Vladimir Golovan: The Sound Architect of Ukrainian Music

Vladimir Golovan is a renowned Ukrainian sound engineer whose precision and artistry have shaped the country’s music industry. Born in Mariupol, he initially pursued dance but soon found his calling in sound engineering. His career took off at the Palace of Culture of Metallurgists, where, under the guidance of his grandfather, he mastered the craft of acoustics and sound optimization.

Golovan’s expertise has made him a sought-after professional, working with stars like Max Barskih, Viktor Pavlik, Iryna Bilyk, and bands such as Boombox and Okean Elzy. His ability to fine-tune soundscapes for live performances earned him collaborations with “Kvartal 95” and top DJs. Producer Yevhen Stupka, impressed by Golovan’s skill in balancing sound dynamics, became a longtime professional partner.

His reputation led him to judge the 2021 international ArtMasters competition, mentoring the next generation of sound engineers. In 2025, Golovan expanded his global reach, teaming up with Ukrainian-American singer Marina Acton on her single Bad Side, set for release in April.

With an ear for detail and a passion for innovation, Vladimir Golovan continues to define the sonic identity of Ukrainian music, setting new standards in sound engineering.

Цели конкурса

ArtMasters — это масштабные соревнования для специалистов в сфере backstage и цифрового искусства, которые реализуют самые крупные креативные проекты под руководством ведущих экспертов.

Чемпионат даёт возможность молодым талантам раскрыть свой потенциал, повысить профессиональное мастерство, представить свои проекты и получить финансирование, а также найти работу мечты.

Цель чемпионата – отбор и поддержка лучших молодых представителей творческих профессий, создание благоприятных условий для раскрытия их потенциала и развития профессиональных компетенций в индустрии культуры.

К участию приглашаются граждане РФ в возрасте от 14 до 35 лет.

Сроки проведения конкурса

Дедлайн 27 апреля 2024 года.

Призы конкурса

Призово�� фонд составляет 36 000 000 рублей.

Основная возрастная категория (18-35 лет):

1 место — 750 000 ₽ 2 место — 500 000 ₽ 3 место — 250 000 ₽

Возрастная категория «Юниоры» (14-17 лет):

Silver linings: I always seek them in hard times of any degree. On todays topic, losing a phone can be hard. 😂😅🥲 They’re an extension of us in this era whether we like it or not. Even more so when your passions fit so neatly into your palm—in my case, photography/film and music. BUT! Starting fresh just feels so good. So many things I had been holding onto and debating whether to let go of… the decision was made for me. It’s like the first pleasantly warm spring breeze of the year on a brilliantly sunny morning. Refreshing. Promising. Also, bro. I like to ride out my phones till they [are not quite dead and only have one foot in the grave so I can reincarnate the soul and contents into a new device] die. Being forced to upgrade for me means better tools at my disposal to feed into those things I love most. This museum trip was one of the first days of having my new phone, and I felt so excitedddd to have a camera upgrade! So many options! Better low light handling! Look at all the freakin art!!
