Story time... Today I found myself overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, basically all these bad emotions that are not from God. So I went to the cemetery (coffee shops and cemeteries are a couple of my favorite places to have alone time with God). Anyways, while I was doing one of my devotionals and praying. I looked up and saw three deer...this one caught my attention. Both of his buddies were way ahead and he was behind and separated from them because something was wrong with his front left leg. Every time he went to take a step, it would give out and he’d collapse...but he’d get back up and try again. I had been reading in Mark about Jesus healing the sick when this deer caught my attention. So I started praying for the deer and that God would heal his leg so he could keep up with his friends and do what he needed to do to survive. Which sounds silly but as I told God, “I know you care about even these things!” God created them like He created us. All of a sudden the deer started running! Or is it galloping? 😂 But he was moving! All of a sudden the three of them are bouncing around together through the cemetery. I lost sight of him so I don’t know what happened next. All I know is when I last saw him he looked completely fine. I know this sounds kind of silly and who knows maybe it was just an illusion or something but I’ll take it. I’m believing He heard me and healed that little guy because I asked Him to because He’s more than able to do that. Thank you God for that little miracle today. Thank you for always being there, for always listening. I recently promised myself I would wake up early and get some #alonetimewithGod. The need and desire has been there, just not the determination. Today, I was up at 6 and have #finally begun reading #discerningthevoiceofGod by @priscillashirer. My mother and I were talking one day about how we both needed to learn to #hearHimmore. So I gave her my copy (as yet unopened 🤷‍♀️🙀) and ordered myself a new one. We plan on reading through it and then getting together and discussing as we go.
