Haha well, the only fics on Ao3 that I've posted are all GF. Old Habits Die Hard was my first (nearly finished. Just gotta finish and post chapter 12)

My first ever fanfic was written back in 2021, was the first thing I ever shared with people, and it was Avatar the Last Airbender. I don't know where the documents for all my ATLA fanfics are (they're extensive) and honestly...

:) my friend in the minecraft server got me a whole bunch of nametags so i was able to name everyone finally! Mom and Dad: Delilah and Thompson. Babies: Georgia, Penny, Butterscotch, and Atlas. And Cousins: Gorganzola, Keroppi, Jericho, and Olive (I swear there's one more green frog? but i can't remember rn)

I also named my axolotls Dipper and Mabel, and I have 2 dogs now named Kovu and Dorothy :)

Welcome to my Brazilian au, I made this character sheet of Mona Lisa or Y'Gythgba as a Mosaic Axolotl.

First, Mona is NOT brazilian, she's just part of my au, but I'll explain

Yes, the salamandrians are part of my au, but they'll only appear way later.

All the citizens of salamandria are inspired in different regions and cultures from where the species of salamander is from on Earth (kinda what ATLA did). And since I've decided to make Mona an axolotl, I made some research on mayan art

She punches first and ask later, only wielding a sword and not a shield, 'cuz she's all attack and no defense (I think it makes sense, since axolotls have an amazing cure factory and can regrow any limbs, guills, hearts, etc)

In this au, she's not a Liutenent, she's just a young soldier that signed up for a young talent/soldiers program to help her planet

Yes, her name is Y'ythgba and Rafael knows how to pronounce it, but he gave this nickname 'cause she (and all the other axolotls) have the "Mona Lisa smile)

Ok, ya know what? This is already a weird crossover AU, is there any Miraculous that focuses on healing? We can invent it if we have to, but that’s what I keep thinking of. Like, the Axolotl Miraculous, works with Healing, but also Disease. That's what I'd give Katara. Or is it just "vibes", like. Katara could also do the Turtle, she's a pretty protective presence.

Only Miraculous with any healing is the Ladybug, but I am adamant that Sokka gets the Ladybug.

I don't really want to bring in homebrew Miraculous and just keep it to the main set.

The Turtle could work too. Hm.

So my rules on giving characters a Miraculous is one of two things. Either

1.) This is a skill the character is already good at. Take Sokka and the Ladybug. He's a good strategist and an inventor, so being the leader and using Lucky Charm is good for him. Another example is in the LL AU, I have Marinette with the Fox because she's a creative person which lends to her ability to craft Illusions.

or

2.) This is a skill the character needs to learn. Kinda like what I said about Azula with the Fox: learning the more 'fun' and lighthearted side to trickery. Compare this again to LL and me giving Mylene the Turtle: she's not a natural protector but her arc is about learning to step up into that role.

Ofc I will make exceptions if it's 'funny'.

My thing with Katara is that she doesn't fit either category. None of the Miraculous really play to her pre-existing strengths.

But at the same time I'm.... not sure where her arc would go? Because Katara's story and character arcs are very much tied into atla and the worldbuilding and plot in ways that some of the others aren't. Like I can translate Sokka's issues or the Fire Family drama into the new setting, but not Katara's as well.

(I have this same issue with making bnha aus lmao).

Overall I think story-wise having a LB/CN sibling duo with Sokka and Katara makes the most sense to me so I may default to that.
