This came up in discord and I'm curious about other fictionkin people's experiences about new media and kinfirming.

I've been asking you all about what Pokémon should be Poképollser's official mascot, and you've had some great suggestions! But now I think it's time to pick one, and there's only one way decisions are made on this blog! First, let's meet the contestants.

Oricorio was suggested by @haveyouusedthispokemon, as it has multiple forms to adapt to the different tournaments we do! Likewise, they suggested Minior, whose different colours bring to mind something similar.

Pop-Star Pikachu was suggested by @loud-kid2 for the vibes, and @caren-blckprl suggested question mark Unown, since everything we do here is to answer questions!

Ditto and Mew were both brought up as they can transform, like the blog changes for different tournaments! An anonymous asker suggested Ditto first, then @zigdirty brought up how Mew is the backbone of all Pokémon, like the blog is the backbone for all the polls we do.

@forger343 suggested Magby, because Magby, and @unculturedmamoswine suggested Victini, because it brings victory- and there are certainly plenty of winners here! And finally, I had to include mod's personal favourite Pokémon, Absol, as an option as well.

So, which should we pick? The match will run for a week, and at my discretion, I may run a final later if the results are especially close. Without further ado, please cast your votes!

This blog asks the question…which of the ASOIAF Great Houses would your character be part of?

The rules are simple:

1) Submit your character as an ask. All I request is that you include the character’s name and where they’re from. (EXAMPLE: Tony Stark from Marvel). If you don’t include either the name or the fandom, the ask will be deleted.

2) No real people. That being said, if you’re submitting a fictionalized version of a real person, then that’s acceptable.

3) Feel free to add propaganda.

A brief description of the Great Houses:

1) House Targaryen: Known for their ability to ride dragons, silver hair, and madness

2) House Stark: Known for their unrelenting honor and ability to survive the harshest of winters

3) House Lannister: Known for their riches and cunning

4) House Baratheon: Known for their strength and combat prowess as many of the Baratheon line are known for being great fighters and brilliant generals

5) House Greyjoy: Known for being seafarers, raiding and plundering other parts of Westeros, and their general non-conformity with the mainland

6) House Tully: Known for its strong sense of family, loyalty, and the importance of duty.

7) House Arryn: Known for their knightly virtues and strong adherences to chivalry and honor

8) House Martell: Known for their defiance and unwavering resilience

9) House Tyrell: Known for their ambition, wealth, and their land being the most fertile of the realm

I've been wondering this for a while about my art style...

(Gathered as much art pieces I could find on my computer for examples.)

I'm yet again making another late night post for tomorrow morning to see if anyone is sick of the big eyes, sharp nose and no ears, or if I'm overthinking again.

My characters aren't really distinguishable from their faces but instead by their hair/body. Still I wanna see how my style can improve without it deviating too much from its roots. Some of the biggest inspirations for my art style are The Amazing World of Gumball, Omori (a video game), a hit of Avatar (the blue alien movie) and various other 2010's cartoons and various mangas both modern and classic (e.x. The Promised Neverland, Astro Boy, Candy Candy etc). I'd also say for better or worse I developed a bit of the "Tumblr Art Style".

Something that's commonplace to most people might be a little dream to many others. I hope that whatever your little dream is, it will come true 🌠

So it's looking like sometime soon I'll be playing a Monotype Run on the blog! But we've got some important things to determine. First, what game would you like to see me play?

There are more games than poll options, so the first choice you'll make is what region you want to see- then we'll do a second poll for the specific game. The games in brackets are the ones I own for each region, so those will be your options should that region win. No need to make this poll longer than a day I think, and the follow up poll will be tomorrow once this one finishes.

Also just a note that Paldea isn't an option here, because I'm currently working on my Kitakami and Blueberry Pokédexes, so I don't want to start over fresh!
