new period of life, the light, the happy period of life, and I will cherish each and every drawing, and I know for a fact that I will look at every detail in my overheards over and over, trying to grasp the idea that MY IDEA GOT DRAWN OH MY GOD ;v;
