yknow. even with the rocky localizations and relocalizations since literally the second game came out and corrected orie's surname from valadier to ballardiae and every other game the movesets swap translations. i have never gotten behind the conspiracy theory that "in-birth" is a mislocalization and they meant like. inverse? or whatever? as an incredibly crucial lore term and as literally the title of the game they wouldve had that one locked down on Exactly what they wanted it to be localized as like. fucking immediately. hello. not to mention it makes the concept of re-births kinda not make sense anymore too. like. i dont think inverse and reverse would be good Lore Terms that shit would get so confusing so fast cause its not like those are particularly uncommon words
