akira is very good at being deadpan but also this IS a very cute alien and i think it is hard to fault him for being more flustered than usual! rich is pretty confident on his own but this world is very big and very confusing and he’s taken to looping his arm through akira’s so he doesn’t get lost and akira is Fine With This he’s fine, getting goosebumps when someone comes within a foot of you is normal human behavior don’t even worry about it haha

TITUS IS ABSOLUTELY AN EMBARRASSING DAD ABOUT IT...rich might be strange, and he never takes off his cool visor, and he is never not dancing in a way that could EASILY be pinpointed as otherworldly, but he’s a sweet man and he has fun with akira and that’s all that matters! if titus worldwide (the rest of it, that isn’t akira) knew that rich was Definitively An Alien, they have a whole procedure of dealing with that, and so akira’s kinda stressed over both keeping rich’s secret AND not letting rich realize how dangerous things could get for an alien here, on this fuckplanet. he wants to help rich fix his ship and get back home, and he wants rich to know akira is trustworthy so he doesn’t get scared and leave and end up stuck here forever

but they have a great time together!!! rich loves human music and akira sneaks out to his crashed ship in the woods, where rich hangs out because it IS kinda home now, and plays new music for him and they dance together in between repair work and research and goofing around and akira is so so so SO smitten oh geez. rich takes off his visor around akira and he’s got like FOUR EYES and they glow in the dark and he smiles and his teeth glow too and it’s strange and alien and akira has never ever ever fallen head over heels like this before holy shit. holy SHIT. rich will look over akira’s shoulder and help him work with the ship parts and guide his hands and make sure he’s alright and the entire time akira is paying attention of course but also very very flustered

they goof off together a lot and they’re both pretty cuddly people, rich’s temperature regulation is weird because he’s an alien, and he is warm in both personality and in temperature and when nights are cold akira just clings to him and rich thinks it’s the cutest thing. rich will talk in his own extraterrestrial language because akira tries to learn it and when he tries to speak it it’s really sweet, and UUUUUUU THIS IS JJUST SELF INDULGENT AND FLUFFY AND STUFF I JUST.....I........IM..........A CREAMPUFF MARINA..................
