The Time Machine (A Video Spanking Story)
- Part One
I am sat putting coal on the fire, regulating a leaky, brass gate valve. Water is dripping from the gland packing and landing in an oily tray.
We are up to pressure, all I need now is...YOU
You knock on the door, the only person on Tumblr who is brave enough.
"Ahhh welcome, welcome! A fan of bloomers and red bottoms eh? Sit down, strap yourself in, and put these on."
You look at the brass goggles and the tan leather hat and gloves. Around you are many gauges bubbling and spitting. Bright purple sparks fly from a generator. The smell of coal, steam, oil and the sparks, is a rather nice mix, but none of it fills you with confidence.
"Put them on! Time to go!"
A million questions go unasked, as the contraption clangs and grinds. It shakes a bit too.
I smile, "Grand isn't it? I built it two hundred years ago you know!"
In your pale silence you are full of regret. You are shaking like a shitting dog!
"We are off to the real Inveigle. We could get out, but it is hard to find the bloody thing, it shrinks to a very very tiny cube you see. Best to look through here .."
I draw back some red velvet curtains, we are in the lanes. (You will have read of them in previous posts)
"They ..well nobody actually, can see us! Have a look."
You take off the hat and goggles, then pull off the gloves. And peer into a Sepia World.
It is not sepia really, but the glass for time travel just makes it look like it.
I look at you...you look back.
"Shhh, just enjoy it, questions get in the way you see!"
This is what you see...
More to come, I hope it hasn't made you feel sick, it does with some.
....time passes
"Fancy a cup of tea and some Victoris Sponge Cake?'
Spellbound, confused and amazed, you nod, and take a china cup of steaming hot Darjeeling, a matching plate and a gold cake fork. You say your first two words..."Fuck me!"
I smile.

Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is an inherited disorder distinguished by the growth of lots of cysts in the kidneys ("Polycystic Kidney Disease" 1). In the majority of cases, this genetic disease is passed down through families as an autosomal dominant trait. If a parent is the carrier of the gene, there is a fifty percent chance for the children to develop the disorder ("Polycystic Kidney Disease"). The kidneys are two organs. Each kidney is about the size of a fist and is found in a human being's abdomen (upper part) towards the back. Extra fluid and wastes present in the blood are filtered by kidneys forming urine as a result. Kidneys also help in the regulation of amounts of certain essential substances in the body. When cysts are formed in the kidneys, they are full of fluid. The normal structure of the kidneys thus becomes greatly enlarged due to the PKD cysts. As a consequence, kidney function is reduced which ultimately leads to kidney failure ("Polycystic Kidney Disease" 1). When kidneys fail due to PKD, the need of dialysis or patient kidney transplantation becomes inevitable. Polycystic kidney disease also causes cysts formation in the liver. Other organs in the body (particularly the blood vessels in brain and heart) also get affected with this genetic disease. The doctors distinguish PKD cysts from the harmless cysts after checking and examining the number of cysts and the complications caused by them ("Polycystic Kidney Disease" 1). Polycystic Kidney Disease exists in two major hereditary forms i.e. Autosomal Dominant PKD and Autosomal Recessive PKD. About ninety percent of all cases of PKD are Autosomal dominant PKD making it the most common form of PKD whereas Autosomal recessive PKD is the rare form of PKD ("Polycystic Kidney Disease" 1). Although it is a rare type but is very grave and gets worse swiftly. It can cause serious lung and liver disease, end-stage kidney disease, and sometimes even death in early life ("Polycystic Kidney Disease"). Method(s) of Diagnosis Polycystic Kidney Disease is generally identified by kidney imaging studies. Ultrasound is the most common type of diagnostic kidney imaging. Other than this, computerized tomography (CT) scans or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are the methods that are used for diagnosing this disease. The beginning of kidney damage and the speed of its progression can vary in Autosomal dominant PKD. Depending on the age of the patient, the findings of kidney imaging can also show a discrepancy in a considerable manner. Fewer and minor cysts are mostly found in the kidneys of younger patients. Therefore, a particular criterion has been developed by the doctors for the diagnosis of the disease keeping in mind the patient's age ("Polycystic Kidney Disease" 2). Genetic tests are also a type of diagnosis by which mutations in the autosomal dominant PKD genes (PKD1 and PKD2) are detected. The genetic test is also helpful in determining whether a young PKD family member can securely give a kidney to a family member with the PKD ("Polycystic Kidney Disease" 3). Thus, Abdominal CT scan, Abdominal MRI scan, abdominal ultrasound and Intravenous pyelogram (IVP) are the four main methods to detect PKD ("Polycystic Kidney Disease"). Symptoms and Complications Both children and adults can develop autosomal dominant PKD. However, mostly adults have this kidney disease. It is not until the middle age that the symptoms appear in many cases. Some people even do not have PKD symptoms ("Polycystic Kidney Disease"). The most common symptoms of Polycystic Kidney Disease are headaches, back pains, side pains (between the ribs and hips). The pain can be short-term or constant, mild or severe. Other complications that people with autosomal dominant PKD can experience include "urinary tract infections -- specifically, in the kidney cysts, hematuria -- blood in the urine, liver and pancreatic cysts, abnormal heart valves, high blood pressure, kidney stones, aneurysms -- bulges in the walls of blood vessels in the brain, diverticulosis -- small pouches bulge outward through the colon" ("Polycystic Kidney Disease" 2). Drowsiness, joint pain and nail abnormalities are other symptoms that may happen with PKD ("Polycystic Kidney Disease"). Treatment Even though autosomal dominant PKD has no cure, proper treatment of this genetic disease can relieve symptoms and make life longer. Cyst infection, bleeding, kidney stone etc. can cause pain in the kidney area. At first, the doctor will assess the causes that are contributing to the pain in order to direct the patient about treatment. If it is evaluated as chronic pain due to the enlargement of cyst, over-the-counter pain medications (aspirin or acetaminophen) may be initially suggested by the doctor. If the pain is severe, it can be relieved by the means of surgery (for shrinking cysts). It must be noted that surgery may only provide an impermanent relief and does not reduce the progression speed of the disease toward kidney failure ("Polycystic Kidney Disease" 4). The urinary tract infections due to autosomal dominant PKD can be treated with antibiotics. Urinary tract infections can cause cyst infections which are difficult to treat as a lot of antibiotics do not make a way into the cysts for curing them. The effects of autosomal dominant PKD can be slowed down by keeping blood pressure under control. High blood pressure can be kept under control by changing the lifestyle and taking a variety of medications. In many cases, blood pressure can be kept under control just by taking proper diet and doing proper exercise ("Polycystic Kidney Disease" 4). Thus, the main goal of treatment is controlling PKD symptoms and preventing complications. Although it is not an easy task to control the high blood pressure, controlling it is the most imperative part of PKD cure. There may also be a need of removing one or both kidneys through surgery. Moreover, end-stage kidney disease may be treated by dialysis or a kidney transplant ("Polycystic Kidney Disease"). Method(s) of Prevention At present, there is no treatment that can put a stop to the formation or enlargement of cysts ("Polycystic Kidney Disease"). Directions for Future Research The scientists today have been able to recognize the processes that activate the PKD cysts formation. The field of genetics has advanced tremendously due to which the understanding concerning the abnormal genes that are responsible for autosomal dominant and autosomal recessive PKD has increased. Recently, researchers have been successful in discovering quite a lot of compounds that have emerged to slow up cyst development in mice with the PKD gene. A number of such compounds are in experimental testing in human beings. Scientists are hoping that further testing will make safe and effective treatments possible for humans who have polycystic kidney disease ("Polycystic Kidney Disease" 7). Clinical studies that have been done recently about the autosomal dominant PKD are discovering innovative imaging methods for tracking the cystic kidney disease development. As such methods use MRI, it is becoming so fruitful for scientists to design improved clinical experiments for fresh treatments of autosomal dominant PKD ("Polycystic Kidney Disease" 7). Propane tank suppliers in Florida
As hurricane season approaches in Florida, it is crucial to exercise heightened caution, particularly for those who rely on propane for cooking, heating, or power supply. It is imperative for both homeowners and business operators to understand how to adequately prepare their propane tank systems to mitigate risks, avoid delays, and prevent serious problems in the event of a storm. This blog offers a comprehensive checklist designed to assist in hurricane preparedness, considering Florida's unique weather patterns, geographical challenges, and petroleum safety regulations. Learn the best safety practices for propane use and discover what to expect from a reputable propane tank supplier in Florida during storm events. The Importance of a Hurricane Preparedness Plan for Florida Propane Users Tropical storms pose a significant threat to propane systems throughout Florida, and thus, having a hurricane preparedness plan is essential. Key risks include:
Areas becoming inundated due to rising water levels.
Trees and other debris that can rupture power lines.
Tanks exposed to extreme heat, which may lead to pressure build-up.
Disruptions in fuel supply caused by impassable roads. Establishing a comprehensive hurricane plan for your propane system ensures that your home or business remains secure and minimizes the risk of danger to occupants. Florida Hurricane Preparation Checklist for Propane Tank Users If you utilize propane at your residence or commercial establishment, consider the following steps to take before, during, and after a hurricane:
Conduct a Pre-Storm Safety Inspection Collaborate with a certified propane tank supplier in Florida to perform the following:
Inspect pipes for signs of damage or corrosion.
Ensure regulators and vents are positioned above anticipated flood levels.
Examine fasteners, especially those for above-ground tanks.
Verify tank capacity and refill as necessary. It is advisable to request documentation of the inspection for use when filing any claims post-storm.
Secure Above-Ground Tanks To prevent above-ground propane tanks from tipping, rolling, or becoming dislodged during high winds or flooding, ensure proper installation includes:
Heavy-duty anchoring systems fastening the pad to concrete.
Hurricane straps or steel supports securing the roof.
Clearances from structures, trees, and debris zones. Florida regulations mandate that tanks in flood zones comply with anti-floatation design standards. Confirm with your supplier that your installation is in compliance with these regulations.
Maintain a Full Tank Before the hurricane season begins, keep your propane tank as full as possible, as deliveries are likely to be delayed both before and after storms. This will help you:
Avoid running out of fuel.

Leaky Faucets or Low Water Pressure? Common Kitchen Plumbing Problems in Santee
The kitchen is the heart of your home, but it can also be the source of some of the most frustrating plumbing issues. Whether it’s a persistent drip from your faucet or weak water flow when you're trying to do the dishes, kitchen plumbing problems can interrupt your routine and even waste money in the long run. If you live in Santee, CA, you’re not alone—many homeowners face similar plumbing frustrations every day.
Let’s explore some of the most common kitchen plumbing problems in Santee, what causes them, and when it’s time to call a professional plumber in Santee, CA.
Tumblr media
1. The Drip That Drives You Crazy: Leaky Faucets
A leaky faucet isn’t just annoying—it can also be costly. That constant drip, drip, drip can waste gallons of water every day and spike your water bill. Over time, even a minor leak can lead to water damage under your sink or behind your walls.
Why Faucets Leak:
Worn-out washers or cartridges
Corroded valve seats
Loose parts or broken seals
In Santee, where water conservation matters, fixing a leaky faucet is more than a convenience—it’s a smart environmental and financial move.
If you've tried tightening things up and the leak persists, it may be time to let a kitchen plumbing Santee professional step in and fix it for good.
2. Low Water Pressure: A Kitchen Buzzkill
Ever turned on your faucet only to get a weak trickle instead of a strong stream? Low water pressure is a common problem in many Santee homes, especially older ones. It makes washing dishes harder and can even signal bigger plumbing issues behind the scenes.
Possible Causes:
Clogged aerator (the mesh screen at the faucet tip)
Corroded pipes
Hidden leaks
Faulty pressure regulator
If cleaning your aerator doesn’t help, there could be a larger issue in your plumbing system. Don’t wait until it worsens—get a plumber in Santee, CA to inspect your lines and pinpoint the cause.
3. Clogged Kitchen Drains: Not Just Gross—Damaging
Nothing ruins your evening like a backed-up kitchen sink. Food scraps, grease, soap residue, and other debris can accumulate over time and slow your drain—or stop it entirely.
Common Warning Signs:
Water is draining slowly or not at all
Bad smells from the sink
Gurgling noises when draining
Resist the urge to pour chemical drain cleaners down your sink. These can damage your pipes over time. Instead, call a pro with the right tools and techniques to clear the blockage safely and completely.
4. Dishwasher Drainage Issues
If your dishwasher isn’t draining properly, the problem might not be the appliance—it could be your plumbing. Dishwashers are often connected to your sink’s drainage system, and any clogs or air gaps in the system can stop the water from draining properly.
What to Check:
Drain hoses for kinks or clogs
Garbage disposal connections
Sink clogs that affect shared drainage
Hiring an expert in kitchen plumbing in Santee to inspect the entire system can save you from unnecessary appliance repairs or replacements.
5. Water Line Leaks Under the Sink
Under-sink plumbing can be tricky. From supply lines to P-traps, there’s a lot that can go wrong. One of the most overlooked kitchen plumbing problems is slow leaks beneath the cabinet. These may not be immediately apparent, but can lead to mold growth, cabinet damage, and even structural issues over time.
Warning Signs:
Damp or swollen cabinetry
Musty odors
Water stains or puddles under the sink
If you notice any of these red flags, don’t wait. Let a trusted plumber in Santee, CA, take a closer look and fix the problem before it spreads.
Why These Problems Are Common in Santee
Santee’s plumbing systems, like those in many older Southern California communities, often feature aging pipes that are more prone to corrosion and buildup. Hard water, common in this region, can also accelerate wear on plumbing fixtures, making problems more frequent if not properly maintained.
That’s why it's important to stay ahead of small issues before they become big headaches.
When to Call a Professional
Sure, some issues—like cleaning an aerator or tightening a faucet—might be DIY-friendly. But many kitchen plumbing problems require the tools, experience, and expertise of a licensed plumber.
If you're dealing with recurring leaks, clogs that won’t clear, or signs of low water pressure, it's time to get help.
Don’t Let Kitchen Plumbing Slow You Down
At the end of the day, your kitchen should be a place of comfort, not a source of stress. Whether it’s a leaky faucet or an ongoing drainage issue, reliable help is just a call away.
Contact us today to schedule a visit from a qualified plumber in Santee, CA. We'll diagnose the issue, offer long-term solutions, and get your kitchen back to working the way it should.

There's spitting pans, fire, and a high-pressure atmosphere—fire hazards lurk around every corner. That's why a kitchen fire suppression system Singapore is not just a good idea—it's necessary.
Kitchen fires ignite within seconds and then spread just as fast. With the intense heat, oily combustibles, and proximity to electric appliances, the environment is perfect. As a hotel kitchen owner, hawker stall owner, or chain restaurants, having a good kitchen fire suppression system Singapore at your disposal can be the difference between a minor problem and an outright shutdown.
Why Kitchen Fires Are So Devastating
Kitchen fires contain grease, oil, and heat, and these are not extinguished by standard water sprinklers. Water would actually make the fire worse here. One of the reasons general fire suppression system in Singapore installation is ineffective within the kitchen is that.
The Singapore kitchen fire suppression system units are specifically designed for this purpose. They respond very quickly, release the proper extinguishing agent (which is most often a wet chemical), and very rapidly shut off gas or electric fuel supply sources so that the fire cannot move beyond the original location Drako fire.
What Is a Kitchen Fire Suppression System
A kitchen fire suppression Singapore is an automatic device mounted immediately above your cooking appliances. It is activated by heat detectors, manual pull stations, or a combination of both. When it releases, it sprays a chemical agent into the cook area to rapidly put out the fire. Concurrently, the system cuts off the gas or electricity supply in an attempt to stop re-ignition.
It works seamlessly behind the scenes, ensuring your team stays safe even when chaos erupts in the kitchen.

Manual pull stations were also provided for manual human action wherever necessary
All these collectively serve to regulate the spread of fire and safe evacuation in the event of an emergency.
Compliance and SCDF Specifications
Singapore fire safety regulations are stringent—and rightly so. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) requires every commercial kitchen to have an approved kitchen fire suppression system Singapore installed.
Compliance involves inspections, certification of systems, and upkeep. Non-compliance in installation and upkeep of your system can lead to penalties, closure notices, or worse—loss of property and loss of human life.
Recruitment of an SCDF-licensed installer guarantees your fire suppression system Singapore is in line with local legislations and operates in the finest operating condition.
Advantages of Having a Kitchen Fire Suppression System
That is why thousands of businesses rely on a kitchen fire suppression system Singapore daily:
 Quick Response Time
The system responds instantly when it detects excessive heat, nipping the fire in the bud.
No Damage
Wet chemical solutions are effective in putting out fires and are easy to clean up—financially saving you on recovery and downtime expenses.
 Easy Compliance
SCDF-approved systems have your back to meet the authorities, skipping a walk-through inspection.
 Worker & Customer Safety
It's your responsibility to remove your kitchen staff from danger—and a professionally installed kitchen fire suppression system Singapore does it easier.
 Lower Insurance Premiums
Numerous insurance providers offer higher premiums for businesses that have professionally installed and maintained systems.
Maintenance Is Important
Purchasing a kitchen fire suppression system Singapore is the beginning. Maintenance keeps the system operational in times of emergency. This involves:
Pressure gauges checks
Nozzle cleanings
Expired agent replacements
Ensuring manual and automatic initiation
Testing shut-off capacity for gas/power
Employ an accredited Singapore network fire protection system supplier for routine maintenance and annual inspections.
Selecting the Ideal Supplier

Construction of Hole Type Fuel Injector for Diesel Generator Set Part 2
This article continues to introduce the working principle and structure of the hole type fuel injector for diesel generator users.
High pressure fuel enters the annular groove at the upper end of the needle valve body through the oil passage in the filter element and injector body from the inlet pipe joint. This groove is connected to the annular space at the lower part of the needle valve body through two inclined holes. The high-pressure diesel flowing through the lower cavity exerts an upward axial thrust on the conical surface of the needle valve. When this force overcomes the frictional force between the pressure regulating spring and the needle valve body (which is very small), the needle valve moves upward and opens the injection hole [as shown in Figure 5-2 (b)]. Therefore, high-pressure fuel is sprayed into the combustion chamber from the injection hole at the lower end of the needle valve body. The lift of the needle valve is limited by the lower end face of the injector body, which is beneficial for quickly cutting off fuel. When the fuel injection pump stops supplying fuel, due to the sharp drop in oil pressure in the high-pressure fuel pipe, the needle valve quickly closes the injection hole and stops supplying fuel under the action of the pressure regulating spring.
During the operation of the fuel injector, a small amount of fuel will leak out from the gap between the needle valve and the needle valve body. This part of the fuel can lubricate the needle valve and rise along the gap around the tappet, entering the return pipe through the hole on the return pipe bolt 1 and flowing back into the fuel tank. To prevent small debris from blocking the spray hole, a slotted filter element is installed on the high-pressure oil pipe joint.
The fuel injector is fixed in the injector seat hole on the cylinder head with two fixing screws and sealed with a copper cone to prevent air leakage. During installation, the head of the fuel injector should protrude a certain distance from the plane of the cylinder block (specific regulations apply to various machines). For this purpose, shims can be added between the copper cone and the fuel injector, or the copper cone can be replaced to adjust.
The domestically produced 135 series diesel engines all use orifice injectors. Its characteristics are: small nozzle diameter, good atomization quality, but high precision requirements, which brings certain difficulties to small hole processing, and the nozzle is easily blocked by carbon deposits during use.
The pressure regulating spring installed on the upper part of the fuel injector body presses the needle valve tightly against the sealing cone surface of the needle valve body through the tappet, causing the injection hole to close. Only when the oil pressure rises enough to overcome the elastic force of the pressure regulating spring, can the needle valve rise and start fuel injection. The injection pressure at the beginning of injection depends on the elasticity of the pressure regulating spring, which can be adjusted with a pressure regulating screw.
Dingbo Power was founded in 1974 and is one of the earliest manufacturers of generators and diesel generator sets in China. If you want get more information, please feel free to send email to [email protected] we will pay highly attention on your question.

Top 5 Uses Of Piston Pumps In Current Day Manufacturing
Pumps are the very heart of every industry; ensuring gas and liquid is distributed for commercial and industrial purposes. In particular, piston pumps, pneumatic pumps, and pneumatic grease pumps are the three most popular and versatile pump paradigms. This article will explore how piston pumps function, where they can be used, and their major benefits.
Tumblr media
Piston Pump: Power and Precision
Piston pumps belong to a variety of positive displacement pumps using a reciprocating piston to pump liquids or compress gases. During pump operation, the high-pressure seal moves in conjunction with the rotating piston. This allows a large range of pressures to be operated with a minimal loss of flow rate. Piston pumps are particularly valued for their ability to handle viscous media and solid particle carrying fluids, for which they are best suited to operate in arduous industrial environments.
Piston pumps can be classified into several categories:
Lift Pumps: Causing a negative pressure in the lower cylinder portion on the upstroke, lift pumps allow fluid to be drawn into the lower cylinder portion and discharge to follow on the next upstroke.
Force Pumps: On the upstroke, a negative pressure draws fluid into the cylinder. The fluid is discharged from the cylinder through an outlet valve on the next down stroke.
Single-Acting and Double-Acting Pumps: Single-acting pumps discharge fluid in one direction per stroke, while double-acting pumps discharge fluid in two directions.
Piston pumps apply to irrigation, water supply, and anything requiring high and evenly distributed pressure.
Pneumatic Pump: Tapping the Energy of Compressed Air
A pneumatic pump is a type of pump that has a compressed air or gas power source; it moves liquids or compresses gas. One of the advantages of pneumatic pumps compared to other pump mechanism types such as electric or human power pumps is pneumatic power pumps use compressed air to actuate the pump. Pneumatic pumps have practical benefits for applications that cannot acquire electrical supply or where the conditions can be unsafe.
The main features of pneumatic pumps are:
Positive Displacement Design: A fixed volume of the fluid is displaced with each cycle regardless of back pressure.
Double-Acting Mechanism: Majority of the pneumatic pumps are double piston in design, which allows seamless flow and efficient operation.
Versatility: Pneumatic pumps are utilized for transferring thickened products, aeration of ponds, operation of pneumatic tools, etc.
The basic operation is having compressed air enter the pump, power a piston or diaphragm, developing a pressure gradient to draw in and push out fluid. Valves regulate direction of flow and prevent backflow, enabling smooth and controlled motion.
Pneumatic Grease Pump: Precision Lubrication for Industry
A pneumatic grease pump, is an air-powered grease pump that use pneumatic energy to dispense grease accurately and efficiently. Pneumatic grease pumps are used in commercial automotive repair facilities and industrial lubrication applications and are the industry standard. Pneumatic grease pumps utilize compressed air to create pressure to dispense high-viscosity grease from a reservoir to the point of application.
Major components of a pneumatic grease pump include:
Air Motor: It transforms compressed air to rotational energy to drive the pump.
Pump Body: Hides the internal mechanism and withstands the pressure generated.
Grease Reservoir: Stores grease to be pumped.
Inlet and Outlet: Allows grease to freely enter and exit from the pump.
Pressure Relief Valve: Enables safe operation and protection against over-pressurization.
The pneumatic grease pump is good for dense, high viscosity greases and usually requires high compression ratios (e.g., 50:1 or 100:1) that create outlet pressures that are capable of delivering sufficient pressure to the required lubrication points for the defined period, even with long hauls and difficult conditions.
Conclusion
In today’s industry, piston pumps, pneumatic pumps, and pneumatic grease pumps all fulfill important roles. Piston pumps can deliver a stable, high-pressure flow of fluids, irrespective of the type of fluid, including those with solids or higher viscosities. Pneumatic pumps are a safe, reliable, flexible way to pump liquids and gas using compressed air and are typically used in situations where the use of electricity is either unsafe or impractical. Pneumatic grease pumps are critical to maintaining the function of machinery and vehicles by accurately dispensing high-viscosity lubricants. While the use of pumps across all industries can take on many different forms, together the two technologies for pumps push performance, efficiency, and safety in performance in tens of thousands of applications.
