#BOE Alternative Lilypad

THE LADIES

The three first mares from the left has grown up, and into beautiful, mature mares. Or almost mature. They are 3 yo as of today. From left to right we have BOE Moonlit Debate, BOE Alternative Lilypad, BOE Chapline, BOE Alreda and soon to be retired mare BOE Fashion Forward! Her son BOE Lady's Protector will be taking over for her next month.

These are of course not all the mares at our stable, we are missing about six of them in this picture not limited to BOE Brillianta, BOE Floretta, RRS Dantonia and Ciao Bella BL, Sparrow's Dandelion and Kalliope T.

BAY'S HACK (KINDA)

Normally I am not the one riding Chapline, but I wanted to see what she was like, and somehow we accidentally (not by purpose anyways) ended up on an almost exclusive bay hack today. All the horses except from Rome (BOE Moonlit Debate) was bay, which was a kinda fun coinsidence - with me riding Chapline, Ismael riding Moonlit Debate, Neha riding Alreda and Vigga riding Alternative Lilypad.

It was a very fun and relaxing hack, and I enjoyed talking to Ismael. Normally we don't get a lot of time to talk, but this hack was full of jokes and fun stories. Man I have missed having a good, long talk with this man!

SECOND BATCH OF BABIES (ONE IS VERY TINY)

The last two babies has been born! First one up is a foal whose dam is one of Narcisa's favorite mares, GE Rosebank, covered by RM Altair (owned by Jean Pierre Durant). The fillie's name is kinda work in progress, but right now she is BOE Alternative Lilypad. Lilypad is kinda stuck with me, while I am not completely satisfied with the "Alternative" part. If you have any suggestions though, they are VERY welcome!

She is a beautiful Bay (EE AA) Oldenburg and this one will definitely not grey out, which fact I am very satisfied with. His Grandsire is RM Jordão, and her great-grandsire is RM Ambassador, which means she has Lusitano blood in her veins from the point of her grandsire.

The other baby is a very tiny one! This is BOE Kissed by Dawn, and she is a Black Tobiano (Ee aa nT) Shetlandspony. She is after our own boy BOE Kismet's Keener and SBS Whisper Dawn from Abigail Rose, and has our own boy BOE Kaki Golden as grandsire and BOE Sunny Day as granddam. This is a second generation homebred, as her sire Kismet's Keener was also bred by us!
