Love moments like this. Dude with ultra eye-melting endgame armor and cash shop cosmetics approaches me at an open-world event and declares: I'll cover this side. We're fixing a leak in a water pipe. Cover it with what, I wonder? Peanut butter? I say nothing. He towers above me like a god of particle effects and high-effort achievements. Who am I to question him? I watch as he proceeds to decimate a bunch of mobs, but not pick up/throw the items they drop which is what the event requires. He posts ??? several times. Then he watches me pick up a single object in my weak little open-world hands, throw it, and complete the event. As the (mediocre) loot and XP sparkles down on everyone in the event radius, he says, somewhat meekly: ..oh.

What’s got you down, old boy?” He heaves a sigh as though he had the world on his shoulders. “Nothing.” I touch his forehead to check if he’s warm. “Have you checked your sugar? Are you hypo? Do you want some juice?” He glares at me. “No. Stop fussing!” Scowling, I prop my fists on my hips. “Why are you all dressed up? Are you going to somewhere? We’re still on lockdown.” He rolls his eyes. “I know that. I just got tired of wearing my jammies.” He gives me a nudge. “Go, go take a shower and put on something nice. We’ll get all fancy, order in French food, and watch Tiger King.” My mouth drops open. “Are you serious?” He nods slowly. “Of course. It’s Date Night.”

I meant, was he serious about "Tiger King"?

I think you’ve got higher cheekbones and a sharper jaw.” He lowers his gaze to me and chuckles, chagrined. He doesn’t like talking about his looks. “I think the old sod is rather dashing, don’t you?” I shrug. “I don’t know. I don’t think I’d be his type.” He crosses his arms over his chest and gives me a considering look. “Why not?” I clear my throat. “Well, according to you, I’m a nagging fishwife who’s always badgering after you about one thing or another.” He smiles and chucks my chin. “But those are your charming qualities.”

I will definitely admit I have been a #Cap fan, a #WinterSoldier fan through and through, and was totally #TeamCap from the get go. Even in the comics I was never a huge Ironman fan.
