wanna hear the story of how i found out my school has a prom committee?

so, my school has this pop-up prom shop (got a few dresses suits etc) that's technically run by a teacher at our school, but most of the time i'm the one behind the actual functionality (yes i do this for CAS but it's also fun yk). a few weeks ago, the teacher in charge asked if i wanted to be a part of a prom presentation with a few other students and i said yes.

we organised the presentation. it was actually today, went pretty well. but in the planning stages, we kept having these meetings with the group of students and the teacher in charge. eventually, the teacher in charge referred to us as the prom committee.

and that's when it clicked.

i had no idea we had a prom committee until i realised i was on it

gotten some messages (mostly well-intentioned and kind!) recently asking if i have ‘forsaken star wars’ (yes some people are actually that dramatic) because my last several forays into writing haven’t been sw focused. so this is just me saying hello and assuring those that care that nothing could ever make me forget about the stupid space idiots i have developed so many literal hundreds of hours of my life to.

i just hit a bit of a creative wall with fic in general and wanted to switch tones/worlds to see if i could reclaim some of the joy i’d been missing in the midst of a very busy season in my life, personally and professionally! thankfully i have!! and i can’t wait to pour that back into the sw fandom at an undetermined future place in time. thanks for being patient and reaching out, lovely friends! i’m still here and vibing in star wars hell with the rest of you, i swear. just broadening my horizons too!!

Hey so I woke up in the afternoon and went back to sleep and lucid dreamt (kinda) of kia.we.....!!!!!

In the dream I went to his house and we went to get breakfast together (with i think my family & grandparents also? They were kinda blurry in the background so idk who it was exactly) at like a hawker centre irl and we took a bus and sat on the upper deck... then we didn't eat lol?? Instead we went to this shop and he said he needed to buy a frying pan for his mom but not the cheap ones cuz the metal has to be good enough to withstand his magmar's heat in the end he bought a spatula though so idk what's up with that.

Then we just strayed off from whoever we were with and I suggested going to brooklett hill (which in the game is a place with waterfalls and ponds I guess) and then we kinda went the wrong way and went down this cave thing?? Where the path downwards had no support at the side so you could honestly just fall into the endless pit below Um so kiawe brought out his charizard and helped me up.. Oh ya since I was lucid-ish I tried to dream myself holding his hand a lot, I think it half-worked lol and then we went to a grassy area and I used the pokefinder like in the game the photograph feature lol that was so random ok then we didnr end up having a date at brooklett hill cuz I think I fell deeper asleep and the dream became not kiawren anymore💀
