Corbeau, Emo
"in between days" et l'album célèbre des Cure. "Head of the door".

October review.
Today is the last day of the month, and also the last day of Blogtober2021. I didn’t think I’d make it through, but somehow I did. Actually, I quite enjoyed blogging every day, but I don’t think it’s sustainable long term. If you missed a day or two, or would like a recap you can find all those posts VIA THIS LINK BLOGTOBER2021 also coincided with an Instagram meme – #organisedoctober. In theory…

Blogtober Day 15 - Apple Season
Apple tree flowers are pretty, there's a symphony of nuzzling bees so busy collecting nectar.
Then fall comes
Those flowers turned to fruit during long and bright summer days.
Ripe in green, yellow, or red a branch just in reach if you stretched a little bit longer, everyone could see if they put a little goodwill behind thet the branch really was stretching across the fence, juicy apple ready to pluck - right on the sidewalk, public domain;
I love apple season
Crunchy juicy apples from the tree, or when you have a little patience trying to cut the skin of in one long spiraling pice.
Have you ever looked at the shades of colors?
An apple isn't just red, yellow, or green.
Some are eaten right away, some are saved for later days
They make for nice decorations, on your kitchen or coffee table a healthy tempting delight.
Some are cut in boat shapes for pie
I really love warm apple pie with cream or ice cream
Some are squeezed for refreshing morning juicy
While they contain a lot of sugar and acid sugar, it's still better than soda I'm sure.
Some end up as jam in a jar
They're so good on pancakes, or on your oatmeal with yogurt, or on toast with butter; my mouth just water thinking about it.
I love apple season so, even though it's been years since I picked an apple from a tree
childhood memories that never fades, someone yelling from across the yard, those are not yours, but everyone can see with a little goodwill, those branches really are stretching over the fence, public domain

Percuter

A confession…
I’m not doing very well with #organisedoctober! There – I’ve said it I have now completed and joined another 42 squares of the Boddington blanket. But there are more than that still to do! Each strip is 14 squares long … it’s going to be a B I G blanket! Yesterday I took a break. Oncoming traffic was horrendous, but as you can see our journey was unhindered. We went about 20 miles to a…

Etymologie - Espri

Men at work. OK, vu.

Who else made one of these?
Who else made one of these?
Today is the first day of #blogtober2021. The idea is to post daily for the whole month. Not sure I can complete the challenge but I’ll try. I had cause to remember this yesterday. All the colours were chosen by the little girl for whom it was made. I’m pleased to say that it’s still loved even though the little girl isn’t quite so small 😉

Blogtober Day 12 - Fall Traditions
We always go on a fall vacation, sometimes by the sea and sometimes near a forest. Whether it be a cabin or an apartment.
If the weather permits it we'd make a bonfire and heat water for hot chocolate and grilled marshmallows.

When near the sea We'd stroll the beach and feel the wind whipping our faces and look at the foaming ocean.
When near a forest we'd go for walks and look at the leaves. Maybe picking pine cones.
Hot chocolate, cone picking, and walks we'd do whether we'd be home or on autumn vacation.
Board games also come out in the fall and books.
Some are traditions from when I was little and some are rather new, nothing wrong with creating new traditions.
Halloween is kinda a new tradition over here, we didn't do that when I was a kid, it was imported from the states, but that's a story for a later post.
I guess the beach part is my special autumn tradition, most people don't go enjoy the beach in the fall, but I do. Also.
Now let me get back to enjoying my hot chocolate while looking at the rain and wind having it outside my window.

Blogtober Day 6 - What I Like About Fall
It just seems a bit warmer when it start to get colder
Tumblr media
The coffee smells better on early autumn mornings just before night has lifted it's dark cloak, you step outside and feels the cold morning air, just to go back inside with the coffee cup warm in your hands.
I like the contrast fall brings, fall can be like all four seasons in one In the morning it might feel like winter is here, while in the afternoon it's like summer still visit to tell you what just was. Lovely sunny days, whispering windy days, and a stormy crescendo of wind and rain.
I love the colors of Fall it's like someone scattered gold frome above just to show off nature's wealth. Speaking of wealth apple's are ripe for picking and life is nuzzling all around.
I love the colors of the evening sky, it comes a little earlier and gloves up a little more magical just to tell you appricate this soon winter's starful sky will take my place
I like the smell of an evening cup of tea in the fall just as the sun said goodbye. Breath in.

Blogtober Day 31 - Conclusion
I won't judge the output, but forcing myself to write and publish every day definitely helped overcome the fear of the publishing button.
I didn't edit or stack any post so what you got was whatever was on my mind at the time, before when I've been writing those posts has always ended up in the draft folder never to be read.
I don't know if I found my writing voice yet, but at least it's a work in progress just like this website.
Stay tuned 😉
To be updated, but it's Halloween
