Ugh... The BBC Has Caved

There was once a time when I hated my local broadcasters. They carried nothing but authoritarian propaganda and worship for Dear Leader. I escaped the crap by bringing up BBC Radio 4 Longwave on a WebSDR in the Netherlands. Objective news, fun features, and sometimes a bit of droll British humor.

Things are different now, by far. Yesterday was the day I wiped the BBC from my bookmarks, because their news was so offensive I was prompted go vomit. Goddamn them; they were sane-washing Trump's ICE war against brown people all over America, and the military occupation of parts of Los Angeles.

If the BBC is going to make Trump seem reasonable, then fuck the BBC.

BBC renews radio deal with Cricket Australia

BBC renews radio deal with Cricket Australia The BBC has renewed its long-standing partnership with Cricket Australia for radio rights within the UK for the next five years. The agreement covers exclusive UK radio rights for all international women’s and men’s cricket in Australia, including the respective men’s and women’s Ashes series this summer, and non-exclusive rights for the KFC Big Bash League (BBL) and Rebel Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) up to and including the 2021-22 season. This agreement means cricket coverage from Australia will continue on Test Match Special on BBC Radio 5 live Sports Extra and BBC Radio 4 Longwave. BBC Radio’s coverage will also be available on Cricket Australia’s CA Live platform.
