Summary: After four years, you have been let go from your job. Taking a chance you head to Vegas to make the best of a bad situation. A situation that only gets worse.

“Sorry Miss Y/N, but we are going to have to let you go,” your boss’ monotone voice echoed in your ears. 

Four years of your life, wasted. Not that you particularly enjoyed the job, but it paid your bills. And that was what counted at the end of the day. Now, what were you going to do? Your parents had already said your room was still yours if you needed to move back in. It was sweet of them really, but you didn’t want to move back in with them, you wanted your freedom and you wanted to be on your own. But what other options did you have without losing everything? 

“Your separation pay will come through at the end of the week,” your ears perked up. The separation pay would be a nice amount no doubt. This financial firm didn’t come without its perks. 

“Very good, sir. Thank you for four years,” you said, trying not to let the bitter tone enter into your voice. 

“You can show yourself out. See that your desk is cleaned out by the end of the shift,” he said, turning his back to you.

Quickly you let yourself out, heading toward your desk. 

“So, what did dickhead want?” Namjoon, your table mate, asked.

“I got canned,” you whispered, gathering up your stuff.

“What? No way, let me go in there,” he said, preparing to stand up before you stopped him.

“Joon, honestly, it’s fine. I’ve wanted to quit for a while anyways,” you confess.

“But, Y/N, it’s bullshit that they fire you. If that bimbo in the receptionist office can keep her job, you can too,” he said, fuming.

“Joon, seriously, I’m fine. Do you see me crying over it?” You asked, smiling.

“You’re sure you’re good?”

“I’m positive,” you answered.

“Okay, if you say so,” he responded.

“Just let me get my shit and blow this popsicle stand,” you said, grinning at him.

“Whatever you say, Y/N, I’ll miss you here,” he said, sitting back in his seat.

“You’re acting like you don’t have my number or something,” you said, laughing lightly.

“It won’t be the same without you here to annoy,” he said, giving you a dimpled smile.

“I know, you like to do that a lot,” you remarked, throwing a good natured glare his way.

“Well, I’m good at what I do then,” Namjoon stated.

“Which should be working, don’t need you following me out the door,” you said, sighing as you collected the remainder of your important items.

The rest could be left here, consider it a gift to the next unfortunate person who has to work here.

“Hey, text me okay?” He said, giving you a little wave.

“Will do, see ya Joon,” you said, returning the wave before heading towards the door.

Two weeks later you found yourself on a plane heading to Las Vegas.

How did you find yourself here? Well, it was a rather impulsive decision. But you and Namjoon had decided to take the rest of your earnings from your job and make a vacation out of it. You were taking a week in the US and spending time in Vegas to get a little wind in your sails before moving back in with your parents. 

Did that take what little wind you had in your sails out? Maybe, but that's besides the point. This was your way of giving the middle finger to your old job by blowing your money on something less than recommended. 

A trip to Vegas was exactly your soul needed after four years of behaving like a good little desk minion. Years of filing and coffee runs, all going to be blown to smithereens. Thank God for that too. You didn’t want to spend another minute thinking about what had been, only what was going to be the best week of your life. 

You had a couple friends that lived in the states, and you were going to meet up with them after landing and unpacking at your hotel. Jessi and Lily were waiting anxiously for you to arrive. 

Jessi: Bitch, I can’t believe you’re actually coming. After all these years of begging, pleading and what not, you’re dumbass comes here on a whim. But, still excited to see youuu xoxoxo.

YOU: R00D. I was working and busy with trying to further my career that capped off at a measly management position. Where the hell were you m8?

LILBITCH: Okay, it is like midnight here so can yall quit your yapping and do the sleep sleep? K thnx.

YOU: Sorry Lily, Jessi decided to be a boob in the group chat. Rest young one.

Jessi: ExCuSE? I Did NO SucH thInG?!?

YOU: You did! And are still doing it!

You shut your phone off and let your head rest against the cushioned seat. Letting the rumble of the cabin lull you to sleep.

“Y/N!!!!” Jessi squealed as she came running for you. 

You’d slept most of the plane ride, but now you were stiff in the joints and her frame colliding with your own sent the two of you tumbling. 

“Oof, Jess! What the hell man, you’re gonna break me,” you whined as the older woman started squeezing the daylights out of you. 

“Alright pda couple break it up,” Lily’s voice filled your ears. 

You stood quickly and brought her into a hug too. 

“It’s good to see you,” you whispered, rubbing her back as you separated.

“Good to see you too, have you lost weight?” she asked, making you spin around for confirmation.

“Maybe maybe not, I wasn’t exactly eating the healthiest diet when I was at the firm so, maybe I just gained it in different places,” you laughed. 

There was a prickle on the back of your neck. Your guard went up and you looked around. But didn’t see anyone staring. Although, you were uncomfortable.

“Come on, let’s get going. We have a lot to do before tonight!” Jessi said, practically dragging you out of the terminal.

“Jesus Jessi I have ligaments and bones, those things can break you know!” you whined, but she didn’t relent. 

Climbing into the car you still felt a chill of fear run up your spine. But didn’t let it bother you. Right now was about you and your friends, not being a little paranoid after a long flight. Plus, you were abroad, there were tons of people around and that was more than likely throwing your radar off a little bit. 

“Okay, mall here we come!” Lily said with excitement in her voice. 

“But what about heading to the hotel to unpack?” you asked. 

“Oh, we cancelled your reservation. Did you know you saved almost a thousand bucks if you stay with me?” Jessi said.

“Huh? What do you mean? Guys I don’t wanna burden you!” 

“You aren’t going to be, our most recent roommate has vacated the room and left it in perfect condition. It can be yours if you decide you wanna stay for a while?” Lily suggested with a brow wiggle.

“You two are impossible,” you complained, leaning your head against the window.

“Impossibly smart,” Jessi narked. 

You sighed as you watched the cityscape pass you by. Jessi and Lily chatted about nothing it seemed like, but it was comforting that you all fell back into rhythm so quickly after so long of not seeing one another. It made your heart squeeze painfully at the thought of being apart. But you were here now, and that’s what mattered. 

Lily was telling you all about her work at the little cafe she co-owns. She handles the customer service end while her partner handles the more... businessy aspect. 

“And then one of my servers swears she saw a ghost of an old lady in the back room. The building used to be a house but now we have renovated it and turned it into the cafe like I’ve told you. But, I looked into it. And a lady did actually die in there in the fifties. How fucking crazy is that!? And, get this, if it hadn’t happened within the last ten years, the realtors don’t have to divulge that information. How fucked,” Lily sighs. 

Jessi pulls into the parking lot of a large shopping center and you girls all get out, wallets at the ready. 

Linking arms with them you smiled brightly and started walking towards the door. 

About an hour later, your feet were killing you and you hadn’t even tried anything on, much to the dismay of your friends. 

“Come on Y/N, you need to at least try one thing on in this next shop,” Jessi pleaded. 

“Why? I packed clothes you know?” you said, 

“And knowing you they won’t be attention getting enough,” Lily commented.

“Rude, you don’t know what I got,” you scoffed. 

Lily rolled her eyes and picked you up off the comfortable bench you had settled down on and now you were being dragged off of it like a leech of an arm. 

“Come on Y/N, I have the perfect place in mind,” Jessi announced, leading the pack towards another stylish little boutique. 

“If I try something on will you guys quit pestering me?” you whined out. 

“Maybe, depends on if we like it or not,” Lily’s voice rang in your ear. 

Somewhere, deep down, you knew letting them drag you to a shopping mall was a bad idea. But you hadn’t realized how bad until they had you dressed to the gills in sequins, sparkles and everything glittery. 

“Guys this stuff is itchy!” you said, itching your thigh, that was barely covered, for emphasis. 

“Oh come on, Y/N, you look great! It really shows off those curves!” Jessi complimented, spinning you around.

“I brought the same style of dress, but in a popping red color. It will compliment her eyes for certain,” the lovely assistant of the boutique said. Of course they were trained to reach for the priciest piece they had, and tell you it would look good on you. But hey, A for effort. 

“Oooh! Y/N, try it on, try it on!” Jessi yelled. 

“Shh, we are in a store!” you scolded. 

“God you’re worse than my mom,” Jessi rolled her eyes.

“Am not. I’m just trying to contain my two four year olds!” you said exasperated.

“As the youngest isn’t it your responsibility to be rambunctious. Getting into all kinds of trouble?” 

“That’s what we’re here for Lily, she’s had a stick up her ass for too long called adulting,” Jessi teased.

“Remind me why I’m friends with you again?” you asked, teasing right back.

Jessi just laughed and went to go peruse the racks again. Lily snuggled up beside you and wrapped her arms around you tightly. 

“I missed you,” she whispered.

Smiling you gave her a tight hug. “I missed you guys too.”

Jessi came back with a sexy white number that has cut off sleeves that draped off your shoulder elegantly and it was a little longer than the others they’d thrown you in during that afternoon.

Seeing your eyes looking at the dress with interest, Jessi knew she had won. 

 “Wanna know the best part?” Jessi asked, raising a perfectly sculpted brow in your direction.

“What?” you asked. 

“It was on the sale rack!” she smirked. 

“Okay give it here,” you said, holding your hand out. Jessi smiled and plopped the dress in your hand without hesitation. 

You shuffled into the dressing room and pulled the garment on. You looked at yourself in the mirror and almost fell over. This wasn’t you. The girl looking back at you was a beautiful woman, someone with poise and elegance. Or was that what the dress conveyed? Because you felt almost empowered in this dress...

“Okay, show us what you got!” the girls said, waiting for you outside the dressing room.

Stepping down onto the floor the girls were silent. 

“Well?” you asked, feeling a little self conscious at all their staring. 

“Y/N, if you don’t buy that dress then I will and force you into it tonight,” Jessi said, still staring.

“Does it look alright?’ you asked, tugging at the fabric.

“Yes now quit fidgeting! We’re trying to figure out what shoes, make up and hair we need to do,” Lily said, settling your hands at your side. 

“I think a red pump,” Jessi said, running off to one side of the store.

“And a red lip to match!” Lily echoed. 

“I love the way you think,” Jessi said back.

You looked down at your bare feet on the floor and sighed. 

“I don’t know, should we go clubbing tonight? I just got here and kinda want to-”

“Not bail out on us and have the fun you wanted to have by coming to Vegas?” Lily offered. 

You sighed and rubbed your face. Jessi came back with a crimson red pair of heels that already made your feet hurt. But you decided to quiet down and just enjoy the time you had with your friends. It was so nice to bicker with them and laugh, it really made your heart soar to be here with them. Even if they were forcing you into some uncomfortable shoes. At their cores, they were great girls, and you were so lucky to have them in your life. 

“There, see how it lengthens your legs?” Jessi pointed out. 

“See how it will destroy my ankles?” you said back.

They just laughed and you guys took everything to the checkout counter. The clerk cashed you out and you ladies were on your way. 

“I’m so glad you bought the shoes too! They look so killer with that dress, and we’re going to make you the prettiest thing at the club tonight! Not that you need much help,” Lily smirked, linking her arms with yours.

You shoved her a little but walked down the hall with her happily.

Until you felt that chill that had run down your spine earlier, reappear. You stopped in your tracks and turned, certain that someone was watching you. But no one was there... It made unease churn in your stomach. Jessi seemed to notice your hesitation and came over beside you. 

“Something wrong?” she asked, trying to look in a similar direction as you.

“No no, it’s nothing. I’m fine,” you smiled weakly, going to move forward.

“If you’re sure,” Lily answered, following close behind.

“Yeah,” you confirmed.

After that you only went to one more department store and found nothing of interest, so you guys decided to call it. Walking back to the car, Jessi ran ahead to make sure that it was unlocked. Lily and you walked at an even pace, just enjoying each other's company.

Loading everything into the car you took off down the road for Jessi and Lily’s house.

Slowly, the sensation of being watched faded from your mind. And the three of you went back to your bickering and teasing. 

Finally, you pulled into the driveway. 

Jessi and Lily were quick to help you with your luggage, making sure everything got into the spare bedroom. And then, the work began. 

“Babe, we love you, but you gotta take a shower,” Jessi said, pinching her nose for effect.

“Rude, I literally took a shower before I boarded the plane,” you told them.

“Yeah, and you smell like plane and food court, so go. Cleanse thyself,” Lily commented, looking at her phone.

“Fine fine,” you agreed, heading towards the bathroom. 

Jessi handed you the dress and some undergarments and went into the kitchen. 

The hot water felt heavenly on your body, washing off the grim of travel and shopping. It was nice. The foamy soap on your head invigorating you. You shaved every part of your body known to man, and woman to be honest. 

But when you stepped out of the shower. Instead of the normal underwear you had picked out, was something else. 

Sorry, but we had to burn those granny panties. Wear this instead! We bought them today while you were busy being one with the bench. We know they’ll fit you!

Jessi & Lily

“Those little shits!” you exclaimed, looking down in despair at your underwear option now. 

Pink lacy panties were set on the bathroom counter. How did you not even hear them come in!? You looked at the bra and were certain that you’d be able to see a nipple through the lace that was supposed to be covering your shit. But apparently the quest to get you laid was a serious endeavor in their minds. So, to humor them, you put on the garments. That, in fact, fit perfectly.

“Those creeps,” you shuddered, wondering how your friends had known your exact size.

Pulling on the dress you bought earlier, you marveled at yourself in the mirror. You looked really good. And just as before, you felt as if you could conquer the world, in just this dress. But, you knew the only thing you’d conquer was maybe a bar scene, which would work. For now.

Walking out you found the nasty culprits of the underwear heist sitting around a vanity full of makeup.

“Wanna tell me why I’m wearing underwear that barely covers anything?” you said, venom in your tone.

“Because you put it on,” Jessi said, with a smirk.

“You guys are so fucking nosy,” you whined, throwing your headback in a mock tantrum.

“We aren’t nosy enough, when was the last time you got dicked down?” Jessi asked, suddenly serious.

Scandalized you made a squeak of discomfort. 

“Wh-Why the sudden curiosity??” you asked.

“Because, we gotta know how out of practice you are,” Lily said, as if it were obvious.

“I’m not out of practice!” you shrieked. 

“So it was recently then?” Jessi smiled. 

“No! I mean-shut up!” you cried.

“When was the last time Y/N,” Lily said calmly.

“Three years ago,” you huffed, crossing your arms in defense.

The two girls almost choked. 

“THREE YEARS!?” Jessi screamed.

“I’m right here, there’s no need to scream,” you said.

“BUT Y/N, THAT’S THREE YEARS,” Jessi yelled again.

“I can tell time, Jessi,” you commented.

“How? You’re practically a nun,” Lily snorted.

“I am not!” you defended.

“Sweetheart, listen we are doing this out of love,” Jessi shushed you, cradling you to her chest. “We will help you. Sit down.”

“This is all very offensive, just so ya’ll know,” you said, pointing to them with an accusing finger.

“Shut up and sit down,” Lily said, grabbing her hair appliances. 

You settled into silence, letting the girls do whatever they wanted to you. You found it was easier this way than fighting with them the whole time. As much as you loved them, these girls were bossy and pushy. But, you wouldn’t have them any other way. They helped even you out, making sure you got out there and did have some fun in your life. 

Lily was in the process of doing your hair and styling it the way she thought would work the best, while Jessi was deeply focused on doing your makeup. You saw the crimson colored lipstick come out and knew it was as Lily recommended earlier.

Jessi painted it on your lips with a precision that was awe inspiring. You just stayed still and let them continue their work. Enjoying the transformation happening before your eyes. Before, you were a nervous little office worker. Now, you were a girl on a mission. What mission was still to be decided, but it made you feel powerful. Not saying that you didn’t feel powerful without it, but it was nice to get dressed up every once in a while and to feel sexy. 

Lily put down the hair products and smiled at her work. 

“You look fucking hot,” she pointed out. 

“Don’t make her smile. I'm working on the concealer around her lips,” Jessi whined.

“Sorry sorry, just, she’s really beautiful,” Lily smiled. 

“We been knew,” Jessi smirked. 

“Right right,” Lily said, going to gather the tights and shoes.

“Thanks Jessi,” you said as you stood up, stretching lightly.

You felt a light smack to your butt and you smiled back at her. 

“Sorry, couldn’t resist,” she giggled. 

“Alright ladies, we need to make a game plan for the night!” Lily announced as she walked back into the room.

“What do you mean?” you asked, raising a brow at her. 

“Who wants to get laid, who wants to wing woman and who wants to be the sober one,” Lily said.

“Well, Y/N is the getting laid one,” Jessi confirmed.

“Did you ask Y/N if she wants to get laid?” you asked, pointing to yourself.

“Fine, Y/N, do you not want me to find you a fine specimen of man that could knock your socks off in the bedroom?” Jessi said.

“Well... I mean, it’s not that I don’t want that but...”

“But what?” Lily asked, coming to sit next to Jessi.

“I’m shy, I don’t really attract people. I’m more of a hang out in the corner until I’m drunk enough to approach someone type of gal,” you said, biting your lip.

“Don’t ruin my hard work,” Jessi warned. 

“Sorry, nervous habit,” you answered, stopping the action quickly.

“Y/N, it’s all up to you, we don’t really have to go out but I thought this is what you came here for? To let loose and have some fun before moving back with your parents. But if all you wanna do is have a girls week then we can do that too... But, honestly you look amazing and any guy would be lucky to get with you,” Lily said. 

You thought it over. 

This is what you came here for. To let loose like she said. But now that it was happening you were retreating into office worker Y/N, not the badass you wanted to be for at least a week. So, you didn’t see the harm in getting laid. Honestly, it might get some of the pent up stress out of your system, and that sounded great.

“No, you guys are right. I wanted to come here to be free for a while. What’s the point in hiding in the corner when I can be the center of attention for once in my life. I say, let’s do it,” you said, confident.

Jessi squealed excitedly and clapped her hands. 

“Yes! We are gonna be the best wingwomen you’ve ever seen Y/N! We’ll pick a great one out for you,” she said.

“She also has eyes, Jessi, she might find the one,” Lily chastised. 

“Yes, yes sorry,” she said, shuffling through her closet in disinterest.

“Okay, so Jessi and I are both going to be wingwoman. It’ll be a shared effort so we can pick the best guy,” Lily announced. 

“Right,” you said. 

“But like Lily said, you have eyes. If you find someone you’re vibing with, let us know!” Jessi said back. 

“Okay,” you agreed.

The rest of the evening was spent making out rules and exchanging safety measures to make sure no one got hurt or left behind.

This was going to be very fun.

A ctivities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?

Bruce freakin’ loves it if you end up working with Alfred during patrol. Also he likes it if you take a job at Wayne Enterprises because then the two of you get to be together all day and it means that you actually enjoy this part of him. Free time, when not spent with the boys, is generally used in physical pleasures or romantic dinners. But really, any time he gets with you he cherishes, even if he doesn’t say it.

B eauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?

Bruce admires your ability to commit, because let’s face it, you must have an iron will to stay with him this long. He thinks your kindness and determination are beautiful, and the fact that you remain with him day after day is astonishing.

C omfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

Bruce helps with firm hugs and quiet reassurance. He’s not so great with expressing himself or dealing with his own self-loathing, but he’s sure as hell not going to let you feel bad about the best person in the world - you.

D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

Bruce has no delusions about actually being able to eradicate crime in Gotham, so he dreams that one day he’ll retire, leaving Gotham in the hands of his children, and be able to dedicate his time to you. It’s an improvement from the times he thought his future was eventually dying on the job.

E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

Bruce tends to take a dominant role in the relationship, being the control freak he is, if not necessarily in the bedroom. He’s in charge of where you two go out on dates (since he’s in charge of safety) and he likes to take care of you.

F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

Bruce doesn’t like to admit he’s wrong, but he’ll definitely be quickly forgiving when you say you were wrong.

G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

He’s mostly grateful, although in moments of frustration he might lash out. He, with Alfred’s help, tries to remember how much you have sacrificed for him.

H onesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

Bruce often hides certain details from you in order to “protect” you, unless you take an interest in his vigilante life, in which case he is very honest with you and grows to depend on you. Either way, he ends up growing more honest over time.

I nspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

Bruce’s relationship with you gives him what amounts to a crash course in emotional intelligence. He slowly learns how to process and deal with things like grief, guilt, frustration, and anger while allowing himself to be happy. Basically, the longer he’s with you, the more he gets over the emotional stunting his parents’ death caused him.

J ealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

Bruce responds to most emotions by becoming surlier than usual. Unfortunately, his “jealousy” surly is very similar to his “hungry” surly, so you might accidentally get a jealous Bruce a burger and be met with annoyance (however, giving a hungry Bruce some kisses and attention seems to go over much better).

K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Bruce is a fantastic kisser. He leaves you dazed and dreamy after claiming your lips in an almost innocent way, then cupping your head and tilting you to deepen it, and not coming up for air until necessary, wanting to remain forever in that kiss.

L ove Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

He’ll come right out and tell you that he loves you. Or, alternatively, he’ll show you the Batcave, which is like a love confession because he’s showing you his true self and placing an extraordinary amount of trust in you. 

M arriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

Hell yeah. Bruce cares for you a lot, and beyond wanting to spend his life with you, he wants to make sure that you are cared for should he die and immediately modifies his will. He’ll propose in private, in a sweet and intimate moment, and then probably he will do a proposal in a public space for the press. The marriage will be tough at times, but definitely rewarding.

N icknames - What do they call their s/o?

Bruce uses the sappiest, corniest, schmaltziest nicknames he can come up with. “Sugar,” “Pumpkin,” “Honeybear,” “Snugglebug.” Sometimes he accidentally says it while still in Batman voice, and everyone around him just freezes. It happened once to Gordon and he doesn’t believe he actually heard it.

O n Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

Not obvious at all. He hides it well. Except for Alfred. And if your relationship dates back to before his parents died, Thomas and Martha totally knew one day their son would fall head over heels for you.

We were both REALLY drunk, and we hook up a lot both drunk and not, but I didnt realize he was more drunk than usual. I think you're overreacting here. Are there consent concerns that come along with an issue like this? Yes, obviously. But this is where the lines that people say aren't grey become grey mighty fast.

No. That's not how this works.

The reality is people get drunk and have sex all the time. You literally state in your own message that you frequently get drunk and smash people. Either that means you like getting drunk or having sex, or you've been sexually assaulted multiple times against your will. I'll let you decide which answer is more reasonable. The fact of the matter is, when folks get drunk, we're going to make decisions that may not always be in our best interest. That may not mean those decisions are bad, but it can mean so. We're not in our right mind.

As such, we have to come to terms with our decisions while we we were drunk when we were sober. It seems your friend here has no real concern about what happened last night. This is effectively him consenting to what he could not consent for, the same with which you could not consent for in your drunken stupor. He was so fine with what happened, that he was even willing to have sex again, this time fully sober. It clearly doesn't bother him.

A question to be asked here is whether any of this bothered you? It's clear that YOU feel like you've done something bad. But again, to rephrase the question: this guy HAD SEX WITH YOU while you were BLACKOUT DRUNK. You COULD NOT CONSENT. This is a violation. But... do you care? Do you feel like your consent was taken away from you? Do you feel like you were violated in any way, or assaulted in any way? You're sober now, so you can come to that decision quite easily I hope. I'm assuming the answer is no, you understand that you were drunk, and were having a good time, and don't regret anything that happened. If that is how you feel, then hey, problem solved, because you don't actually have a concern to be concerned about. That there is a very loose consent; it's not ideal, but humans are not ideal.

What does this mean in terms of a larger conversation about consent in general? Well first, hey, maybe don't get drunk and have sex if these issues concern you. Of course, you can do whatever you want; I'm not your dad. I'm particularly a fan of drunk sex, myself - it's a lot of fun. But for those who are reading this, if these issues trouble you, or you tend to drink a lot to the point where you can't consent, make sure that you're aware of this. Make sure you take preventative measures during situations like this, if you feel like you might be predisposed to having sex. Talk about sex with people you might hook up with before you get alcohol in your system; let them know your sexual boundaries. You might cross those boundaries by accident while you're not in the right state of mind, and you might not even mind it in those times. But making clear what those boundaries are to people beforehand is the foundation of good rules of consent. You can figure out on your own whether that consent was violated.

Another thing to take into account is the larger reason why we have these discussions about consent. Two drunk people getting laid is sketchy in terms of consent, but as long as nobody is unhappy, there isn't an issue. The larger issue is when one person is drunk, and the other person is not; the situation enters a predatory stage, where one person may either mistakenly consent, or is otherwise in no right state of mind to be able to consent. This falls upon the person who is sober to make the right decisions and hopefully take care of the drunk person, waiting until the proper time and place to potentially take that next step.

Obviously, you can't just magically communicate to a predatory person, "Hey, maybe don't violate my consent pls k thnx." People who would be actively willing to sexually assault or rape someone else don't care about these things; they are just ugly people. This is why you need to be concerned and vigilant. If you're going to get drunk, maybe tone it down a little so you don't get so wasted that you are completely unaware (honestly, it's unhealthy to drink that much anyway). If you're at a party where alcohol is involved, make sure you have a buddy system in place where someone can take care of you in the event you get completely plastered. Make sure the important people in your life know your limits, and know what you're about when you're drunk; if you don't want random people hooking up with you, tell your friends to keep an eye out for strangers who may be hitting on you. Then obvious normal safety protocols, like don't go somewhere that you don't know, don't be afraid to scream for help if you need it, don't be afraid to call 911, and various other anti-sexual assault tips that you can easily find around the internet.

The final point is this though: we're all human. We don't do things that make sense - we're not perfectly rational creatures. As such, if two people get wasted and have passionate sex, that doesn't inherently mean everyone was violated. Again, this situation isn't ideal consent-wise. But if we've made a mistake and lapsed on our rules around consent, then we have to make the decision about what happened to us, and then decide what we should do about the aftermath of what has occurred. I can't speak on behalf of those who have experienced sexual abuse or rape, but I believe I can express the reality that, people who actually feel they have had something happen to them WILL KNOW, and they will most certainly not want to casually hook up afterwards. Believe victims when they speak.

In the future, do your best to follow people's consent, but understand that things do happen, and it takes a sober and understanding mind to try to piece everything together in the most mature and responsible way possible. Your friend knows his boundaries, and you know your own. If he's okay, then he's okay. If you're okay, then you're okay. If one of those things are not true for either of you, then it's time for a more diligent conversation about what that means.

yeah, yeah, i mean he’s got, like, what, five? origin stories now? so i’m gonna give you a starting point and then list off various other stories to read because Doctor Strange actually is not as present as you would believe in the comics. he generally just shows up subtly in other places and didn’t really have his own title until 2015.

the token origin story OR Doctor Strange: Strange Origins/Season One

this is my favorite Doctor Strange origin story by FAR. as in most of Strange’s origin stories, he goes to Nepal to learn sorcery underneath the tutelage of the Ancient One, Mordo betrays them all to Dormammu, Strange defeats both, the end. 

in this comic, however, Dormammu and Mordo are the subplot of two sorcerers who are just plain shit at their jobs. 

Wong and Stephen just flat out SUCK at magic. they suck. they’re so bad at it that the Ancient One is flat out Done With Their Shit™

the two of them are complete opposites so the Ancient One makes them train together and they hate it so much. Wong spends about half of the comic calling Stephen a demon and Stephen spends that time shamelessly flirting with Wong

but they get dragged on this Indiana Jones Mystical Treasure Hunt by Sofia who’s trying to track down the Three Rings of Compulsion becoming a mess of trio. 

but it’s a learning experience. Stephen teaches Wong, Wong teaches Stephen and in the middle of it all they become really close friends. Out of forty some years of comics, Wong had more personality in this volume than the entirety of his history. it’s labelled as a Doctor Strange origin story, but it’s definitely the story of Stephen and Wong. 

also, it’s just really flippin’ pretty.

ok so here goes my vERY summarized spoiler review for spider-man: homecoming so beware: (note: it’s not summarized at all LOL)

SPOILERS

i liked homecoming. it was a very delightful, light-hearted movie with a bunch of well-paced action scenes too. tom was wonderful, the whole cast of kids did an amazing job, jacob was great as ned and really killed it as pete’s bff and his IT sidekick, it was badass, as well as zendaya and her whole personality throughout the movie. marisa was also a very nice addition, it seemed peter and may are really close after everything they’ve been through and at no time did i feel she was trying too hard to be the cool aunt, bc peter knows her really well and she knows him too, they love each other so mucH AUGH. btw there was absolutely no trace of tony/may so rest in pieces.

i absolutely loved the dynamic between peter and happy. happy seemed all annoyed with peter messaging him all the time (CUTE) and everything but it was more of a big brother teasing kind of thing and it warmed my heart because he was in many scenes and in the end he reALLY SHOWED HIS GRATITUDE AND THAT HE REALLY CARED FOR PETER OH MY GOD.

then the vulture. in my opinion, michael keaton also did a genuinely amazing job as this villain, the effects were good, and the big reveal was such a tense scene, like both tom and michael were perfect in creating that frightening moment and the follow up that continued while they talk in the car. so all in all a very good villain imo. also, while in this topic of the villain, the whole third act is intense, the fight in the plane is well done, and while some people might think of the resolution as underwhelming, i liked what they did with peter’s character development, like he doesn’t really need to kill anybody, that’s the whole point, he’s a kid, he just wants to do good and save people, so it saved him a whole unnecessary ‘guilt’ plot device.

THEN WE HAVE PAPA TONY STARK. If you don’t want the whole thing about tony bc you want it to be a surprise then STOP READING RIGHT NOW ok. I literally cannot get enough of this tony. opened with a vlog of peter before and after the airport fight, he is relaxed through everything and really tries to be the cool dad with pete. he gives him the suit, says that he saw happy’s cardiogram (OMG DON’T REMIND ME OF IM3 HAPPY AND TONY’S HOSPITAL SADNESS) so don’t bother him too much (HE CARES SO MUCH ABOUT HAPPY U GUYS, IM GETTING SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT IT HELP). anyway, he stays off for a while until peter goes off in his first adventure, he saves peter’s life and guess what, we see that im3 armor mode again where he’s somewhere else in a social function (a wedding overseas???) while using the suit and he SCOLDS peter from far away like he says “i’m sorry i’m screaming, i’m dealing with a teenager” at some guest, and peter gets so offended lmao but he mentions howard a few times and you can hear him it gets him motivated to be a better role model and i’m so emotional.

ok and then right at the ferry scene he CALLS peter ok because he says hOWARD WASN’T of the congratulating type but HE WANTS TO BREAK THE CHAIN or something, but he literally says ‘BREAK’ the bad EXAMPLE and wants peter to know he did good in washington and he’s proud of him- i’m so ALIVE, and then continues saying peter is doing a great job but then figures out pete is lying to him about his whereabouts and he gets so angry and peter cuts off the call and its hilarious lmao. then he saves the ferry thing and while he makes his great entrance he’s all “hello spider-man” like in a mocking tone because he’s SO ANGRY oh my god he’s a DISAPPOINTED DAD. then peter gets angry at him bc he says “i’ve been leaving messages about this vulture guy and the weapons and if you only cared and done something this wouldn’t have happened. if you cared then you would actually be here” hinting about tony not being physically with him, only the armor, and thEN TONY STEPS OUT OF THE ARMOR (WHILE IM A BOSS ASS BITCH PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND AND HES LIKE [Surprise, bitch. I bet you thought you'd seen the last of me.]) ALL ANGRY OH MY GOD I CANNOT EMPHASIZE HIS OVERALL DAD ANGRINESS DURING THIS MOVIE. and he says something like “oh so i wasn’t listening about this” and proceeds to tell him about his daily reports and everything peter has been sending happy and tony sending the feds to the ferry, while he scolds peter in a speech that almost made me tear up, with visible pain he says that he was the ONLY ONE that believed in him (omg maybe he feels the situation is familiar oh gosh pls don’t), that everyone else said he was crazy for bringing a 14 year old into the mix, he mentions howard aGAIN, while his eyes are GLISTENING ???! OR MAYBE I GOT PLAYED BY RDJ’S EYES BUT I LITERALLY THINK HE WAS ABOUT TO CRY IN DISAPPOINTMENT OH GOD.  anyway, he takes the suit away and it;s amazing the chemistry that rdj and tom had.

fast forward to the ending. tony wants to see peter so he brings him up to the avengers facility and offers him a brand new suit and room and board and he says there are a bunch of reporters waiting for tony to present spider-man as the brand new avenger, and he seems so pleased with peter and glad he’s safe and stuff, and peter turns him down bc he wants to remain low-key for a while and UH WHY so peter walks away and he asks if it’s a test so tony just plays along and lets him leave.

PEPPERONY SCENE INCOMING. So at that moment VIRGINIA “PEPPER” POTTS walks out the press room where indeed it is full of reporters and she’s like where did peter go omg guys they’re waiting for him. and tony’s like nah honey he left, let’s think of something else for the press, turns to happy and says ‘you got the ring?’ and happy says ‘yeah, omg i’ve been carrying it since 2008′ and takes the ring out all excited, waiting for a MILLION YEARS FOR THIS TO HAPPEN, LIKE ALL OF US, HAPPY IS THE BIGGEST PEPPERONY SHIPPER I’VE EVER SEEN, and pepper is so offended that this is the proposal and tony is so embarrassed omg lmao so she’s like uhm i’ll think of something else then and proceeds to KISS tony ON THE LIPS while I’M ON FIRE cluTCHING MY HEART and SOBBING. then she leaves with a BIG SMILE on her face and she’s like ‘i can;t believe u had the ring in your pocket this whole time happy wtf’ but she’s so cute and overjoyed, and then #domestictony goes after her ‘do i open the door for you hon’ and happy tosses the ring to tony while he goes in to the press room with her to probably PROPOSE in front of everyone and the worlD OH MY GOD??????????????????????////////////// #parallel im1: i am iron man; homecoming: pepper, will you marry me?

It’s time for another installment of let me watch TV for you (LMWTV4U) where I watch TV shows so you don’t have to! Today I’ll be re-capping the latest ep of Game of Thrones, Season 7.

As always, spoiler alert! Also, reminder that I have a new feature called WHY DOES THIS SCENE EVEN MATTER or (WDTSEM?) to help us decipher those random scenes that seemingly serve no purpose. SO MUCH HAPPENED TONIGHT SO LET’S GO!!!!!

We start at Dragonstone where Khaleesi and co are still strategizin’

Khaleesi’s pals are trying to get her to attack QPC ASAP but she’s not really havin’ it. She proceeds to rip Sleevey a new a-hole for his lack of loyalty. If you’ll recall Sleevey is a schemer and is the one who basically brought together all of Khaleesi’s current crew but also was the one who sent assassins to kill Khaleesi back in season 1. She’s like will you be loyal 2 me? And he’s like sure...until I’m not anymore. And then you can kill me. And she’s like kewl good plan also will you lemme know if I’m doing a bad job as Kween and he’s like yep, sure.

Next, the red witch lady (who Bae sent away at the end of Season 6 because she burned alive this sweet bb gurl but also who brought him back from the dead) shows up on Khaleesi’s doorstep. Khaleesi is like hey what up I also speak the fanciest language and your religion is #trending back home and helping to keep people calm so… thanks. And the witch lady is like great, also FYI Bae is pretty fine and just got named “King of the North” thought you should know. Tyrion, who is like basically vice president, is like ya I remember Bae he was a kewl kid we met in Season 1. Obvi Khaleesi doesn’t know that Bae is her nephew yet but she’s like, well let’s invite him to hang out here but he’s got to #bowdownbitches to moi.

Later in the ep, we pop back by Dragonstone and Khaleesi is meeting with her peeps in the map room. Previously-traumatized Theon’s (PTT’s) sister is like we should launch our armies and dragons on Queen Pixie Cut (QPC) like right now please because she’s a shady bitch. And then the Sand Queen (she’s the one whose daughters are called the “Sand Snakes” and who stabbed her brother in law and took over down South last season) is like BTW I hate the Lannisters and my hubby got his head squeezed to death 2 seasons ago when he was defending YOUR honor, Tyrion and I’m not over it. And also Queen Makeunder’s (who got ‘sploded last season) grandma is there and she is like I miss my granddaughter and also you shouldn’t worry about burning up innocent people with dragons because QPC did it and now look at her!

Khaleesi is like I #respectmyelders but also, naw dawg. She decides PTT’s sis and Sand Queen will head down south and round up all of their troops together then they’ll attack QPC slowly because she can’t bring her Dothraki dudes and Unsullied troops over there it would be CHAOS. She does decide to send the unsullied troops to Tyrion’s hometown, Casterly Rock, to take that place over. Everyone is pretty on board with this plan except for Grandma so Khaleesi’s like DM- me, k? Khaleesi and grandma sit down and gma is like you should not trust Tyrion, this plan is dumb. Also, you ARE a dragon. And Khaleesi is like thnx for the inspo but.... I don’t wanna burn everyone up. 

Then, Khaleesi’s bestie/translator who is FLY AS HELL and has the coolest outfits and hairstyles, goes to talk to Greyworm, the leader of the unsullied army. These 2 have had the hots for eachother forever, so it’s no surprise when they FINALLY HOOKUP YAASSS GAGA! If you’ll recall the unsullied are all castrated as kids so he’s kinda embarrassed about his lack-of-package, but hottie translator is like NBD let’s do this. And so he, much like Jon Snow season 3, is like NBD lemme go down on you and she is LOVING IT. And it’s a great scene because we haven’t had nearly as much sensuality on GoT in the past few years and we needed it.

Let’s stop in Winterfell to check in on Bae and Sansa, shall we?

That letter that Khaleesi mailed to Bae has already arrived and Bae is like I know it’s legit because Tyrion put an inside joke in there that only he and I would get, OK? Sansa is like yep I was briefly married to Tyrion against both of our wills and he was v nice to me and treated me well. And No-Knuckles is there too and he’s like fire kills those ice zombies and dragons = fire and everyone is like sure but can we trust her?

Later in the ep, Bae gets the letter that his bestie, Sam, sent him in last week’s ep about how there’s heaps o’ dragonglass under dragonstone. Bae is like ok now that I’ve got these 2 very informative letters, I need to go see Khaleesi. All of his pals/ people loyal to him are like BAD IDEA, BAE don’t leave us we need you. And Sansa is like ya dude you can’t just leave and then no one’s in charge over here and he’s like LEAN IN GURL YOU DA KWEEN OF WINTERFELL. And she’s like I guess I never considered that but Ok, fine.

Then Bae stops by to visit their dad’s grave (well actually his uncle but he doesn’t know yet) and Littlefinger comes creepin’ around like hey remember how your stepmom was always mean to you? I was in love with her! And Bae’s like GTFO. And Littlefinger is like #you’rewelcome #dwaynetherockjohnsoninmoana  for helping you win this place back last season. And Bae is like don’t touch Sansa, k?

WDTSEM? We’re supposed to think Sansa might just take Littlefinger’s advice and do some sort of plot to take over from Bae, especially now that they’re fighting on the regs and now she’s all in charge. Personally, I think Sansa is smarter than that and also she’s made it quite clear that she’s grossed out by Littlefinger, esp his obsession with her mom. WHO KNOWS what will happen, but this last scene is probably supposed to plant some seeds of doubt.

We briefly touch base in King’s Landing with QPC…

She’s sitting on the coveted throne-of-swords and telling people how awful Khaleesi is. She’s like ya…. She’s gonna burn y’all up with her dragons. And everyone is like but remember last season when you burned up half of this city? Sam’s dad is there and he was a major dick last season and nothing seems to have changed in that department. QPC’s bro/lover, Jamie, is like will you please fight for us? And he’s like I would but I promised that grandma (who is currently #teamKhaleesi) that I’d be loyal to her so… no. But Jamie is like well if you change your mind I can put you in charge and you can forget about grandma. He doesn’t seem convinced but we’ll see.

Later in the ep, QPC checks out some dragon skulls with the “maester” because now that Khaleesi has these dragons, she’s gotta figure something out. He shows her this giant crossbow/catapult thing he’s made that can kill dragons and she’s like wow kewl.

We also briefly check in with Sam in “Old Town”

He’s still interning at the maester-training-academy and he’s treating Khaleesi’s former bestie, Stoney, who has that terrible skin-turning-to-stone disease. Sam’s boss is like sorry, Stoney, you’re done-zo, you have to go live with the stonemen. And Sam is like hold up, you’re a Mormont? My old boss when I was in the celibate-dude-ice-wall-guarding-army was your dad and he was a badass. Also, I had to watch these creepy dudes stab him so I owe your fam. He tries to talk about cures for the Stone disease but his boss is like SHUT UP YOU’RE JUST AN INTERN!

So Sam comes back that night and is like ok would it be kewl with you if I perform surgery on you, Stoney? I am just an intern and I’ve never practiced this before but let’s try it. And then we have to watch a truly disgusting surgical-removal of stone-skin that honestly even writing about it I’m dry heaving.

Arya is still on the road, headed to kill QPC last we checked…

She stops in to this pub to see an old friend name HOT PIE (that’s his real name, not a nickname) who is a wonderful chef. She eats some of his bread and drinks some beer and he keeps asking her questions but she is REALLY EVASIVE and won’t look him in the eye. He asks about Ladyknight, who we know is now working for Sansa full time, but who previously was trying to find Arya too. Arya is like, ya, she found me but then I had to head east to the face-swapping-assassin-training-academy. And he’s like you should check out Winterfell because I know you’re secretly a Stark. And she’s like NO THANKS, the Boltons are in charge over there and I don’t wanna get skinned alive. And he’s like NAW BITCH your bro, Bae, is in charge over there now. Which I guess in all of her travels she still didn’t know this? IDK seems fishy. But then she’s getting ready to leave and is about to keep heading to kill QPC but then CHANGES HER MIND AND HEADS TOWARD WINTERFELL! It was a very sweet moment in the episode and full disclosure I did tear up a little.

WDTSEM? Arya, in her current life as an assassin, has lost some of her humanity, as shown when she can’t even look her old pal in the eye. But finding out that her bro is still alive and that her old home, Winterfell, is in the Starks’ hands again has changed her. After meeting Ed Sheeran last week and his whole crew who reminded her of the importance of home and being with family, she’s finally deciding there are more important things in life than revenge. Which is kind of sweet.

Later, she stops for the night and is trying to stay warm by a fire when her horse starts gettin’ real spooked. Suddenly a pack of giant wolves (which are totally her brand because #stark) surrounds her, and she realizes one of them is her old pet who she set free back in season 1. She’s like hey.... Remember me… we were friends? And the wolf is like ummm… new phone who dis? And she’s like please come with me, I’m headed home. But the wolf is like sorz, can’t. And she says “that’s not you.” IDK if she means this is literally not her old pet or if she’s saying this feral version of you with a pack of wolves is not the wolf I knew. It doesn’t take a TV genius to figure out wolf = Arya and she’s conflicted between her new “feral side” and her old, daughter of a Stark side.

Our last scene is A DOOZY and it takes place on the high seas…

PTT and his sis are headed south with the Sand Queen (SQ) lady per Khaleesi’s instructions. We get a quick scene with her daughters, the Sand Snakes, just to remind us they’re all badasses and then we check in on SQ, PTT and his sis. SQ is like why do you keep your bro around he’s always acting all previously-traumatized. And his sis is like he protects me, but SQ is like you don’t need protection… and she and the sis start touching each other. PTT is like that’s my cue to leave, but just as some hawt SQ on PTT-sis action is about to go down, their ship is under attack. PTT and sis head upstairs and it turns out their crazy Uncle has come to find them! 

He sets all of their ships on fire and is tearing through all of their armies. The Sand Snakes put up a fight but sadly are taken out one-by-one. SQ is captured and is like, please kill me, but they do not. Then PTT’s sis and uncle go head to head. PTT’s sis is a major badass but uncle crazy-pants has craziness on his side and also captures her. He’s holding her hostage, about to cut her throat, so PTT is like ummmmmm….idk what to do. He’s clearly having some serious PTSD, so rather than make any decision, he jumps off the boat. His sis seems v v disappointed because she was literally just bragging about how he can protect her. He survives but is last seen floating sadly, watching all of their ships burn and his sis get taken away…

WDTSEM? Remember last week when uncle crazy-pants came to see QPC and bragged about having 2 hands? Well he promised to bring her a gift, and while my initial guess that it would be some sort of dragon-horn was probably off, it seems like the gift he’s bringing are these hostages. He now has the Sand Queen and PTT’s sis, both of whom are v powerful players. Having them to bargain with will be very helpful for QPC, assuming that’s the plan.

Final thoughts:

This ep was actually pretty great, minus the disgusting amateur surgery scenes! The fight scene at the end clearly had a huge budget and it showed- the fiery sparks throughout the entire scene were so cool and we’ve never seen much fighting-at-sea (with ships v. ships instead of ships v. land). The CGI people really did a bang up job if you ask me! #nerdalert

Biggest surprise this ep: I did NOT see that whole attack at the end coming! Also, everything is happening so fast! Everyone is learning about everyone else so quickly. I feel like in past seasons it would have taken us 2 eps at least to get something in the mail but now the mail’s coming 2-3 times an ep!

Biggest letdown:I was hoping, based on the preview, that Bae would really come for Littlefinger and squeeze him real good, but he was pretty gentle. Shoulda known because Bae is not one to strangle willy-nilly but DAMN I am sick of listening to Littlefinger.

Important fashion moments: Khaleesi’s shiny black get up was pretty great and I’m coming around to Sansa’s weird chain necklace.

Who died this ep? The Sand Snakes (RIP) and a bunch of Iron-Islanders (PTT’s people) and probably some Dornish people too (SQ’s people)

Summery: When the interviewer starts questioning about him being a womaniser he just shrugs. But then everyone starts to believe it. Everything goes downhill from there...

Adam was standing on a red carpet when it all begun. It was a normal day for him really and everything was going well, the interviewers had great attitudes and everyone was friendly and caring – But he hadn't known he was hanging out with a lot more girls than guys. Although, he was a closeted gay man everyone still thought he was connected to woman in a weird way. Now here he was, standing with a woman who would tell him the worst question and ruin his whole career.

“Hello Adam,” She said casually as if nothing bad was going to happen and what she didn't know was it was going to affect him THAT badly.

“Hi,” he muttered back.

“So, I've heard your the womaniser in your band or you just are a womaniser overall.. Can we confirm this as true?”

Adam stopped the tracks in his brain and looked at the woman with a full hatred before shrugging and walking away from her. He never gave an answer so they shouldn't properly put it on the News. He just wished everyone was still shipping shevine. He only loved him.

The next day he came up to a Twitter to post about his new Album that was upcoming. But when he did the comments were just about him and... the last interview he had? Sniffling as tears began slowly filling his eyes he wiped them as he read them, coming to terms that nobody would ever like him again.

Adam was now crying. Silent sobs escaping his mouth and the tears rolling down his cheeks as he watched Twitter blow up with more hate comments, one after one they all came and went with more to come afterwards and he couldn't believe it. How could one interview change his whole life – Funny, cheeky and carefree, ADHD Adam to Sad, lonely and wanting to die in the moment Adam.

Then what he received next was the worst part. All of his bandmates and manager was forcing him to ... to quit the band. As he sobs began to become un-silent. He remembered why this was happening to him. The media.

Bandmate 1- 'adam u know .. just quit the band as soon as possible .. k, thnx'

Bandmate 2- 'bye to the band'

Bandmate 3- 'cant believe u are using woman man ... didn't even deny it .'

Bandmate 4- 'get out and don't return.'

Bandmate 5- 'better off without you in this band tbh.'

Bandmate 6- 'maroon 5 will be good now haha'

Bandmate 7- 'really dude? Wow..'

Manager - 'you're out'

Adam crawled away from his phone as if it was a monster and dropped onto the floor. He only managed to get under the table when he bursted out in full sobs. He again just reached out for his phone when it binged hoping it to be anyone but The Media. Except it was.

Newspaper - 'Adam Levine Using WOMAN?'

The Sun - 'Adam Levine A Womaniser?'

Daily Mail - 'Adam Levine Doesn't Deny Rumours Being A Womaniser'

He watched as all these newspapers and comments and much heart filled paragraphs were full of why he was that womaniser. He was never. The only woman he had married and divorced was Behati. And yes, maybe he did hang out with more woman this year but it was as a friend. He couldn't date that MANY.

Soon enough, the tears were endless and no matter how many times he tried to get them away they kept coming. This time his phone binged and binged and he saw his friends and boyfriend from The Voice messaging him desperately.

Shakira - 'omg adam don't look at Twitter please'

Usher - 'man you probably looked at Twitter need to talk 'bout it ?'

Pharrell Williams - 'i am so sorry'

Christina Aguilera - 'are you okay?'

CeeLo Green - 'do you want to talk about anything honestly?'

Gwen Stefani - 'please talk to us. we don't if you're dealing with this or struggling. At least talk to Blake. He's freaking the hell out over here at work, he had to cancel practice with his team.'

Miley Cyrus - 'look, I don't know what the hell is happening on Twitter currently but you need to tell us or anyone. I haven't been on yet so... come to the voice and we'll discuss and make it pass over?'

Alicia Keys - 'gosh. I hate some twitter people. Not you.'

Blake Shelton - 'Adam, I heard what happened and the whole of social media is blowing up. I'm coming over pretty soon.'

Blake Shelton - 'just to talk to me dude, what the heck happened? I just wanna help'

Adam Levine - 'come quick'

That was the only reply he sent to Blake and his breathing was getting slower and slower till he felt like he was dying.

BING.

Blake Shelton - 'ok dude coming'

Blake was on a rush. He didn't know what was happening but that 'come quick' text sent him into a terrifying frenzy. His car battled through other cars and he was glad LA was a bit more relaxed than usual. He reached Adams house and knocked on the door. He mentally slapped himself for doing that and just walked in. He saw his boyfriend immediately under the table with his phone smashed. He walked over to him and pulled him into a hug, placing him onto who his lap. Hearing Adam crying was the most heartbreaking thing in the world.

“Adam, Adam, look at me.” Blake told him firmly and when he didn't he lifted his chin and saw his eyes were red, puffy and tears were gradually building up again and so he wiped them away. “What happened?”

So, here is my predicament. A person wrecked into my car (while it was parked) and her Insurance Company (State Farm) has already sent out a person to do estimates and told me it is a Total Loss, which is fine, they offered me a lot more then blue book says, BUT my issue at the moment is, they told me I need to get my registration up to date before they would deal with me anymore (Was expired by a month cause my lack of insurance). So I rode up to a Tag Agency and got a Black Tag (In Oklahoma, we have color coated Registration stickers that we put on our License Plate) A Black Tag means it is not being driven and is parked but is up to date on being registered. So they told me they would call me back when it shows in their system I have registered my tags to up-to-date, and I called them today, which was over 48 hours after getting registration and they are still telling me they haven't heard anything.
