Im sorry the main cast is just unlikeable imo they don’t justify their actions and just ride on the ideal of freedom and nothing else. They use the same argument of “bc people deserve to live and choose” and its tiring hearing them say that 10 times they just lacked depth.

Also shaoqi who writes for hi3 wrote this and hi3 is very visual novel esque and it works in hi3 bc its very story driven but it just doesn’t in hsr.

Now the good things

Hi there! How do you think a team composition of Raiden, Diluc/Yelan (depending on the day), Kaeya and Kazuha would work? Especially in SAGAU terms.

I headcannon that Ei once referred to Kaeya as "son of Khaenri'ah" and Diluc has been defensive ever since.

Forgive me if I get Yelan's characterization wrong - she's one of the few characters I don't have, the most I've seen of her was the story quest, the Chasm event with Itto and Yanfei, and that she apparently stole a coat Pantalone wanted to give to the Tsaritsa, which honestly would immediately put her in Diluc's good books.

That being said - for Diluc and Yelan, I think the switching would work out really well. I mean, they're both busy businesspeople with probably tightly packed schedules, so I reckon your usual antics might even start a close partnership between the two, even if only on a personal level, i.e. each updating the other on what was done during their turn as that day's chosen vessel, or asking the other to potentially cover for them on a day where they just really really couldn't make it. They'd be grateful for the on and off schedule, it gives them time.

Yelan and Kaeya look like they'd be the kind of fast friends that are friendly only on the surface, because they are both distrustful of each other since they're equally sneaky, but I see them growing accustomed to each other as you take them out together. Hydro and Cryo work well naturally, and I can see them having an easier time working in synergy the more they begin to understand one another. It's not openness - neither of them is going to share their innermost workings with someone like that - but it is a form of comraderie that they both end up being thankful for. I'd wager Yelan reminds Kaeya of Rosaria somewhat, and that on downtimes, the two have gone out for drinks and perhaps some gambling.

As for himself and Diluc, Kaeya finds himself even more thankful for the opportunity. The chance for their bond to truly heal from what happened on the day of Crepus's death had not yet surfaced. He knew Diluc still cared - but in a different, silent, far more distant way than before. Kaeya did miss having his brother have his back, and doing the same for him. The first months were difficult - packed with "This meams nothing" and "I am following the Overseer's will, that is all", with Diluc ditching the place as soon as you tabbed out. Kaeya's teasing feels sharp, Diluc is almost cold, and the two can bicker back and forth so often that one would forget they are not the only ones on the team. The teasing never truly goes away. Diluc never truly lowers his guard. But the moment anyone or anything gets in the way of one, the other will lend a hand almost on instinct.

Diluc justifies it as doing it for you. You placed them together, and you rely on both of them, and it is very clear that you like them both enough to place them on your main team. You surely don't want any of them hurt, right? They both use the same argument to justify not sparring - a suggestion brought up by the Shogun, who was genuinely trying to help. Of course it's not because deep down both of them want the best for one another - it is simply because you want the best for both of them. Of course.

But if that were the reason, why would Diluc place himself between his brother and the Archon every time since he heard that one casual remark? He didn't know what bothered him so much about it - it was accurate, wasn't it? Son of Khaenri'ah. There was a time, once, when Diluc would've called it preposterous - Kaeya was a son of Crepus, just like he was. Regardless of his birth parents, he'd been raised a Ragnvindr.

But... was that really true? Had it ever been?

Being placed on the same team as Kaeya, Diluc finds himself grappling with thoughts he had back when everything came to light. For the vast majority of his life, Kaeya had been, indeed, just as much a child of Khaenri'ah as Diluc was a child of Mondstadt. But a man's future is not defined by his past - instead, his present. Kaeya is as much of a sneaky bastard as Diluc is used to him being... but the more the two work together, the more he realises that Kaeya has become more of a Mondstadter than he himself is aware of. He may have been a child of Khaenri'ah once, but the man he's grown into is as much of his brother as he thought him to be as children.

He does not, however, say this out loud. Ever.

The Shogun has since stopped reffering to him as that - it very clearly makes both of them incredibly uncomfortable, and though it is nice to get a break from the bickering, she was not actually looking to offend anybody. So far she's taken to reffering to Kaeya by title instead, adressing him as Captain. She doesn't strike me as the type to jump directly to being on a first name basis with people, and would want to maintain that distance.

Her and Diluc interact very little - she much prefers the Yelan days now, if only due to the fact that she knows there's still some lingering tension from that little incident. I could see the two getting along somewhat well before, but the relationship definitely soured in that awkward quiet way that never leads to an actual confrontation. But then again, I can see this being a very, VERY tense team. Like seriously the only person here that has no beef at all is Yelan.

Because while the brothers' antics take the main stage - their bickering is dramatic and explosive and their jabs at each other end up taking the attention from othet issues, which is quite thr relief - there is also the strained feelings between Kazuha and the Shogun.

Oh yes.

You and the Traveler may have gotten through to the Archon, shown her the power of people's hopes and dreams, and helped repel the Vision Hunt Decree. Inazuma may now be open again, and the Nation of Electro may be slowly rebuilding itself and its foreign relations after the civil war. The Shogun had her redemption arc, and joined you as a Vessel, and so far she has been nothing but helpful and reliable on the field of combat.

But Kazuha's friend is not any less dead.

Kazuha himself says that he's thought about it, and that he holds no resentment towards the Shogun. His friend died in an honorable duel, and that's that. But not resenting someone doesn't automatically mean a close or good relationship, nor does it mean that what was done has been forgotten. Kazuha supposes he'll trust your judgement, and that the Shogun is there to help - but there's still that lingering fear, that cold sweat when he wakes up and that shiver running down his back, because the aftermath of a war is never easy, and though she's on their side now, what if one day she isn't. Were it not for the brothers' antics - and possibly Kaeya, let us be honest here, he's the one who talks - the team would be... very, very silent.

From either angle, your team is PACKED with tension, but hopefully they'll be able to slowly grow to rely on each other, and maybe mend what was broken along the way.

With a bit of luck they go out for drinks and dango. I think they deserve it.

(some of) the genshin boys realize that the reader's vision seems to be switching from pyro to electro the entire time.

characters: kaeya, xiao, diluc, venti & childe

KAEYA

when he first meets you, he notices your pyro vision.

he thinks it would make a fun combo with his cryo vision.

at first, he kind of ignores it. it's just a common vision, and he trusts your abilities to use it properly.

after you two guys spend more time together, he'll take another quick glance at your vision, this time it's shining with a purple light.

he simply frowns and ignores it. he thinks that he didn't see it properly the first time and got it mistaken for a pyro vision.

honestly, it's not like he pays too much attention to that.

however, he is definitely impressed when he first sees you fighting. there are thunders everywhere but, there are explosions and fire too. he thinks it's just your electro vision that has too much strength.

but he's definitely confused. when you're done fighting, he'll stare at the vision. it was purple, and then it turned to red, and then purple again...

he has heard stories of a certain guy in Inazuma that used two visions at the same time, but this was different:

a single vision could hold two elements.

he wouldn't ask, but he's slightly surprised. he definitely appreciates the powerful combo of lightning and fire.

and if he wakes up in a skeptic mood, he may go a bit delusional thinking you were chosen by the archons or something of sorts

pyro and electro work pretty well and it’s common sense that lightning may cause fire too, so +1 to archons for making it realistic

he’s mostly curious about how did you manage to get two visions in one

he never really saw anything like that so he’s a bit like 😃woah!

if he has a soft spot for you, he’ll think something similar to Xiao, that you were the archons’ favorite or something like that.

even if he despises the Knights, would have a vague idea that you’d be better than anybody there because of the two elements

would not speak to others about it but if somebody mentions it he’d be the first to go like ‘ah yes, i know them, i saw it’, etc.

he would also enjoy seeing you fighting, lighting and fire definitely makes a chaotic landscape to look at

he thinks of you as somebody really cool

enjoys spacing out and seeing how the vision changes from orange to purple and purple to orange and so on

he thinks it’s mesmerizing even

Thoughts on Skirk's story quest;

- I was surprised to start off with Traveler and Paimon going to Baizhu? I'm slightly confused that they didn't go to Tighnari (as we would presumably be in Natlan rn and he's the closest doctor we know) but considering how little screentime he gets, I'm not complaining.

- I have no idea why Traveler was describing what was going on on-screen during the dreams in excruciating detail?? We can... see it??? You're not in a book, you're in a video game with visuals and sounds...?

- I like Skirk's personality in the beginning. I was afraid they would make her sound nicer than she was in Fontaine (and they do, but I'll get to that later) so seeing her leave a stupidly tiny amount of mora for the drink and leave with "Settle the bill for me, will you?" was reassuring. And "The weak and the lowly have no right to remember me"! Sadly, the rest of the quest shows that Genshin was trying to go for 'she's just pretending to be an asshole bc of trauma and is actually really nice and well meaning like everyone else'. Which... sucks. We were so close...

- CONSTELLATION LORE!!!!!!! THANK YOU SKIRK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- and thank you for actually getting to the point when you talk, too. She's so straight-to-the-point that even after a brief detour to chill with Baizhu in the beginning, we actually know what the quest is about less than 10 minutes into it, and thank god for that. I don't know if I would've been able to take her seriously if she were as overly dramatic and talk-y as most of the important 5 stars.

- I'm glad that this didn't take place in Natlan, honestly. I am so bored of Natlan.

- it's been a while since Paimon gave out a nasty nickname, huh? Considering how sexist Genshin has been towards Skirk, I... don't like that her nasty nickname is something pointlessly gendered like "ice queen".

- the Abyss looks super cool! But uhhhh... of all the ways we could've ended up in the Abyss for the first time... we go with 'Skirk reappears and becomes playable out of nowhere, and casually brings Traveler to the Abyss to train them for a bit'? That's the best you could've come up with?

- Keqing (among others) definitely did not make this much of a lasting impression on Traveler. I am very confused about the whole 'Traveler thinks about the 'sword masters' they've met' thing. We've only fought alongside some of these characters once. Did we ever even fight with Nilou? Kaeya, Ayaka, and maybe Kazuha I will accept, but Keqing, Lynette, and Nilou are really weird choices. You didn't go through all of the sword characters, so why this selection specifically...? I would've at least had Jean.

- watching a backstory scene about someone committing genocide against Skirk's people and calling them savages during one of the top racist nations filled me with rage. Hoyo, you know exactly what you're doing when you pull racist bullshit. You knew exactly what you were doing with Sumeru and Natlan. You know what you're doing with the hilichurls. You know this is bad. You have no excuses.

- not to mention, hsr made multiple characters who survived the genocide and destruction of their planet already. You know what happened to them? The main characters befriended the genociders, and the protagonist acts really shitty towards Boothill for being openly against the genociders in question.

- how convenient that the Romani and Native American genocide survivors got racist treatment, while a genocide survivor who doesn't seem to have real life influences didn't :)

- spending an excruciatingly long time bouncing back and forth between 'training' with Skirk and being told about her backstory is... a very boring first experience within the Abyss.

- all that time, and how do we figure out who took part of Traveler's soul or whatever? Skirk finds him for us off screen. Come on.

- I'm okay with the concept of Skirk being from another world, but "there is a space faction committing space genocide that one of the Sinners may be a part of"? WHAT THE-

- WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! THERE WAS NO POINT TO ADD THAT TO THE STORY?! 'ALIENS GO AROUND KILLING PLANETS' WAS THE PLOT HI3 WAS SETTING UP FOR HSR THAT YOU SCRAPPED!!!! WHY WOULD YOU SCRAP IT TO MAKE HSR MORE LIKE GENSHIN AND THEN INTRODUCE IT TO GENSHIN INSTEAD???????????????????

- the least you could've done was have Skirk be connected to the recent deep lore about the crimson moon dynasty's Khaenri'ah making an orphanage to take in aliens for -mysterious reasons-. That seems like a pretty important thing that people should know about from a playable character that we actually care about and not a random book from a filler update, especially with the hints that the House of the Hearth may be connected to that orphanage.

- Skirk and Surtalogi ended up being exactly like I feared, which is 'new male character is More powerful and More important than this powerful and important female character you've been excited for since 1.1, she purely exists to give you lore about the male character.' Which is annoying as fuck.

- I feel like we got much more actual gameplay from this story quest than we usually do. But again, despite being in the fucking Abyss, what we ended up doing was.... essentially a playable montage of the protagonist training with their mentor to Get Stronger, except that Traveler is already super Strong and Powerful and Amazing, so there's no reason why they needed to train. Skirk was just like "you're powerful already but our enemy is more powerful so train" and Traveler was like "okay".

- they tried REALLY hard to convince you that the situation was tense but like... the person attacking us stopped and waited for us to decide to run away before he attacked. The enemies he summoned as you were leaving were regular ass hilichurls. I ran past them when I was leaving and only got hit by them once. I actually found it easier than the last training segment.

- most of the quest was training segment > Skirk backstory > training segment > Skirk backstory > training segment > okay we're done and Skirk found the culprit off screen > very mild confrontation.

- goooooood I hate this stupid 'Surtalogi and the narwhal are soooo super duper strong and surely no one from Teyvat is as strong as them!' thing. I DON'T care about random planets outside of Teyvat, actually. The only one you could even convince me to care about is the twins' home planet, and that's because it's important to their stories.

- (paraphrased) "Paimon has a feeling Skirk doesn't like being around new people- let's bring her to our friends house!" Paimon that doesn't make any sense.

- wdym we stayed in Baizhu's house for DAYS, and never saw him?? He wasn't there?? Neither were Changsheng and Qiqi??? Why did we go to Baizhu's house if we didn't want to write the 3 of them meeting Skirk????

- the seelie thing bringing you to Skirks 'mindscape' without her consent and them and Traveler literally TELLING you everything they already showed you was just. So stupid. I KNEW what was happening WAY before this point, Genshin. I'm not stupid. The only new information we learned from that was that the humanoid figure from the narwhal boss was Surtalogi.

- fuck spaceship lore. Fuck intergalactic trading. I don't give a single shit about any of this. This is what hsr is supposed to be about.

- they're going to use this space faction to make Celestia 'sympathetic' and excuse all the shitty things they did one of these days, aren't they. I swear to god, if this turns into "Celestia was trying ro protect Teyvat from the space faction, and the leaders of Khaenri'ah sided with the space faction so it's their fault that Khaenri'ah was destroyed actually" I will be so mad.

- I guess, at least the whole 'being from another world' thing allows Genshin's attempts to force a 'special' relationship between Traveler and New Woman to actually kind of make sense? But between how horrible the game usually is towards any woman they do this with and how shitty Traveler is as a person, I still don't like it.

- I never want to see that stupid seelie looking thing on my screen ever again. I don't care that it's also Skirk. Oh my god the amount of dialogue this thing put me through.

- I still agree with what I said earlier about the first run in being super easy, but the boss was slightly difficult, which is nice. I was surprised to get a boss at all.

- of COURSE the person who was responsible for all of this was a friend of Surtalogi who immedietaly starts monologuing about him. Of course he and Skirk just end up talking about Surtalogi for a long time.

- and of course Super Special And Powerful Surtalogi can casually break the curse of immortality. Of course he left because he doesn't care about Teyvat anymore. Why not. Why not trivialize everything in all of Teyvat just to prop up some random new npc over literally everything else. Why not.

- man, the cold, egotistical version of her that I liked did not last long. I already don't like the nice Skirk who makes generic monologues about hope and kindness just like everyone else in this game. I was hoping that she would, you know, remain a unique character?

what are your thoughts on buying genshin accounts? i didn't start until recently and i missed raiden and kazuha, but my friend told me about them. i'm heavily considering it...

Honestly I wouldn’t do it tbh. Raiden reruns yearly with all the archons—yes, that’s a bit of a long wait in a sense, but tbh I don’t even have raiden myself and I never really felt like I needed her. But she’s super cool and hot so I don’t blame you for wanting her but she’s not a necessity tbh. And kazuha I’ll admit is rlyyyyy useful but again he’ll rerun eventually and there’s loads of teams you can use without him so personally I’d just use a fresh slate account so it has all the quests and story quests and etc. plus I like earning and farming my own achievements and artifacts and whatnot so I wouldn’t wanna use someone’s previous stuff. And I’ve seen some people get scammed out of money with account buying 😔 it’s not the WORST concept ig if the price isn’t bad and the characters on there are good but tbh I think it’s a bit unnecessary

Kazuha was a mainstay on my team for like a solid two years but then Sumeru came out and I became a dendro main ��� last year’s summer island event had me in my feelings so deeply, you have no idea

I think Alhaitham is one of the funniest characters ever. I love characters who would piss me off if they were real. Probably my best built character even though I use Harbinger of Dawn on him

Honestly I love all of the Sumeru characters so so so much the 3.0-3.2 story was just so damn good. I am obsessed with the Tighnari&Collei&Cyno found family dynamic. I honestly don’t care about Fontaine LMAO I want to stay in Sumeru

SR is still pretty new so my favorite characters are basically the ones that I like using the most.

I think Asta is such a funny character and she has managed to surprise me a couple of times in some of the space station star quest. Also she is just so damn useful as a support character and I need to build her more

I’m obsessed with the Blade & Dan Heng dynamic. I haven’t started the latest story quest yet so no spoilers plsss. I pulled Blade on the first day of his banner but I have 0 resources for him so he hits like a wet napkin rn but that’s okay baby take your time. I’m now saving up to hopefully get Dan Heng IL 🤞🏼🤞🏼

So far I’ve had pretty good luck on my pulls ❤️❤️ I got I think Gepard? i forgor exactly when I tried pulling for Seele but I was able to get JY pretty early on and I won the 50/50 for LC and Blade 💯💯 god I hope I get IL. no I have no idea what team to put him in

I'm glad you liked what I did for your Navia request because I was definitely struggling to write the Arle request and the rest afterward. Unfortunately, my health is getting very bad, so I'm sorry if alot of them downgraded overtime, but I hope my slight break will help.

Regarding what I think of Natlan, I have played the entire story quest already (shocking, I know, considering I usually take a month lmao-), and I honestly thought it was... meh? It didn't grab my attention like Fountaine's first story quest did, but maybe that will change with the other ones. Natlan, otherwise, in general, is honestly not that exciting for me to explore. Everything feels too exhausting, lol.

Please let me know what you think of everything once you are finally free enough to play the game lmao. I wish you all the best on your exams and really hope they go well for you! (Also, congrats getting Kazuha, he's my main and I love him haha)

I keep seeing people talk about genshin's character story quests and how they aren't about the character at all and i think i cracked why i don't agree even though i take my fiction very seriously. i think the issue is what we expect of these quests and why we are there. yes i think some of them aren't that interesting, just wanted to make that clear before i start.

so i think the issue is that some people want the back story of each character animated (basically). they go in expecting that the quest will be picking an aspect of the character and reiterate it or explain it more in depth and while there is nothing wrong with that and that is also incredibly interesting and more widely appealing, that is not how hoyo approaches them. what hoyo does is put their character in completely new situation and see how they react based on their back story and characterization in a slightly more subtle way. yes, technically they could've picked out character story [insert number here] from the character profile and go more in depth about it and i would definitely love that too, instead they take the character and put them in a new situation. yes, they could've taken ayato and shown us a day in his life as the busy commissioner but instead they took us to explore a political aspect of the aftermath of the archon quest and had him interact with it to characterize him as the schemer that he is and i honestly enjoyed that a lot. in the same vein they could've had kazuha explore his family's past like they did in the summer event in 2.8 (yes i agree that should've been permanent content) but i still think they did a great job with making kazuha interact with the situation they put him in and showed his view points and ideologies very well.

point is i can see why they go into these stories the way they do and while i personally enjoy character explorations like this in my stories it seems it is not as appealing to the vast majority.... they probably won't stop it tho

(apologies if this is long and all over the place, I have a bad tendency to ramble XD) So I'm mildly kicking myself for not being able to pull Neuvillette last patch cause I finally decided to look into him properly while procrastinating doing Fontaine's story quest(got severely burned out of Genshin for a while thanks to relatives who also play Genshin around Fontaine's release so I'm way behind and got spoiled to hell on everything, only recently got back in after prodding Arley and loving her playstyle), and. Good god I have never wanted to hug a character so much before besides with Wanderer who my opinion of did a 180 after sumeru MSQ his character quest that resulted in me pulling him and his weapon. I just want to give Neuvi cuddles and hugs cause jesus christ he needs them as well as a break. SO besides trying to yoink Sethos next patch or other reruns I want happening(Which thankfully is few at this point due to the characters I've managed to get over the course playing meaning I'm content account wise mostly with the ones I have), I'm honest to god just going to hoard Primos until Neuvi runs again and try to get him, maybe also his weapon but I'll get him first and then try for his weapon XD (The good(?) thing that came from me skipping him this time though meant I was able to pull Arley and her sig cause I had been trying for Kazuha's weapon for my Kazuha and the resulting high pity meant I only had to spend two fates to get the spear, and then a friend helped me get Arley herself cause I'll be moving against my will soon so I wouldn't be able to grind for primos in time. So once I can pull for Neuvillette I'm honestly probably going to make those two the main DPSes of my Spiral Abyss teams after just Arley let me finally clear floors 9 to 11 with my mostly messily put together teams. Can't clear floor 12 yet, but it's progress cause I've never gotten that far before! :D)

congrats!!! neuvillette may not be coming again for a while (just because we know how genshin does their banners ;;) but i hope you get him the next time he runs!

I love occasionally entertaining the thought of a dramatic crescendo where immediately after blocking Musou no Hitotachi, Kazuha just accepts his feelings for the Traveler, maybe they share an intense kiss like a romcom finale, and Kazuha immediately gets to where he is now. But reviewing canon (which is honestly just a fancy way of saying replaying the game), realistically, he needed time to himself after setting the electro vision on the grave and saying one last prayer before Letting Go. That's why he's not as enthusiastic in his story quest, but he is very enthusiastic in any event that came afterward, and especially through the events of 2.8 (I didn't play the game then but I watched the summer event videos), the bond was steeled. Kazuha's love for the Traveler came sudden, but it needed to simmer for a long time before he did anything about it.

But from 3.0 on, the patch on which I started playing, whenever I see Kazuha in events, half the things he says is asking out the Traveler. His voicelines as a companion and as a teapot quest are queer as shit too, so while it took A While for him to gather his thoughts and feelings, he definitely got out of the whole process with his love for the outlander stronger and securer.

TL;DR my man Kazuha took months, if not a whole year, to fight his demons and accept his own feelings but he obliterated those demons and came out of it gay as fuck (gay used as umbrella term because he's bi and he has it bad for the traveler no matter which twin it is)

honestly im so so so excited for fontaine. each time a new region releases jjst the FEELING you get it so good. doing kazuhas story quest the patch before inazuma came out and finally sailing to inazuma, the music just hitting u bc you know its NEW

sumeru was so much better tho. just going through the chasm, walking down a winding tunnel before being greeted by the lush greenery in the forests of sumeru. its gonna be so cool with fontaine eSPECIALLY since the devs went so hard witb the environment

Guys i have a problem.

Ok so i’ve been trying to finish up a bunch of main quest so i can be ready to do Fontaines Archon quest. But theres an issue. Scarymooches quest is an Archon quest, so i gotta finish that up to progress. But to do that, I have to complete Kazuha’s quest (for some reason). And that would be totally fine if that was all I had to do.

But as it turns out: in order to unlock Kazuha’s quest: I had to do the Raiden Shoguns first story quest. Which totally sucks because I really, REALLY don’t want to do it, and not just out of laziness. Shes kind of a weird character I don’t love or hate, but also someone i don’t feel any indifference to either. But man, her first story quest does NOT help my opinion of her. I honestly don’t want to spend time being all buddy buddy with Ei when in the context of the story she literally tried to take my life like a day ago.

And that’s not to mention i have to do FOUR quests to be able to reach Fontaines quest. FOUR! Not only do I have to do all of the quests mentioned above, I also have to do Dainsleif’s quest. I have no idea why Mihoyo made it this way, but it sucks and I hate it.

In the end though, it’s really my fault for procrastinating so much. My sibling offered to do Ei’s first quest for me later on so hopefully i’ll be able to muster the will to complete everything I gotta do before Fontaine arrives. God dang it, Mihoyo.

Haha, I got both of Zhongli and Kazuha's done already... KAZUHA I have a bone to pick with, I was circling his alleged location for ages until I realised he doesn't actually show up til nighttime. HE MADE ME LOOK LIKE A FOOL

I was glad to get some more Mond characters (both ambers, both dionas, a noelle and a sucrose), but unfortunately these just aren't characters I'm interested in.... diluc, please. diluc, save me.

I've only gotten the Shenhe one where she's working at Wanmin... not looking forward to the date, I've already seen enough out of context clips of the Mizuki story quest to get my hackles up SO! Terrified of that!

(i've heard Rumours that HYV's new CEO wants to return to the glory days of MHY's mega alleged waifu pandering, ala HI3. so... bear that in mind and expect more of it, i guess. having seen varesa's design, i'm already.... lol, very worried for Snezhnaya and the Tsaritsa.)

Current account state (Sep 24, 2024)

Before I can start recording my progress, here is the current state of my account (as of Sep 24, 2024). Someday, I will look back at this post and go "Man, my account has come so far in just X years".

As you can see, my roster of built characters is zilch other than my main team of Anemo Lumine, Fischl, Diona, and Bennett. My Childe International team is being built NOW, but before these pics were taken, they were not really built. I did level Sucrose and Venti a bit back when I didn't have Kazuha, but I stopped once I got him. Ninnguang is leveled a bit because I was gonna use her to fight geo enemies but my main team could take care of it without her so I changed my mind. Also, yes, I do have an Aloy; my account is that old.

I'm not even going to put a pic for my weapons, because the only five star weapon I have is Childe's Polar Star 😭😭.

In terms of AR, I was stuck on AR 50 for so long because my main team could NOT defeat the monsters fast enough. Also, ummm, I main Anemo Traveler, but I use her as a Physical DPS 😂😂 (More on this in another post because boy is that a story to tell). Personally, I'm ok keeping her that way but once my Childe team is up and runnning, I wanna build dendro MC and build a hyperbloom or aggravate team cause I have an ok Fischl. I'm honestly so excited to build other characters and try other teams out 😁😁😁😁.

Story-wise, I'm caught up to the main archon quests, but I still have a bunch of world quests, character quests, and a BUNCH of places I haven't unlocked/explored. For example, I haven't opened up Tataratsuna yet; it's still stuck behind the barrier 😭😂.

That's roughly everything about my account for now, so next time, I'll be posting some progress because this "current" state is actually from a week ago XD.
