I think the worst thing LA:BB did for my mental health is making Mello the narrator. Not just for all the angst he shares or whatever but just for the fact that he seems to genuinely into it and so enthusiastic and passionate as a writer that for a moment you get this sickening hope that maybe he can give it all up and be content with being an author instead. The one thing about Arcane season 2 that I'm still a little bit mad about is that Vi and Jinx never really talked. They had a total of 2 conversations in season 1, one where they got interrupted and Jinx was never able to tell Vi what happened in the 7 years Vi was in prison, and the second where Vi still had no clue what was going on. But that's fine, miscommunication that befalls tragedy, it's intentional, and character-wise Jinx wasn't in that kind of headspace for that to happen. But then season 2 rolls around and at no point in season 2 did they sit down and talk about what went wrong, why they made the decisions they did, and try to understand each other. We never even got a loud fight where they unloaded all the negative feelings they had towards each other, or a quiet painful confession that they felt like failures towards each other. They had so much down time that we should've seen all that, the fight in the mines and the talk in the commune should've been that, but they only barely skimmed the surface. Did Vi even find out about Jinx being injected with shimmer? Did Jinx ever find out why Vi left her that night? No, they didn't, and that's just such a shame.

Enneagram 5 Subtype Explained

The Social 5 "Totem"

The SO5 is the most assertive and ambitious of the enneagram 5. This subtype combines the desire of E5 (knowledge and understanding) and the social drive to create and share knowledge. They find great importance In the power of knowledge. Usually having a hyper fixed desire on what is true and logistically correct. John Lukovich describes them as having a "promethean calling" which I think is probably the most accurate of this subtype. Due to their desire to share their obtained knowledge.

The Self Preservation 5 "Castle"

The SP 5 looks to fulfill their desire for knowledge and understanding through gaining insight on their specific interest. The 5 have this 9ish quality to them in the sense that the desire to create an environment that makes them comfortable. However unlike the 9 the sp5 does it in order to maxine efficiency in their interest. This subtype maybe the most social awkward of the enneagram. I personally would attribute curiosity as their defining characteristic. Usually this subtype looks like a typical 5 (quite and reserved) however they can also look like 9s due their introverted and constant narcotization.

The Sexual 5 "Trust"

As the counter type of E5 this subtype looks to find a personal other through the sharing of interest and insight. This subtype subverts the usual conventions of the E5 by being focused on emotional desire. However they are stick an E5 so the struggle of them being a rejection type is still there. They go about fulfilling their core desire by finding a significant other that holds their exact same interest. Similar to the E4 they portray an image of somebody who us deeply interesting however unlike the E4 its not an image but a reality of the subjects interest and desires.

Ok, that's fun :D I have a few... a lot maybe? I may forget a few because my memory is awful and I forget even about the things I love the most :')

Matt is autistic with delicious amounts of anxiety.

Mello have bdp traits (if not bpd per se)

Matt is russian and Mello, croatian.

Matt could possibly be smarter than Mello but he just engage in things around his special interests and hyperfixations, so his grades put him in 3rd. He doesn't study almost nothing, he just listen to the teachers and absorbs it all while, obviously, playing on his gameboy.

Even though at Wammy's there was a videogame at the playroom, Mello just played it once or twice before Matt arrived there. Then he just started to ask for Matt's gameboy to play here and there (mostly because Matt would watch him and cheer for him). This would happen again when they meet in LA, but much less frequently.

When Mello is too stressed, he asks to watch Matt play something. Like it gets him out of his thoughts or smth. He also likes to lean on Matt's arm, it's his weird way of showing affection.

Matt's always really worried about Mello's crazy way of... being. Since Wammy's he'd have to literally pull Mello from his desk to make him go to bed and try to sleep.

It took Mello really long to understand his sexuality and it drove Matt insane while at Wammy's; he'd pray *a lot* cuz he thought he needed to be forgiven. After leaving Wammy's he'd come to terms and be like "oh shit". After a few crimes here and there, he just accepted he had no salvation. Be gay, do crimes be free, my boy.

Mello left Matt back at Wammy's for him not to get hurt. Mello have all this care for Matt that he prefers to be without him than to put him in danger. And because of that, he didn't accepted all that well when Matt showed up on his door in LA 4 years later.

Matt's the only person Mello shows real affection and vulnerability. And after the explosion it shows up even more, mainly because he'd have constant nightmares and flashbacks and Matt'd have to soothe him back.

After a while living together in LA, both started to learn words in each other's native languages. So when Mello is cursing the shit out of Matt, he is actually understanding (most of) it.

Matt is quite physical in his way of showing affection since a kid. Mello used to try to hide that he also is. Eventually he opens up and you see he's pretty needy xD

The first time Matt sees Mello's mafia version, he falls in love even more. "There's something imposing in this version of him" (translating: he just found Mello sexy af)

Hunger Games: Light Yagami (Katniss Everdeen) somehow becomes the main character again, and because Ohba possessed the wheel to hate women, Touta Matsuda (Peeta Mellark) got dragged along for the ride. District 12 has no female victors.

i love that hbomberguy saw the death note posts and it's seemingly got him to revisit his death note video script he apparently has, and i will watch the shit out of it, but i am scared about what he will say lol. like I'd already completely cooled on sherlock for years, and had seen and agreed with a lot of criticism, but his video on it made me retroactively hate it. I'm very much on the side of "anything that brought you happiness was worth it in the end, kill the part of you that cringes" etc, but damn, there really is a part of me now that definitely cringes whenever i see things from the show (and the fact that a couple of my most popular posts were for that fandom). i dedicated years of my life to it

death note was my first anime that i sought out to watch online, my first pirating experience (save for a few failed attempts at limewire), and my first fandom back in 2008. i know it's not perfect, and we all take the piss out of it today and talk about what a mess it was, but it's still a classic and it holds up and i recommend it to everyone if it comes up.

now im hoping whatever harry says about it, if he ever ends up publishing it, it's not gonna totally ruin it for me!!!! T-T
