The events in the game being set to thirteen years away (2038) doesn't seem as impossible anymore and I am stressed.
Like I know the game isn't going to become real and that the game is fictional.
But the idea of sentience from a robot is a lot terrifying right?
I'm not alone in thinking sentient robots are terrifying right?
The idea that robots become so important in day to day life is terrifying
And you're not allowed to call me crazy when machines have literally already taken over to some degree.
Computers, telephones, card readers, and a lot more technology has replaced human operated things.
There used to be a whole operating line where people had to connect you to other businesses when you called.
Factory machineries have replaced too many careers than I can even name.
Door to door salesman have gone way down ever since advertising became digitalized.
I mean they're even replacing cashiers in some degree. Self checkouts keep popping up everywhere.
Heck they're laying off teachers in favor of just giving students a website to learn on their own and take tests on.
And if we're moving into not just physical machinery we have the whole ai taking over different fields fiasco. Art, voices, writing, even full on videos have started to be made by ai which threatens humans that use these mediums as a career.
And while yes we're not at android level yet.
The top technology of 2012, was mini tablets. That was thirteen years ago.
And if we can go from mini tablets to how technology is now in thirteen years.
Then how far are we going to go in the next thirteen?
What happens when the world becomes self sufficient on machinery alone? When machines do everything to upkeep themselves and create themselves?

I'm going into the farming industry if I ever reach recovery. Plants are too complicated for robots to master for awhile. Plus they need to be grown outside and require all different types of upkeep tasks that vary in skill and field.
I firmly believe that farming is going to be a harder field to completely robot-ify. Because plants are very hard to maintain if you aren't gentle with them. While farm machines do exist to assist farmers when farming. It's not going to be automated on a major level anytime soon.
