I finally figured out what I want to do with Nocturns backstory and so, I turned him into a previously rich bot with a superiority complex.

When he first joined the autobots ( after being humbled too much by Megatron ofc) he and bumblebee hated eachother a lot 🥰

Redemption arc will happen DW but I’m to lazy to explain the lore rn, maybe in some other post 😔

OC Redesign Moonstone

I just finished working on Moonstone's redesign/ref sheet! She is now ready for ArtFight YAYYYY! I'm actually in shock with how fast I got this done I normally dislike making ref sheets but I really enjoyed making this. I'll probably will start making my OC SwiftStrike's ref sheet next.

Anyways here are her old designs from 2024 (when I first began drawing Transformers)

Here she is!! Sealight's redesign thanks to the help of one of my great friends 😭💜

I also adjusted Sealight's backstory to fit her new look: Sealight is now part of a specific caste that lives outside of Cybertron which focuses a lot on studying and preserving organic life, and not super ingrained with the Autobot propaganda. A few of them occasionally go over to Cybertron to stay up to date with the current events. Sealight was chosen to go so she experiences a huge culture shock going to Cybertron and becomes very reserved and shy because of it. That's how she and Longarm get close since she was placed in Intel instead of the Science division like she wanted. But Longarm freaks out on the idea Sealight could figure him out so he has her with the other Elite Guard going to Earth to throw her off and that's how she meets Prowl :))

As for the comic...I'm not sure if that's their first canon interaction but it was something silly and I had to draw it. BUT SHE IS SMALLER THAN PROWL. SHE JUST HAPPENS TO BE ON HIGHER GROUND RN

• Back on Cybertron, they originally known as AQR-11, one of many dockworkers for a shipping company.

• AQR-11 always wanted to go out into the universe rather than be stuck in a warehouse.

• They chose their name "Aquari" from their ID number, AQR l, which is an acronym for the constellation Aquarius.

• Although an Autobot, they are in a relationship with a decepticon, an OC of ny bf 👀💕✨️ (Love Language: Synchronized Flight Formation)

OC Redesign Cherry Bomb

Cherry Bomb won the vote on who I should redesign next! So here is her completed redesign/ref sheet! I have now put her on ArtFight! I ended up taking a small break on working on this for a few days due to not getting much sleep. But I finished it yesterday and I really happy with how it turned out!

I actually had to redraw this a few times cause I kept accidently leaving the symmetry tool on and drawing all over my finished line art.

One of the most fun things I've discovered about creating a Transformers OC is figuring out how they would fit into different continuities:

I know the only female Autobots in G1 (before Arcee's introduction) were Elita One's squadron who stayed behind on Cybertron to continue the fight. But I'd have Whiplash and Dustoff be part of Optimus Prime's team that arrived on Earth, most likely appearing in Season 2 (like all the other new Autobots introduced out of nowhere in that season LOL). Maybe have them go to a lesbian bar. They'd also survive the movie because I don't do Bury Your Gays here.

Been a loooong time since I've watched Animated, but I feel Whiplash and Dustoff would both be members of the Elite Guard who come to Earth with Ultra Magnus, Jazz and Sentinel Prime. Dustoff is one of the very few flying Autobots but rarely uses her vehicle mode for combat. As a result, Sentinel tends to make disparaging comments about her 'cowardice' which she rolls her eyes at and Whiplash butts heads with him over. Sari learns they're a couple and recommends to Whiplash some of the most popular romantic spots for a date during their stay in Detroit... which keeps getting interrupted by Decepticons.

Whiplash: (pummelling Blitzwing so hard, his face spins around) Let... me... have... a... quiet... Earth... date... with... my... sparkmate!

The two of them would join Team Prime midway through Season 1 of Prime, with Dustoff becoming an understudy for Ratchet and getting hand-to-hand combat lessons from Whiplash, who learns to be less reckless in turn. Dustoff stays behind with Fowler when Autobot Base comes under attack, getting captured but managing to escape with Wheeljack. They split up so she can find Whiplash, both removing the tracking devices Starscream planted on them. To avoid detection, Dustoff becomes a Triple Changer by scanning a Humvee and instead finds Ratchet, talking him into joining Raf and Bumblebee at the Harbinger while Whiplash meets up with Bulkhead, Miko and Wheeljack.

In One, Whiplash is one of the miners while Dustoff works in Iacon as a medic. Relationships between cogless and transforming bots are legal but still frowned upon by some, not that that stops them from meeting up regularly for a drink at Maccadam’s Old Oil House. Dustoff later gets Whiplash and other bots to safety when they get injured by falling rubble from Megatron's destruction of Iacon, leading to her eventual position as the Autobot medevac officer.
