Somehow it came up that Destro and AFO had seen Ningen (ニンゲン) when they were kids. Hori once drew this mythical creature in one of his creepy sketches... and I thought, “Why not?”

All of this is to say, the AFO destroyed the prison as soon as they found out that the government had killed Destro to quell the uprisings and wrote it off as a suicide. “He didn't even mean that something like this could happen.
