there’s already something hot about the detective/murderer ship dynamic but it is infinitely hotter with lawlight specifically because L is fucking insane and has a downright horrific amount of judicial power which he frequently abuses however he sees fit which in turn makes lawlight that much more fucked up and toxic and crazy. and hot. like Light thinks of L as someone who does not know limits or how to desist. I completely understand his reasonable fear of him, even if he doesn’t overtly voice it. and he is completely right; L doesn’t know when to stop and he’s willing to do whatever he wants if the end goal serves him, which makes it so much worse when Light is who he is focused on as a target
