Awakening of Roku NEEDS these two jokes

If The Awakening of Roku (assuming Roku book 2 is still called that) doesn't have a "there's only one bed trope" with Ta Min (or, heaven forbid, Sozin or someone else). I'm cancelling it.

It's a running gag/tradition and it needs to be HONORED damnit! This and a Saowon shenanigan! Both running gags/traditions need to appear at least ONCE in ONE of the two books! And we obviously didn't get it in RoR! >_>

RR doesn't even need to play it completely straight either, he can just make a one off joke ("Hey there's only one bed! Uh oh!" "Actually my room's over here" "Oh ok....")! Yee used the trope in Yangchen to further a fake dating ploy, and played it romantically straight (lol) for Kyoshi and Rangi. Just play around with it RR, just keep the tradition alive!

Same goes for something with the Saowons. You can literally just say "Roku thought the Saowon person was annoying" and you'll have fulfilled your quota.

Maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions. Maybe you've been blocked for a while now because of the way that you've spoken to people in the past month, myself included. Nothing to do with any rant you've made on Tumblr. I'm a 36 year old mother who doesn't have time for bullshit. I shouldn't even have to be on here defending myself, but it's felt necessary to avoid the lies that have been spoken about me today. I'm not the only one sick of the bullshit either. It's time to grow up a bit. That's the last I'll say on the matter.

I'm still thinking about Sorry to Bother You and frankly always will be.

Detroit's performance piece will especially stick with me forever, because it is so brilliant in what it encapsulates. The facade she puts on to gather everyone there together with her own "white voice" only to create a piece that utterly obliterates the facade.

And the answer is a resounding yes to the first two, and I think in that moment we really do see why she loves Cassius and why she ultimately chooses him. Because Squeeze buys into the art of it, puts the message over the person, and that's appealing for a second, right?

But Cassius looks at her being hurt and says no, I can't stand here and watch this happen to you. And that's why she loves him.
