Snow has covered the city, and the airships alike those that float on water, all stand still and quiet. Ah, to think such days were possible to come by in the city of invention. The central for all creativity where inventors worldwide travel to in order to study and rise in name too.

The duvet of peace that has settled over the people today. Meant that even the leader of the crimson frost syndicate. Had a break. Much to his own dismay in his own opinion.

And yet. . . Neither he or you could complain all that much by the end of the day when the two of you got to have the entire syndicate for yourselves.

You had just finished restoring equipment and putting your own back into your locker. Strangely enough you'd been the only member of the syndicate to meet up today. You had no clue that your boss had told everyone to stay home— you'd forgotten to check your mailbox this one time.

He only observed you as you wandered around and looked at the intirior of the grand ship. Studying the silver gilded walls and the soft silver blue that covered places where the intricate patterns weren't swirled about.

It was no secret the leader of the syndicate had something for you. More than a simple crush. His long talon-like nails scraping across wood gently to make the sound scatter out into the lobby, to catch your attention.

Eyes meet in an instant. Bright red and yours mixing beautifully.

Oh the smile you give him sends him straight into the tumbling mountains of snow. He only gives you a small wave in response, and a little smile himself.

Who would've ever thought the Zhào Xiyang could act like a love-smitten school boy when nobody is around to see it?

A Vaguely Unhinged Diatribe About Runeterra’s Countries and where the FUCK the Slavs are coming from

For the record; Accents in this fantasy universe should not be read into with as much meaning as I am about to read into them. Piltover and Zaun has not only Americans and the British, but also a few inexplicable Aussies and a Scot who may or may not be secretly Noxian? Not to mention how the only other person we know with a Scottish accent in this universe from memory is Lillia, who is a spirit from Ionia. Ionia being essentially Fantasy East Asia in this setting. It means nothing, and yet I am about to make an entire conspiracy theory about Viktor’s fucking accent so take alllll of this with a grain of salt (I mean for all we know that’s just what a strong Zaunite accent sounds like so)

ANYWAY

I have noticed a trend (AKA literally only 2 pieces of evidence) of potentially Slavic things being connected to Camavor of all places.

First: Vladimir. Now, it is obvious to literally anyone that he is only named that because of the Vampire connection (people connecting Dracula to Vlad the Impaler, Vlad becomes Vladimir etc etc). The fact that the name is Slavic is incidental. HOWEVER - it was revealed that the ‘lost kingdom’ Vladimir was a prince of was Camavor. A member of the Camavoran royal family has a Slavic name, despite Camavor being mostly coded Spanish?

The second piece of evidence is actually kind of funny - it’s Necrit. Basically for those not in the know Necrit is a YouTuber and is seen as the main ‘Lore Guy’ in the League community. Back when Riot Forge still existed they worked with Airship Syndicate to make an RPG set in the universe called The Ruined King. Necrit was added in as an NPC whose role in the plot is to literally lore dump at you. It’s great.

HOWEVER.

Necrit IRL is Czech. The in-game, lore canon version of him… IS CAMAVORAN. He is part of Viego’s court. Granted, the VA in the game sounds like he’s attempting to emulate a more Spanish sounding accent akin to Viego than copying Necrit’s accent (which does make sense) BUT THE POINT STILL STANDS.

I have come to two conclusions here.

The sensible conclusion is that Fantasy Eastern Europe is on the same hidden mystery Continent as Camavor and Kathkan. It IS an Eastern Continent so it does kind of make sense.

The infinitely funnier option is that there is no Fantasy Eastern Europe. It’s just Camavor. It was always Camavor. In the wake of the Ruination and the kingdom’s fall its people spread all over and their accents just sound like that now. Viktor was secretly Fantasy Spanish the whole time.

Though actually Viktor being a distant descendant of Camavoran refugees opens him up to some interesting parallels with Viego and obsession and accidentally causing an apocalypse when you were so sure you were doing the noble and heroic and correct thing-

NOPE WE’RE NOT GOING THERE THIS IS ALL WILD SPECULATION AND I SHOULD NOT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY AT ALL.

Anyway. Camavoran Viktor is theoretically possible now. Just wanted to curse you with that knowledge.

ok so . spike ff7 verse notes...this was also a pretty easy adaptation but i'll tweak it if i need to or add things

instead of him working for the syndicate, he was a turk. he defects and does the whole fake death thingie shortly after zack joins soldier after working a handful of missions with him (just to make interactions w that grouping of ff7 cast members have some potential).

as usual the motivation remains the same that he tries to leave to live with julia (idk if it makes sense that julia and vicious are also turks cuz then that's TWO other turks who defected without even accounting for cissnei but also like whatever it's tumblr rp) but she doesn't show up and all that.

post-defection and faking his death spike hides out in sector 7 for a little bit but eventually manages to get out of midgar and heads for the gold saucer where he meets jet who has an airship called the bebop of course.

the two team up and become bounty hunters. they often take their jobs and meet clients at the gold saucer for convenience (also cuz it's a very cowboy bebop-y environment) but are usually living life on the go. like in the dmc verse spike's swordfish II is a motorcycle in this verse a la fenrir.

they typically go out of their way to avoid shinra where ever possible for obvious reasons and don't tend to take bounties from them, but cash is cash, so if they need to jet (or faye whenever they meet up with her) does the dealing and spike just opts to not show up lol.

i think it would make sense that reeve under the guise of cait sith would know that spike is actually alive but opt not to do anything about it esp when AVALANCHE starts taking more of their notice etc.

I can’t remember if anyone had a final fantasy ask, but what if Desmond landed in Spira (Final Fantasy X). He could go full pirate and I’m sure Edward’s bleed would love it.

Not yet. I mean, there was a Desmond as the same species as Nanaki one and a frog Desmond based on FF frog debuff but there hasn’t been any real full crossover or isekai idea.

I was thinking of how Desmond could be a pirate in Spira considering Sin is there lurking and all.

Then I realized we can make Desmond become a full pirate if we don’t set this in FFX but in FFX2. For this one, Desmond could be the captain of his own airship (which is smaller than the Celsius and is actually made up of extra parts from both Fahrenheit and Celsius) which he got by winning a bet against the Al Bhed. Maybe even call it Kelvin to continue the degree themes of their names)

Now, let’s focus on the plot. Desmond really didn’t want to be a pirate. Not exactly. Calling him one would actually be a bit of a… generalization?

The truth was…

He had a sphere with him when he woke up in this world. And that sphere contains a memory of Minerva talking to him, telling him of a device that they had created which can hop into other timelines. Unfortunately, the device disappeared because… it hopped into a different timeline and they couldn’t find it.

So Desmond is looking for that device to get back to his world. The sphere he got from Minerva is his only clue. She said that the device has a lock that used these ‘spheres’ and he needs to collect them all first. He would know if a sphere is part of the device or not.

Which meant that, technically, Desmond is a sphere hunter.

But because he’s looking for specific spheres, he sorta also steals spheres from other people if they’re the spheres he’s looking for.

So in this one, he and his group are actually a rival of the Gullwings (and Leblanc Syndicate) and he gets in the middle of the whole FFX2 plot along the way even though he’s really just there for those specific spheres.

How does Desmond know he got the right sphere?

These spheres are marked with the letter of the Isus’ alphabet and each sphere contains a memory of the device he’s looking for.

Mostly experiment logs, chopped off pieces of how to use them…

With the lead Isu scientist pf the project going by the name Yevon.

Assassination Snitch Card HVT’s Miles Rider Turrets, tear gas, and trails, Miles is all about the misdirection. She doesn't care if you know where you are going, she doesn't care if you find her. She likes to play with her prey. And if she can get you to make mistakes because you're distracted by one of her toys or two tired from chasing her through clouds of smoke, by her metric that's a perfect kill. Elliot Cheng  This douche. Cheng made a killing selling corpses to rich families in Beijing whose sons died unmarried. He would board boats and commandeer shipping containers, smuggling women into the U.S., and anyone who was unaccompanied got accompanied to his mortuary for processing. Everlyn and Adamas These two a couple, both of whom act like their love is only love that the world needs and that if they can make it work in this harrowing time, that means there must be some kind of grand design at play. Unfortunately, the way they ensure their love survives the stress is by killing anyone who threatens it, which makes the two a Yandere Couple. Love makes you do crazy things.

Yeah. Hopefully they finish quick. Setting up shop at GEOGRAM's base is fine, but I'd rather get back in the air soon enough. Especially since I'll be in this damn wheelchair until May.
