OKAY so like. Initial kneejerk feelings:

Joel and Hartley - the haunted and the hunter. She doesn't deal with paranormal, usually, but if the situation called for it she might. Plus the visual of prissy, dressed up Hartley hanging out with arcade attendant Joel?

Zack and Callisto - I saw the words hot headed and knew that pairing these two would probably mean some butting heads and I love that, because Callie is often snarky and aloof, prone to provoking tempers (intentional or not).

Zack and Bella - When Bella's bored, she often works as a diner waitress on the nightshift (or whenever, in mainverse). Bella is also quite often creating things though hers tend towards embroidery & other crafts.

Joey and Flynn - Students at the same place? Flynn gets roped into the investigation accidentally? Especially since people tend to overlook him OR if sticking with his mainverse, he can see in the dark which would have benefits

Wyatt and Bella - I have no basis for this I just think Bella would love being on a ranch. In humanverse she's a painter, so maybe she's there with the idea being it's a good subject for her art?
